  1. I could see it, but they'd have to finally break down and get Wolverine a decent suit.
  2. Thing about Fox is there was a time everything they showed was this huge trend-setting hit, from America's Most Wanted to X-Files. But Fox's hey-day was a long time ago. The closest thing they have to a flag-ship series is The Simpsons, and even that is showing it's age after twenty-something years. That's why a show has to tank BAD to be canceled off Fox nowadays. They need whatever successes they can get, no matter how small. Why else do you think 24 keeps creeping back? Family Guy was canceled, what, three or four times during its run. Kept coming back. So if Gotham can make it through this first season, and Warners doesn't pull the plug to clear the way for Superman/Batman (as they tried to do with Smallville for Superman Returns), it has a better than average chance of going the distance.
  3. DCC solicitations are out, and the Batman figures are with them, along with their official size. Knowing DCC's hard-on for making their 6" scale figures maddeningly just out of scale with the Mattel lines, the actual size was really the last potential sticking point I had. No more. According to the solicitations: Batman = 6.25" Catwoman = 5.5" Mr. Freeze = 6.75" Two-Face = 6" (Maybe it's just because big ol' Richard Moll voiced him, but I always pictured Harvey being a lot bigger. So, for the most part, these will be smaller than most DCUC, but surprisingly fit perfectly with DC Total Heroes. Considering the para-animated style of that line, an in-scale animated Bat-Line just got a whole other dimension of cool.
  4. Since, as several people on other forums tend to forget, this is NOT a DCAU line, rather a line based solely on the two Batman series, I'm hoping it DOES extend to "Special Guest Heroes" like Jonah Hex and Zatanna from 'The Animated Series and Entrigan, Creeper, and especially Supergirl from The New Adventures.
  5. They were just putting these out this afternoon while I was out and about at Wally-World. So far the only movie Transformer I ever bought was Jazz (because, you know . . . he's Jazz), but when I saw that Cab-Forward Optimus Prime in G1 colors, oh baby!
