TF, If I remember right from when I put my Dragonhawk together, the pegs for the turbines were hexagonal - much like the interchangeable weapons systems. If you installed one turbine horizontally and the other one turn of the hexagon off from the first then, that would account for the 30 deg offset. Pull one turbine off, make sure to line up the two turbines and reinstall it. It has been a while since I put mine together so I may be wrong, but it is worth a try. David

I have to ask. How do you know that he is a guy? While living in New Orleans, I learned to spot guys dressed as girls pretty well...out of necessity. One of my friends could never tell very well. The Native Americans now call him "Dances with Men" - don't ask. I don't SEE any tell-tale signs. No Adam's apple or such. Just wondering....

First, go to the store, and talk to the manager. Carry the product with you so you can show him/her in detail the problem. If that does not work, hope that you used a credit card for the purchase. I always do...even tough I pay off the balance every month. You can call the credit card company and block payment for a defective product. Let TRU do the work to get the money from you. When they call/write you to tell you that you owe them for a product that was purchased and then the credit payment was rejected, you can politely offer to return the product to their store, in order to rectify the situation. I have never had to do this personally, but having the peace of mind helps.

I noticed that on my copy a long time ago, but since no one else mentioned it that I could find on the boards, I just dismissed it. Watch it again. I think Serpentor refers to the other Joes as Action Force as well. I think it may be a soundtrack from the International or British version.

I had several long talks with some of the guys at the Hasbro booth. I was told that the DTC line had a huge amount of overstock sitting in warehouses after we, the fans, bought our fill. That is when TRU was approached about carrying the line. TRU has been happy so far with the results of the sales from DTC, but it is a waiting game to see if enough sells to warrant any future waves. They honestly have no answer from the suits within Hasbro about whether they will be able to continue the line beyond wave 4. The heads of the company would be crazy to okay future waves that would just sit as inventory. Hasbro is a huge public company. The bottom line is that the company owes allegiance to the shareholders to do things that keep the company solvent. As an investor within the stock market, that is what I expect the companies of which I own stock to do. Every one of the Hasbro guys I talked to was straight forward about one thing. The DTC line would have failed if it had remained solely Direct to Consumer instead of branching out to TRU. These guys were also fans of the 3 3/4 line. They all said they grew up with that line and wanted to see it continue. As long as DTC does well at TRU and possibly other outlets, then we WILL see more. Speculation either positive or negative at this point is just that, speculation. However, the success of the brand as a whole is largely based on Six Sigma at this point. Like it or not, Six Sigma has been a huge success for them this year, brandwise.

The invention of the internet will allow you to see all of the product, or lack of it, from the comfort of your home. If the only reason to go was to see the new stuff, then I would not waste my money. I am going to spend time wth friends and make new friends. Also, the cops of NAwlins give the best beatings. Well, I just about had a heart attack, but not about the price increase. When some of you mentioned how much you had spent on DTC, I decided to go back to my past orders (there were seven of them) and do some math. Since the site opened in July, I have spent......... wait for it....... a little over $2000...........where is a doctor when you need one?

What about the FLAGG fantail railing that I watched skyrocket to $70 on Ebay a couple of weeks ago? You get more plastic on a model parts tree that just gets thrown away. I mean I was watching it cause it is all I need to have a 100% complete FLAGG, but I was thinking nothing over $15. I'll make one from scrap plastic before I pay any prices like that. I know it won't be original, but so what?

I got mine from Wal Mart back in the day. My brother and I each got one at the same time. We both saved our allowances for almost two months to get them. My brother still has the box. At Wally World it was 69.88. His box still has the green Wal Mart sticker on it.

Thanks for everyone who has written back. I am only able to get online about once a day. I can't even get on the other boards I usually read for some reason. Man, I hate the boonies sometimes. (My parents live in a town of 4000 in north MS). Anyway, I am going to be reading and posting very little in the meantime. I have only heard third hand news of my neighborhood so far. It seems I may only have wind damage (blown off shingles) and some trees down. I don't think I have any flooding. The local parish president will allow us back on Monday morning. I wanted to thank everyone who has written or called. I live in New Orleans, and unless you live under a rock, you know about Katrina. I evacuated on Friday night, well before the storm got there. I am safe and so are my loved ones. That is all that matters. I don't know about my house or any of my belongings. It looks like the officials are not going to let us in until a week from now, so it may take a while to find out if anything survived. I am lucky that I live west of the city on the west bank of the river. The pictures and video you have all seen are near downtown or east of the city. Those of you who have met me at the con or have traded with me have made a lot of difference by asking about me. Thanks to you all. I love the Joe community for things like this. It really makes me feel good to know that I am a part of a community that cares about others. If you have called and not gotten through, I am sorry. Most of the lines are down. The write up on the back even says that Ace was captured and Duke picked a four man team to rescue him: Snake Eyes, Mutt, and TWO greenshirts. Hahahahahahahaha. This totally works if you have Ace demoted to a greenshirt and pretend that Mutt becomes Roadblock when you knock him around kinda like Banner becomes the Hulk.
