  1. Hello customizing world of TNI. After a long hiatus of not posting any of my work in a public forum, I'm starting again. I have still been customizing in between my life events. Enough of the, let's get to "The Shredder"! I found myself in a Wal-Mart looking for who knows what when I found a whole untouched brand new display of the new "Ninja Turtles" movie toys. They looked better than original photos and news coverage had shown. Shredder was far and wide the best of all of them. However he was still a two-tone flat grey. I bought him and using the better part of a day off (and some Rockstar 2x that I also randomly found) I bestowed upon him all of the metallic details his sculpt deserved. Shredder was hand painted using various acrylic paints and techniques to bring his movie toy sculpt to life. I used some black washes to get the recesses of the gears and some of the armor pieces as well as white highlights for the blade edges. His arms were also painted in a basic white male sort of way since William Fichtner is playing Shredder in the upcoming movie. With his menacing new appearance, perhaps it will be time for turtle soup. I don't think that line is going to make the movie. Thanks for looking, and I'll be back with more figures in the near future
  2. I just saw this thread. It is a shame because I have just found time to start sharing my work again and would have liked to contribute to this.
  3. I would buy new versions of spider-man, wolverine, etc....IF, they were good. Like the 2-pack body of hulk later this year, yes I want it. When Hasbro did the Red Hulk wave, I was on top of the wolverine and spider-man. I will not however completely support a ML line that would mimic DCUC. Too many of them are the same thing over and over again. Yes we can argue that Toybiz and Hasbro did that too, but at least we got very different head, hands, etc, that made it feel like a different figure all over again. but it will also come down to the articulation. That is the biggest reason I'm not into DCUC. I don't like their articulation.
  4. yeah those are all super awesome and exceed any expectation. Great work on the amazon. You did him more than justice!
  5. FLIPPIN SWEET! I like the style they are done with
  6. those are awesome! I always look at captain cold and think iceman
  7. whoa, I never thought about the 6" protos of iron man villains for two packs when the movie comes out. sign me up. I'd pay the 2-pack price for crimson dynamo and a titanium man. I know I could find a use for the extra iron man figures i'd get. Plus don't forget the 2 pack voting thingamajig that hasbro did. We will at least get Deadpool, valkyrie, and black widow, +3 others. ML is not dead, its just geriatric and gets on shelves sllllllllooooooowly and then disapears. Then creeps back. Like a creepy old stalker, i.e. the family guy pedophile.
  8. Most people were close enough. I gave it to them if they said "The other guy from the wolverine movie" I did not get one vampire mix up, so I was stoked
  9. Here is my movie Sabretooth costume.
  10. First, I'm a Marvel Legends fan. For better or worse, it got me into collecting and customizing. I thought Hasbro was doing a solid with the Ares/Red Hulk waves, and then nadda. Nemesis came and went w/o me even seeing one on the shelf. I do like the new two packs and will buy any others i can find. I would be happy with a solid wave of two-packs a year, and 2 online exclusive releases like they did with Sunfire. No more store exclusives, they have crappy distribution. Universe, while is an ok concept, I can't get into paying more for a small figure to restart a collection than when ML first came out. Plus I'm not a fan of the articulation.
  11. Here is a new one for you! KINNIKUMAN!!!
  12. rented it on my ppv for $4 bucks. it was worth watching. I've been hopped up on pain meds from having my wisdom teeth removed, but I thought it was interesting enough to go look for the book and read it now. I'm not the biggest dcuc collector, but I'll just go look at target in the morning and make a decision. thanks for the heads up on release date though.
  13. great work churichuro! I especially like bruce lee's buddies in the background. the best part, how masterfully you handled the yellow
  14. Mission Complete. Its allright Guile, you'll eventually get your time to shine.
  15. What would a Street Fighter figure be, w/o action shots?
  16. awesome iron mike! spot on! can't wait to see whats next
  17. Here is the first one I did using the X-3 Colossus. Details are with apoxie sculpt.
  18. So seeing how many Deadpool customs there are, I wanted to start giving back the Weapon X program's legacy with some other figures. The beginning of my crusade, Garrison Kane. Here is Garrison Kane 2.0 Kane v 2.0 is: ML Mr. Sinister body TNA Impact Sting head
  19. Here is Fighter from 8-Bit Theater w/ Dr. Swordopolis first time I think I've made a base for a figure. It is freaking time consuming! The avatar of all things sword is a scratch built frankenstein of things that were in a pain in my backside...however I approve of how it came out. Fighter was primarily a Shrek prince charming.
  20. I voted constrictor, havok, and fantomex but honestly...I'm just happy to have Marvel Legends to waste my money on...
  21. and one of the walmarts doesnt have them. They have old ares wave up, but not the new one. so this is lame. so much for so. cal people right
  22. very awesome work. I was really impressed when I read it was 4" scale. So detailed it looks larger.
  23. Death Defying Devil (variant) So here is Project Superpowers Death Defying Devil in his "old school" (snicker) yellow and blue colors. Since I previously did him in his red and blue, I guess that defaults him to the variant.
