  1. Series 15 is the best series they've ever done, not only character choices but (so far) quality.
  2. I never really checked much for the ML9 variants so that could be why. I didn't want either of them. If toybiz does have to have their stuff off the shelves by January these should be nice and impossible to find, and they better be shipping these FAST if they think they can get them everywhere by the end of the year. We may have another Fantastic Four Classics series 2 with this set, but I highly doubt it. All I know is that I'll be buying these as soon as I see them, and picking up all the variants immediately too. And if they don't seem to be showing up here in Canada I'll be ordering them online. I know Jesse says the variants will be heavy packed, but heavy packed could also mean there's only 1000 cases out there (doubtful? Sure.) and 500 them are variant cases. It could also mean that they're 1 in 100 ratio or something else equally idiotic. I don't really...take everything Jesse says for 100% anymore, not that he's lying but that he's been wrong. He said Fantastic Four Classics 2 would show up at retail, and a few other things I think.
  3. Well that's great considering I never saw the series 9 variants for any less than over priced. I'll probably end up buying the variants in this set at marked up prices.
  4. Which part of Upstate NY? Any Bobby variants left?
  5. No kidding, eh man? I figured first reply. I'm almost indifferent on which ones better...the sculpt for long haired is nice, but I kind of like the jacket. It is a tough decision.
  6. SOMEONE MENTIONED KING OF THE HILL YES. I tell you what that show be nothing but prime example of comedy at its finest Bobby. It was the fishing episode the other day, awesome. I talked to some dude the other day at Wal-Mart in Michigan and he sounded like the fast talking dude, I can't spell his name. Now that I'm off topic enough.
  7. Where's the site or what is the address?
  8. BUT BUT BUT HEH AS TO HAVE THEM NOW!! @cry@ @cry@ @cry@ I saw your lame post it reminded me of Dr. Cox on Scrubs. I could just imagine him saying something like that to J.D. 10. Which Toys R Us was that? Sheridan Dr and Nia Falls Blvd. They had left 3 Colussus, 1 Avalanche, Ult Sabretooth, Nightcrawler and Iceman Any ML14 in Buffalo yet?
  11. What are these? I don't want to waste a slot if these are US only or something.
  12. I got the Nextwave Volume 1 Hardcover, Fables Volumes 6 & 7 , and Captain America Volumes 1 & 2 Hardcovers (Brubaker series). Didn't see ANY of this weeks comics.
  13. Sal; Gotta agree with you man on a lot of points. I didn't get that bad of line ups cause I got there about 10 but they need to stop this ridiculous line up to get in. It literally went from the main entrance, around the escalator, and then THREE LANES in that big football sized empty area (you probably saw it...back from the main entrance. The completely empty one that wasn't being used. FOR NOTHING. Nice use of space.) It did seem more crowded, and I liked the old spot too. The light was nice and I knew it a lot better. Plus it seemed way bigger up there but I suppose more and more people keep finding out about it. And yes, the horror convention took up A LOT of room and so did the stupid video games. What a total waste of space that was. They should have each of the 3 in seperate rooms. Or atleast anime/comics together and then have horror/sci-fi/games and all the G4 lounges together.
  14. Funny thing is, I'm not that fond of Bendis, but I'd be even LESS interested if any of those four writers were on the book. They all tend to mire themselves in continuity, write confusing plots that go nowhere, and tend to over-extrapolate. Now, I in fact liked Busiek's Avengers (although it feels dated and a little forced these days), and currently pick up She-Hulk and Legion. Thunderbolts I only flip through to see if anyone I like has died that month; I lost interest in that one ages ago. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to bash writers you like, I'm just disagreeing that any of those gentlemen would be good choices for an Avengers book, based largely on what I see them putting out now. I'll agree on the Legion plots not making much sense. That books really confusing jumping on anywhere but the beginning. Anything else Waid has done hasn't be confusing. Slotts plots generally aren't that dense but they're usually interesting. That probably has more to do with the fact that he's been on nothing but comedy books. I don't see how Nicieza's plots go nowhere though; I find Thunderbolts has a continuous moving plot that has rarely been confusing. I read it all in trades, though. All of their problems stack up to far less than the problems Bendis has writing any Marvel hero other than the street level ones. I can't think of any other writers that aren't DC exclusives that would be good on the book other than the 5 I listed. JMS would wreck it a million ways by the 5th issue. Millar would make it WAY too political. I haven't read a lot of Mike Carey's stuff but from what I have read, I've enjoyed it a lot. Whether or not he'd be good on a team book like Avengers I can't say. I haven't read X-Men. Peter Milligan is hit or miss, but based on X-Men this would be another miss. Peter David has X-Factor (which I actually find REALLY boring). Charlie Huston is the last person I'd put on a team book; I like Moon Knight but I've found that it spends way too much time going nowhere. The 5 issue arc that's going on now could have been done in about 3 issues.
