  1. No you don't understand, No figures were mixed together. It's just the bat signal batman with a longer cape. That's all it is. Trust me. I own this figure. It has absolutly no connection to the Attack Armor Batman. Mostly because the Attack Armor Batman has extra articulation in the legs. (Thigh twist and hinge hips) This figure doesn't. Not only that but the neck portion of Attack Armor Batman's cape is smooth, while the Bat Signal Batman has a neck peice that's identical to that of Zip Line Batman's. All this figure is, is a rerelease. It's nothing special. Just a batsignal batman with a darker wash.
  2. Not to mention costume choices. I would personally love to see a NML Batman, but a Bronze Age Batman would be cool too.
  3. Is it the Bat-Signal Batman? Because the neck/shoulder cape piece looks like the Attack Armor Batman's. So is it the Attack Armor batman with Bat-Signal Batman's hands and head? Or is it Bat-Signal Batman with AA Batman's cape piece? If it's Bat-Signal Bat's then the hips aren't hinged and it doesn't have the thigh cuts...but if it's AA Bats he should have the hips hinges and thigh cuts. How much did this cost? Any loose pics of Batman? And if possible could you tell us the UPC barcode number or SKU? Thanks. Nope it's definatly the Bat Signal batman due to the articulation in the legs.. They don't feature the secondary hip joints, or the mid thigh twist. It cost $ 29.99 . I'm not sure what the UPC code is because I paid for it with cash and I didn't keep the reciept.
  4. Nope both the varient and the regular version are TRU Exclusives. But for now it seems like the Batman & Nightwing 2-pack haven't been released as of yet. Or, worst case scenerio, the repainted robin is supposed to be a poor mans version of Nightwing.
  5. It's not a series three bats. It's a rehashed Bat Signal batman (the one that was only sold overseas) with a longer cape. And it sports it's original hands. The Robin is the same re-release from series 1 which was sold way back in 2003. There is a variant of robin that features him in his standard costume colors. I picked up this 2-pack about two days ago. It's really sweet.
  6. I realize that, but technically when Hasbro made the 200th batman fig, they stole the glory form Kenner when they took over the liscence, and even Kenner counted the Mego and Toy Biz batman figures from the 70's and 80's when they produced the 100th Batman fig in 1996.
  7. It seems like we should be nearing the 300th batman figure to ever be produced. Is Mattel honoring this system? I mean it's been awhile since we were given the 200th edition of batman (or Power flight Batman..or whatever it was called) What do you guys think? Should we be getting a figure like this sometime soon?
  8. I like it. The style is kind of reminescent of Mike Wieringo's art from his run on the Sensational series.
  9. No. just hit 'marvel' in the ENI heading and you'll find the database column on the left hand side of your screen
  10. I had similiar luck. I went to my Wal-Mart last night at about 9:00 and there was not a single F4 or ML Surfer figure on the shelves. It was a true dissapointment. Under normal circumstances, my Wal-Mart has been known to carry a very limited number of figures (if they manage to carry something at all) But to see not one toy that's even remotly related to a summer blockbuster that's playing in its opening weekend, seems very lackluster. They didn't even have a upc code or anything. I just couldn't believe my eyes.
  11. and to the room statement from ghost of Razgriz.... actually, I can't think of anything witty. Oh.. so the two of you are serious. Mazeltof!
  12. I caved and purchased 2 Batman Beyonds, and as promised I purchased some red vinyl to use for glider wings. As soon as I can get my sister to loan me her camera, I'll take a few shots of it and show you guys what it looks like
  13. I love the black panther and venom pics. Very cool!
  14. Well you know what I mean, the little set of glider wings that stem from the underside of his arms
  15. Batman beyond really needs his cape. I may have to buy two so I can put a cape on one and leave the other one the way it is.
  16. Do we by any chance have anymore concrete information on that rehashed ML5 "deluxe" silver surfer figure which is supposed to come out this spring? I mean the movie is supposed to be released within the next 2 months isn't it?
  17. Any chance this will be put up on the bay?
  18. I don't think that hasbro would be willing to do something like that, and they are the only people currently holding the Marvel property. It seems like it's a little too late to make a figure set like that. The DD movie came out in 2003, it wasn't considered very good by many marvel fans, and 4 years have passed with no word of a sequel. So i don't think hasbro will make a wave like that.
  19. Do you take commissions? I would love to have a Ben Reilly spider-man like that for myself
  20. Thanks for the assist dude! This helps a lot!
  21. I'm not a big fan of the first appearance head sculpt. specifically because of that smile. It looks ridiculous. And the hush nightwing has a neck line thats much too small for this particular McGuinness sculpt.
  22. Y'know now that Jeff Matsuda is no longer affiliated with The Batman as an Animator, maybe he'll jump ship to this project. After all, he still works for Warner Bros. Television.
  23. Can someone here post a few comparison shots of the Knightfall Nightwing that was released last year, next to the newest McGuinness Nightwing? I just purchased this figure, and I cant say I'm a huge fan of the giant head that this figure sports, so I was hoping to do a little customizing in which I remove the head off of the McGuiness version, dremel down the neck, and then replace it with the head and neck from the Knightfall Nightwing. trouble is I don't own the Knightfall knightwing, and I'm not about to go through with buying it if the custom job wont work in the first place.
