  1. Hasbro has definately killed the line with all the recycling and crappy sculpts not to mention trying to create new lines (like the movie line and resolute) without fixing the old one first. My interest went from buying 2 figures each, 1 mint on card and 1 lose down to buying none at all. I now pass the gijoe section all together at this point. What i dont understand is how the 80's figures all had original sculpts and weapons but in the new millenium (where technology has advanced aswell as sculpting and manufactureing) they use the same molds over and over again. Its ridiculous! doesnt Hasbro realize that doing this loses them money in the long run?
  2. The only reason i said Billy Blanks (AS A BACK UP) was because he looks more like panthro and would at least have the martial arts to back up his lack of talent unlike Tyrese who would bring nothing to the table accept "i wanna see my son evette!!" but the ideal panthero would be Mike Duncan
  3. The problem with that is, Mattel wont cash in on #$@# because its come to a point where people cant afford $20 plus shipping for a shitty old school he-man figure. The new MOTU stactions gave us a reason to pay $20 with theyre unbelievable sculpts and the fact that it was the only way to finish the new line that people had already started collecting. And it was also more acceptable to pay more money since it was coming from another company NECCA who had to borrow the liscense from MATTEL (the #$#$# company that ruined the lines progress in the first place) just so we were able to finish off our collections. I dont know about the rest of you but i dont plan on buying these $20 plus shipping unneccessary figures only for #$## face MATTEL to cut the line short leaving me with 4 really expensive figures and another UNFINISHED collection for the SECOND time around!!! Its only a matter of time before this new line gets cancelled because of DUMB #$## MATTEL'S rediculous prices and shitty distribution, which they will again blame on peoples lack of interest in the line which was never the case. Mark my words collectors and scalper alike the toy market is soon to crash and hit another depression.
  4. Its a cute i dea and all for them to do the classics line. But its not fair that we dont get what we really want which is articulated 2002 series MOTU figures when full articulation is more realative to the new series than the old one. The new series should've been fully articulated from the start especially since marvel legends were around when the new series first came out. Perhaps if Mattel payed any attention to what actually sells a toy than they would've done that from the begining and Motu would've never been cancelled. Why are they just now getting it through theyre ##$%$#ed @##@@ heads that articulation, sculpts, paint apps, and actual characters (not variants) are what sells a successful toy line? Playmates still hasn't learned that lesson which is why everyone is now buying all they're ninja turtle figures from NECCA instead of them. And how is it that the company who set the precedent for action figures (TOYBIZ) is out of business? if not for TOYBIZ actionfigures would probly be extinct because the only thing that was selling was and probly always will be is transformers.
  5. Yeah Jim Carey is a no (i couldnt think of anyone else). But the "ROCK" however is more than perfect for the role, his physique, his voice and facial structure is all identical to lion-o. The only thing he's missing is the hair which is what makeup and movie magic is for.
  6. The whole point of makeing a cartoon into a "MOVIE" is for it to be live action. Otherwise whats the point? if its not live action than it'll just be a long ass episode with possible (but highly unlikely) rated R material. There are only certain types of cartoons that can get away with cartoon movies and its only for shows like the "SIMPSONS", "SOUTHPARK", "FAMILY GUY" and "FUTURERMA". And its only because they will make use of new found ability to show nudity, bloodshed and curseing. A cartoon like "THUNDERCATS" and "HEMAN" have no use to show nudity, bloodshed and curseing unless its live action.
  7. I beg the casting director no ghetto thundercats please, tyrese does not have the acting ability to pull off any thundercat role unless the character comes from the hood!!! He"s 1 dimentional and can only play roles like he did in "baby boy" which is the same way he acted in "transformers" but with different dialogue. Dont ruin this movie like Transformers was and like Gijoe is going to be. Micheal Clarke duncan is more than qualified to play panthro aswell as Billy Blanks. Do not use inappropriate actors just becasuse they are thought to be up and coming.
  8. What do you think of this as the cast for the thundercats movie? lion-o: Dwayne the Rock Johnson cheetara: Tea Leoni tygra: Hugh Jackman panthro: Michael Clark duncan or Billy Blanks (pending voice and height) wilykit: Melissa Mclntyre (degrassi) wily kat: Adomo Ruggiero (degrassi) jaga: Morgan Freeman bengali: Jay Hernandez lynxo: Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa pumyra: mya (singer) snarf: jim henson animatronics (no cgi) ma-mutt: jim henson animatronics (no cgi) mumm-ra: Raoul Trujillo (apocalypto) ssslith: monkian: Lee Arenberg jackalman: Mackenzie Crook vultureman:
  9. These figure are sooooo @##@@ piontless and awful. Hasbro has to be the worse company ever, i really wish they would melt down all these 12" pieces of #$@# along with all the stupid ass variants like scuba baroness and give me something usful like "THE FLAGG", "TERRORDOME" or how about something new like the motherfucking "B.E.T." The only Hasbro related thing worth buying at this point are the Masterpice transformers and thats not even from Hasbro because theyre too stupid to produce anything good. I'll take takara over Hasbro any day
  10. Hasbro has become the downfall of the entire toy market. They ruined Marvel Legends which created a domino effect. All Hasbro cares about is capitalizeing on a good product and than sucking it dry. They bought out Marvel Legends and than took away paint apps, articulation, comic books, new characters and our ability to continue collecting MOC due to their idiotic packaging. And than to add insult to injury they charge more $$MONEY$$ for an inferior product. The same goes with the Gijoes only they already owned the liscense. The Gijoes started off great! they were affordable, collectible and available. But as soon as Hasbro seen some success from the line what do they do?...they #$## it up as usual. As soon as Gijoe gained some momentum the #$## ups at Hasbro ruin another line yet again by reusing molds, producing pointless variations, changing/cheapening the packaging and than charging yet again more @##@@ $$MONEY$$ for an inferior product. Its really become sickening that they feel as though they can charge more money just because the line has become successful. I understand the concept of supply and demand but what Hasbro fails to realize is that the demand only comes from affordable products, if people cant afford it than they wont...hell CANT buy it. So the only one losing in the end is Hasbro. That is until they destroy another company (TOYBIZ) so they can steel all of they're successful toy lines and then run them into the ground to.
  11. Can someone please list all the vehicles that only appeared in the origonal cartoon(1985-1994) for me.
