it's a great trailer. the music reminds me of that of passion of the Christ. 5 more days to go. then we will see it once, twice, three times..........then what? are our lives complete?

i found 5 of the clone commanders during my lunch hour. pick them up. they look good.
-
big deal. she's naked. everybody wants something to go nuts over. its not the first nor last naked lady spreading for a magazine. what if it were maxim or one of those barely legal magazines? would they make a big fuss? the lady isn't even in the movie- it's not like as if natalie portman was spread eagle on the playboy cover. (that would be nice, but it won;t happen.) but look at what people look at to start any type of hype. @xwing@ @xwing@

too each his own. whatever floats his boat, our ours. ewan is into mountain biking. I am not into mountain biking. but because ewan is extreme on it, i am not going to wave my little flabby finger and go "tsk tsk, freak you a bad man!!" like babu from seinfeld.

Nobody Likes Clean And Battle Damaged Reg Clones?
rupert replied to Cyber Bishop's topic in Star Wars
that's the best on yet. -
no kidding. its just candy. and even to a closer extent, i stopped going nuts looking for clone troopers. enough is enough, and the hype will die down in a few months. that teacher needs to check his priorities, or check in his desk for a light sabre!! @duel@@

Nobody Likes Clean And Battle Damaged Reg Clones?
rupert replied to Cyber Bishop's topic in Star Wars
i was so tempted to buy some right now when i clicked on the link, but then realized i can just wait and get them individually. i like the clean versions, i like to do my own modifications. the earth entertainment price just hurts my wallet. -
WHats that bike is that?! It actaully looks pretty decent, aside from the clone out fit on it... How about a pic with some regualr clone guy on it? where did you get the clear figure stands?

#41 Clone Trooper #2. Is He Worth Getting?
rupert replied to The Dark Sith Lord's topic in Star Wars
yup, i would also suggest #6 over #41. sure #6 doesn't have a ball jointed waist, but its in the hips were it really counts. but the only figure #6 & #41 lower waist, take second place to is to the tank gunner clone trooper. so all the best qualities are spread out between different versions. that bites. -
i guess i did. i am not into crappy statuettes, but the clone war infactuation has gotten to me because o the promise of "super articulation." they are not bad. i still won't fork over for anything else. i saw the darth vader case at walmart for $23 dollars. piece of crap. the only reason i would but it is for the "super articulated" clone trooper that comes with this piece of crap. grrrr. but i won't.

because the SA trooper is so rare right now, i haven't bashed it yet. my best guess would be to custom make parts using WAVE option system ball joints. wave option system
-
CB, i saw a couple of #49 commander Bacara at my local walmart a few days ago. if you want the hookup, PM me. i will look today if they are still there.

i like the sears comment, "A great gift for ages 4-12" yeah right. its for you die hard collectors ages 18-45. i picked up the gunner, and yes, the elbows suck hard. hard, i say! no waist joint just hammers my jewels. grrr. the only plus is the legs are movable at the crotch area. not even the coveted #41 SA trooper has those thigh joints. i threw away the extra helmet "mud flap" and cut off the "gun holster," and men in black mini gun." out of 5 stars, i give it a 3 star.

awesome diorama. i want something like that.

very good work. how about adding some wear and tear on some of the paint to make him look like he's been around the block taking care of business.
-
great work indeed, jim. this is definetly what ALL hasbro star wars figures should be like: at least 14 point jointed. i finally got a hold of their "super" articulated clone trooper. i knew it wasn't going to be a toy biz marvel legend high standard figure; but it is really nice. so i started thinking "why can't ALL star wars figures have joints where joints are suppose to go? no wonder this clone trooper is so coveted. it has posability instead of peg warming-ability. thanks again jim for the awesome greivous!
-
are the ep 2 SA clone troops avaliable anywhere? they look very decent. anybody have any? (through it sounds like a stupid question.)
-
no kidding. its a woman's choice to do anything, even pose to make a couple of bucks. lucas is just the greediest guy out there, and to him in his eyes is his own god. he stands to make millions on a movie, standing on the shoulders of very talented and uncredited people- yet he himself crushes this model/ actress? very double standard. whether bai ling realizes it, she is the winner in this.
-
can someone specify where the 14 points of articulation are on this "super articulated" clone trooper? everywhere i have asked, no one seems to know.
-
what labels this figure "super articulated?" do all his limbs move, unlike most of the other figures? what's the selling point for #41?
-
she looks good. just hope that if you take off the breast plate, she's flat!! fake contacts, eyelashes, wig, now breast plate?!

I Hate You All For Making Me Buy Clonetroopers!
rupert replied to Leonardo T Dragon's topic in Star Wars
anybody got a picture of this "super articulated" clone trooper #41? how articulated is he? because most of the figures have very few if any moving joints. -
what does the early bird kit look like? got a picture link?
-
i'm big on articualtion, and i bit my lip when i bought the deluxe greivous. besides not having more joints on its arms, its so so. the regular version is lighter- more of a beige color, while the deluxe is just plain dirty looking. i thought for an extra couple of bucks, it would be better. it isn't. but stand alone, its alright for a hasbro toy. if anyone want's it let me know. just send postage and i will give them my used deluxe grievous.
