RM Primal Convoy and Beast Megatron are pretty cool. I have had both and they are great retooled & resized versions of the orginial BW figures. Primal had a lot of weapons a pretty decent articulation. Get Primal for sure, Megs if you can.

I went to Target bought the Widescreen DVD w/ Coin and BFII (PS2) with $5 Vader gift card...then I went over to Best Buy and got a FX Vader ESB Light Saber!

The TRU by my home has been selling those like crazy. Just recently, my Walmart and Target has started carrying them. Regardless, I bet they do even better as we get closer to Xmas.

I am really looking forward to this reissue, I never had him as a kid.

True, G1 does not mean better. But the fact remains that the BT line is directly based on the G1 storyline...so in this crazy world of toy fandom, it should be not a surprise that people here would want to discuss this topic. Maybe this thread will actually help someone who actually collects BTs or Alts make a choice. That would be really weird wouldn't it?

Why does that even matter!?! This is NOT 1984... There is no such thing as "G1 accuracy" or "proper" colors unless you're referring to G1 toys within the G1 line, neither of which these two Sunstreakers belong. Why does it matter???? Why does it matter to you so much? This is a TF forum and this is a BT/Alt thread. The BT line is a continuation of the G1 line. If you have been following the Binaltech story translation you would know this. While it is unknown if the BTA line will have any part in the BT story, BT/Alt Sunstreaker is an obivous ungrade of the G1 character. So why is it so horrible if fans are looking to see which Sunstreaker is more G1ish in terms of colors? I prefer the BT colors. Sometimes less is better.

WTF? You are little all over the place in you answer here. Kids pass up Alts because Alts aren't aimed at kids. You only buy stupid Alts when there is nothing else new on the shelf? I don't understand. Are you saying that you are a kid too or that your local store is frequently out of TMNT action figures? We are killing the franchise? I just want what everyone else seems to be able to get here. Seems like generic userA (won't use the guys actual names since I do actually like a couple of the people) can say "Hey, I need this!", and 5 different people fall all over themselves to say "Hey, userA, I got one for ya for cost +shipping!". Seems like when I say it though those people are never around. Just want it for cost + basic shipping. It's not like I'm asking anyone to go buy it and then just give it to me for free. That really does suck. I wish I could help you. If I actually owned an Alt. Wheeljack I could probably hook you up like Obi1Killa, but I don't even have a loose one. Bill's does have a questionable rep on TFW (which is funny since he is a sponsor), but considering it would be around the same price as Obi1Killa's offer and you don;t care about packaging, I would do it. Or call your local Targets with the UPC code. He has been sighted lately.

And I placed the order with bbts because as it turned out at the time, well before most stores had it for pre-order, BBTS was the cheapest for the set at the time. Shipping is 6 bucks since it is USPS Priority Mail. Sorry man, but I don't feel comfortable opening it and sending it in a smaller box. It is not that we don't know that BBTS has high prices and high shipping. I agree with you on that completely. It is that just weird that of all the online retailers available you chose BBTS to order a brand new RM Thundercracker/Skywarp if packaging is not important to you. I only order from them when they have clearance sales. You may alread know this, but for others check out Shoppertron.com for other online stores that might have Alt. Wheeljack (or other Alts) available. You can also click the link for the Shopperton Talk (under Shoppertron Info) for store feedback. The links are sometimes old, so the prices and availability are not up-to-date, but the site is good as a reference point when looking for the best price.

Well, I know of one at my local Target. But after calculating the price of the toy (19.99), sales tax 8.25%, estimated shipping (6.00 USPS Priority Mail w/tracking number) and PayPal fees...the total is 28.75, only 2.23 less than what BBTS would charge. I can do it for you , no problem. I have an extra box and the time to do it. The only problem is that it has a small tear on the top. Did you try contacting BBTS about your dent in the RM Thundercracker/Skywarp? I am sure they would do something to help you out. Their customer service, as well as JRS, is great. Packaging is their thing (which is why the shipping price is a little higher), so if you ordered a standard item, not sub-standard, you should have received it in great shape.
