  1. Love seeing the Gargoyles getting some merchandising love again. Though not exactly what I've been longing for. Someday, Neca's gonna pick up this license. They'll make Target TMNT style 2-packs of EVERYBODY: Goliath, Angela, Elisa, Xanatos in his Steel Clan armor, Owen, MacBeth, Titania, the Weird Sisters, Oberon, Cu Cullen . . . yeah, I'll just keep telling myself that. That'll make everything okay . . .
  2. Or someone buys more than their share, so even if your store does stock them, you still can't find any. Vicious circle.
  3. As I said before, I've never heard of the character, but I hope the show does well. The CW needs a few more good shows. On the down-side, I've grown to really hate these multiverse story-lines. It's just gotten a bit overdone.
  4. I seriously need that Rat King, but yeah, Vernon is high on my list to.
  5. I love it! Why hasn't Macfarlane or Jazwares thought of this yet? Well done!
  6. I've felt that way myself. Fact is, if I could just score that Splinter pack, I could call it a day and walk. Sure, I want Rat-King and Mondo, and maybe Krang's Android Body, but I've got just about everybody I consider a "Must-Have."
  7. Up until mid-Dec. I had been supplementing the ole' toy budget by selling on Ebay. Unfortunately, the post office kinda went nuts for a bit, and after several close calls, and having to refund one guy for a lost order, I decided to take a break. Fortunately, my area is still in the throws of the post-holiday dry-spell so it isn't really an issue yet. Still, when the IRS finally deposits my 600 bucks I, and my toy retailers, will be very happy to get it.
  8. The "unmasked" one, right? If you squint, it kinda looks like Gal Gadot. The calm helmeted head looks like they just used some no-name model, and the "angry" head . . . looks kinda like Hailee Steinfeld.
  9. Sweet, I got lucky on Zarak and Zork the first time around. Maybe my luck will hold out.
  10. Or another lame excuse to rerelease a figure that's already been done once. Less work that way.
  11. For better or worse, they always try and bring in new blood, even if it does make more sense to use one of the existing cast. Not that I care, since I'm strictly about Rose, but to me using Sophie would have much more built-in story value. At least more than bringing in a ringer so you can basically retell the first few episodes of season 1.
  12. See, that's just as bad though. Either way, whoever gets there after the guy who snagged those extra packs is out of luck when he doesn't have to be. It's real simple, if everybody bought 1 per customer, nobody would NEED anyone to send them one.
  13. I guess I'm not the only one who hopes these are closer to the Target TMNT end of the 7 inch scale. I don't wanna put to fine a point on this, but I NEED a 1/12th Phantom in my collection. Flash and Ming, sure, but the Phantom is a must.
  14. Oh, and to those whose Mommies weren't around to read them the big words (killMonger is one of them) I actually dug Batwoman, and happily said so repeatedly, . . . until the writing took a nose-dive post-Crisis.
  15. Technically, he did. I believe the Phantom from Defenders was supposed to be the 22nd., who's inferred to be the son of the Phantom from the comic strip (the 21st.). When the 21st Phantom appeared in flashbacks, he did indeed wear those crazy candy-stripe trunks.
  16. Yeah, along with the cool animated styling, the accessories are a huge draw for me. Of course, I don't exactly hate the fact they're in nearly perfect Marvel Legends scale either. Forget Skrulls and Kree, I have my GOTG going at it with Triceratons!
  17. Given all the rumors surrounding Rose's leaving the show, I'm almost tempted to watch this episode (ALMOST), just to see how they finally write her out. You can't really believe the publicists, the cast and crew won't bite the hand that feeds them, 9.9 times out of 10 the internet doesn't have a clue, and the tabloids are professional BSers, but you can usually tell how an actor and a production parted ways by how they're written out of the show. Character leaves town, disappears under mysterious circumstances, goes off on a quest of personal discovery, etc. = Amicable split with the prod
  18. Yes, because comic book history is always the main driving force in a Berlanti dumpster fire.
  19. Target Turtles have never exactly been plentiful around here, but I usually had pretty solid luck. It may just be me, but it seems like since that first on-line fiasco, scalpers have been gobbling these things up like gold-plated toilet paper. I still occasionally get lucky, but those times are far and few between. At first I was willing to go the Ebay mark-up to get certain figures, but nowadays that's just not someplace I can go anymore. Won't say I'm counting the line out, I'm just not going to bat as much as I'd like.
  20. Sooo, they've pretty much written off the 1/12th. scale line except for multiple Raptor redecos? Disappointing.
  21. Every opportunity Berlanti DOESN'T get to ruin another superhero series is a cause for celebration in my book. Although, I thought they had written this particular pitch off a long time ago.
  22. Maybe this'll be the wave that finally hits the mark . . . but I doubt it. Right about now, the best I hope for from the Toddster is he gets what he wants from the license and lets it go to someone else when it expires.
  23. So ole' Todd is finally gonna put on his big-boy pants and do a real DC wave huh? Interested to see if he can pull it off.
