  1. Wow, Deathstroke. That's almost NOT a Batman character . . . almost.
  2. Well it's about time! I've really been getting sick of this line ignoring the Batman area of the DCU.

Adam Strange and Starfire just arrived from Amazon. God, I still love that Adam Strange figure. Had to perform a little hot and cold therapy to straighten out Starfire's warped right leg. Anxious to see if it takes, since by my calculations, the figure had been in that position for just over a decade.
  4. Do they still consider them "peg-warmers" if they don't even rate a peg? The only JCs I've seen at ANY Walmart were a couple of Roadblocks and a Scarlett laying in that weird space at the botton of the pegs. You know how at the bottom of the pegboard they have that shelf sticking out, then below that there's a little cubby hole, then the floor? The Joes were in that little cubby. They're Cubby-Warmers.
  5. I'd call it a foregone conclusion Hasbro was depending on the Snake Eyes movie to float this line. That would certainly go a long way to explaining the stunted character selection, anemic distribution, and virtually non-existent retailer support. Or at least, it's as good an explanation as any other (more likely than most actually). So that brings the million dollar question. With the growing frequency of new outbreaks, lock-downs, and quarantines making the release of ANY given movie about as likely as a second stimulus check, how long can this line afford to limp along on repaints and p
  6. Not really. The Super 7 stuff is in a much larger scale. Think Marvel Legends vs. MOTU Classics. I was actually kind of disappointed when I found out. If the Super7 figures were anywhere near the animated figure scale, I'd have dropped Neca in an instant.

As I said above, MacFarlane and Spin Masters just aren't getting it done for me, and I was never really happy with the majority of the Mattel Multiverse figures, so I made the conscious decision to go back to the source. After selling off my entire DCUC collection back in mid-late 2018-early 2019, I decided to get the band back together. After only a bit more than a week and a half, I've gotten farther, faster, and for less than I would've thought I would. So far, the new collection consists of the Multiverse Super Friends tribute figures of Superman, Batman, Aquaman, and Green Lante
  9. Used to mourn the death of the animation industry in this country, but if this is the kind of crap we have to look forward to . . . . . . chop it up, burn it, and bury it in an unmarked grave.
  10. The father was played by Hodder to. They REALLY need to make a figure of that guy (Kane Hodder not Thomas Crowley).
  11. You didn't miss much. The series is your basic Friday the 13th pastiche and Victor Crowley is a low-rent Jason Voorhees. The only reason they got any attention whatsoever is because the first was done at a time when EVERY movie-maker was doing their "Love-Letter to the 80s." If you like your kills comically over the top, and your thrills and chills delivered tongue-n-cheek, you'd probably dig it. I didn't. Although, the second did recast the final girl from the first with the always yummy Danielle Harris.
  12. Considering you're looking at the end-result of months of dieting, working out, and body sculpting, are you really surprised?
  13. Credit where credit is due, it's hell and away better than season 1. Also beats the usual stanby of generic black body armor and/or neo-goth fetish gear (lookin' at you Arrowverse).
  14. No, I'm expressing my opinion. If that's a problem for you two, I suggest you both make like speed bumps and get over yourselves.
  15. Sadly, very few shows get anywhere near their full potential before they get the axe.
  16. Well, I know when I think "Batman," I think Burbank, California. Still, not as ridiculous as the concept of "Digital Sculpting."
  17. Kind of reinforces my theory that the CW is "Pulling a CBS" and quietly purging it's superhero programming.
  18. Okay, waiting for the second shoe to drop. These will only be sold at Targets . . . in the Southwest United States . . . between the hours of 9-11:45 am . . . during months ending in "Y?"
  19. So, so much wrong. I . . . I just can't even deal.
  20. You learn a similar lesson from Neca TMNT Target exclusives . . . but with more dirty words.
