  1. Good news if you're into it I guess. Not my thing, but I always celebrate when a kids franchise gets a show that kids can actually watch.
  2. Makes since. You'd be hard-pressed to find a collector more critical of Hasbro than that guy.
  3. These seem interesting, but when is Enterprise gonna get some love? Sure you see merch occasionally, but it's few and far between. Sad state of affairs for a great show whose only real crime was being, as Connor "Trip" Trinneer once put it, "One trip to the well to many."
  4. Some of these look cool, but as I've said before, i will never support the movie that took Brandon Lee away from us in any way, shape, or form.
  5. Sure, in a way. On the other hand, seeing as how the hundreds of bucks a year I drop on their stuff helps pay these douche-bags' pay checks, I'm not sure I'm down with being a living joke to the over-paid intellectual flat-lines.
  6. Of course personal mileage will vary, but I think the general consensus is Wonder Woman and Aquaman were the first totally successful DCCU movies. MOS, BVS, and WW84 were successful but extremely divisive, Suicide Squad was a disappointment but Warners carried it for a bit due to Margot Robbie's brief status as an "It Girl." Birds of Prey was a flop and, barring the intervention of rabid James Gunn fans, I don't see the new Suicide Squad movie doing much better. BTW: Who wants to bet the new Suicide Squad pulls a Machete 2 and Harley appears just long enough to take a bullet?
  7. Pretty smooth on the brand team's part. A little bit of internet worthy (ie Lame) humor to distract everyone from the fact they released another "Screaming-Face." I'm not sure what's sadder, that they pulled such a transparent ploy . . . or that it apparently worked.
  8. I'm still not getting my hopes up. As far as DC movies go, Warner Bros. has a long and proud history of pulling crap from the jaws of victory.
  9. Never seen any of her work, so I can't really judge her acting, but going purely from the photo, I could see it.
  10. Can a comic series this full of cliches, over-used tropes and in which literally every character is a "pastiche" of other existing characters REALLY be called "Ground Breaking?" Then again, we are talking Bob Kirkman, whose only claim to fame is rehashing the EXACT same zombie story EVERYONE has been telling since Romero in '68.
  11. Just ordered the Splinter vs. Baxter set from Target's website. Hopefully, it'll be here Tuesday as scheduled. I could've picked it up at one of my local stores, but the 8 inches of snow still melting on most of the streets around here make that option . . . problematic. Hopefully, I'll find this set as easy.
  12. From the first moment I saw the JSA was gonna have a major role in Stargirl I hoped they'd find a way to do this. Well played CW!* * Never thought I'd be able to say that again.
  13. Real nervous about this one. I mean, this IS Berlanti, and it IS the CW. Then again, its a show about Superman, DC's bread and butter. They wouldn't let them mess with the "S" . . . would they?
  14. I'm just the opposite. Except for the Target Turtles I couldn't care less about Neca, but I'm COMPLETELY attached to this franchise.
  15. These would've gone great with those ridiculously awesome playsets Palisades did back in the day.
  16. My sentiments exactly. Every day, in every way, the world seems to go a little more nuts. Congratulations to Gina though. This is America, neither she nor anyone else should have to work for a company where you're not allowed to speak your mind.
  17. Nope, humans to. Casey, Shredder, the Foot, all are in letter perfect Marvel Legends 1/12th scale.
  18. I've been saying that all along. The really crazy thing though, is Neca ALSO classifies those animated and gaming TMNTs as "7 inch scale," so it could go either way. Pretty sure these will be in true 7 inch, but until I see some in-hand comparison shots, I'll remain hopeful.
  19. As much as I dislike Walmart's shipping practices, I like BBTS' scalper mark-up even less. I'd just as soon wait till they hit brick-n-mortar.
  20. I usually try not to dwell on what I didn't get, but yeah, not getting the Defiant was one of the great disappointments of my life. The Mobile Command Center comes up a distant second.
  21. Sadly, this is turning into a growing trend with Netflix. Snag a played-out franchise, and "expand the story" with a generic, torture porny anime.
  22. Okay, I get the old "Young Heroes Pilot Found Mecha" is one of the more popular tropes in anime/manga, and I've only seen the first Pacific Rim (and that was a while back), but I'm pretty sure Jaegerss didn't work like that.
  23. Another victim of bad timing. Reaction to Covid is crippling businesses left and right. Just so happens THIS business was in the early stages of its rebirth . . . now a funeral.
  24. Working retail is probably a lot like being a cop (danger to life and limb not withstanding). You do your job the best you can, help where you can, but because of the job you do, people are gonna dump on you. Usually, for no reason.
  25. Not that I'm defending Walmart, but it's real easy to say "You're doing it wrong," from the other side of a computer screen. Fact is, things aren't great for anybody right now. But, you know, feel free to complain. I'm sure all those poor b-----ds working retail are just thrilled to hear the constant winning of grown-up men who can't find their toys. It's not like they're trying to keep up with lunatics hoarding toilet paper and hand sanitizer, not to mention making sure true necessities like food and medicine are there when we need them.
