Just hold on a minute. This whole thing stinks. I know I don't know him personally, but I have to ask myself if he did, why here, and why now? First he was called home because of a sickness in his family right? But get this...he actually GOES HOME!!! This does not sound like a person who could give a rats a-- about his family's well being. Then he calls into work to tell them that he wouldn't be at the PPV on Sunday due to this family sickness right? At this point I gotta ask, if you're planning to whack yourself (in the ultimate middle finger to the world) after 86ing your family why are you going to care enough to call into work? He lives in a secluded area on acres of land, what purpose would having the lights off serve? He could've stood in the window with all lights going and noone would see him and even if they did, assuming BENOIT WASN'T PLANNING TO BE ALIVE ANYMORE, why would he care? Their bodies were found Chris (weight room), wife (bedroom), kid (kids room). Chris' body being found in the weight room.....I dunno, it just seems staged. You whack your wife then go to the weight room? Wrestling was his job and all but did he love it THAT MUCH over his wife? I offer this: Chris was called home by his family unknowing that someone (an intruder/intruders) were already inside his home. Maybe it was a legitimate call to Chris with an actual sickness OR his family may have been coaxed into doing so. Chris walks in, and they nab him too, a little hostage situation ensues, 1, 2, 3 out, killer escapes, meanwhile the place has been set up to look like a murder suicide and here most of you are cursing his life forever. I'd hate to see you guys on a jury, Jesus, Maria, and Jose'. How about we just wait for the results to come out eh? Until he is proven guilty, let's let the man who trained so hard and put his neck on the line every time he wrestled on or off camera, every time he got into a plane to fly to the next hotel for no other reason than our entertainment and providing for his family, REST. Also, as far as I can see, the only place being credited with the murder/suicide story is Fox News........................(just sayin' is all.....)

I don't think that's an entirely fair assesment - WWE probably didn't know all that they know now when they went live. If they'd ignored it, and it turned out to be a robbery/homicide they'd have looked like jerks. I think it's a real shame this happened, and that's about all I can say about that.....................

Actually, what I thought was interesting about the OP was that Benoit wasn't "main event" material due to his mic skills...... yet Kane was considered for a title run?? Yeah, that makes sense, since his mic skills are so strong!
