  1. Yea, I was at CVS on friday and they had about 15 figures on "1" hook. I was really suprised to see that many at one time there.
  2. Because they look fantastic!!!!! HUH? Have you seen SNAKE EYES? Bro, he looks like C3PO from EPISODE 1!
  3. What I dont understand is "WHY" Hasbro killed off 2 lines to create an entirely new one. I mean, Hasbro has how many sizes when it comes to STAR WARS (they currently have 4 sizes) but they canT give us a choice when it comes to GI JOE?
  4. Im going to sit back and watch Hasbro kick themselves in the ass again........ lets "rewind" a decade earlier when HASBRO announces that it was killing the 3 3/4" craze in order to keep up with the current action figure line of 5" figures. one year later: GI JOE SS & EXTREME were both canceled because they tried to jump on the bandwagon a bit too late. Ok, 2005....Lets make the same mistake that we did 10 years ago and cancel the 3 3/4" line so we can compete with the new 8"/animi line!!! WE WILL MAKE ZILLIONS OF DOLLARS!!!! Can we say DE JA VU? its funny how 40 years ago, HASBRO created not only a well known line, but a whole entirely new genre for boys and now, they are no longer the leader and must compete with the lesser knowns. WAY TO GO, HASBRO!!! @rolleye@ Let me say that the people that buy GI JOE are not only the collectors, but are parents that buy thier children GI JOE also. In case HASBRO didnt know, many people in this country are still a bit "tight" when it comes to funds and dishing out an extra $10 for a bigger figure aint going to cut it.
  5. does anyone think that JAMES DESIMONE may have an answer for us?
  6. I found a hidden stash a month ago and scored 13 VOTC STORMTROOPERS for $2.44 each.
  7. I'm sure well get those in the US soon.....
  8. Yo, this is the funniest thing Ive seen in a long time! I actually thought I was watchin the real movie! 2 thumbs up!
  9. hey, on a side note, there some chain of mall stores on long island called "cookie wookie" that sells....well..."cookies" and I wonder if Lucas will find time to sue them. hey, if luke skywalker and the 2 live crew got sued for it, so should this cookie kiosk!
  10. just tell yourself that your coming to long island then!
  11. I guess you werent at the james desimone show on the intrepid years ago?
  12. well, just like all other figures, they can "adjust" the size of the bubble to accommadate the figure inside. btw, who says were getting another Gamorrean Guard? Is one even necesassary so soon?
  13. Im glad many of us dislike this guy as much as me. I hope to meet him at the convention so I can personally kick his ass, NY style.
  14. Is the PHILIP WISE that owns/runs the website http://www.rebelscum.com/ the same as the one who runs the C2 VENTURES? http://www.starwars.com/community/news/200...ws20050124.html
  15. I had said this before an another site and I will say it here........ they should have just released "1" set with both TOMAX & XAMOT. Now parents that wont know the difference will but just "1" because frankly, both sets are IDENTICAL except for the minor difference in the TOMAX/XAMOT figure. But I dont think any parent will care. Its just HASBRO's way of "stickin it to us" once again. Now we have to buy the "2nd" set just for one figure. what a waste.
  16. I found the cartoon clones last month on long island.
  17. MY WOOKIE LOOKS FINE TO ME. AS FOR SIZE, HEY........IF HUMANS CAN BE OBESE, WHY NOT WOOKIES?
  18. Long island walmarts got them in last week.
