Here's some old Toy Biz figures in a new Xmen Vs. Avengers photo, I entered in a contest: http://ifanboy.com/articles/vote-now-avengers-vs-x-men-playtimes-over-contest-finalists-revealed/ Please vote for my entry (Match C: The assassination of Charles Xavier) because voting ends tomorrow at midnight EST and I'm barely losing by a few votes! Thanks!

...and then there's Maude!

I've never seen one sign of any of these at any Wal-mart I have ever been to since Wal-mart quit carrying the DCSH line long ago.

I only have these three photos I took of her when I got the figures last September, but they only show her with other DC Direct figures, including the other Justice figures, JLA Adam Strange and the IC Hawkman.

You know how he has to have a cameo in everything!

I agree, I don't really like the lack or articulation or fragile quality and scale oddities of the DC Direct figures, but this set has a lot of nice sculpts and probably most people won't display them in action poses anyway, but rather, standing on their bases. I could have done without the armored wave, but overall this has been one of my favorite DCD waves, along with the Hush series.

Wow! That would be terrible! If you want to cast a perfect Catwoman, I have two words for you... Angelina Jolie! Nuff said! I second that motion!

It turned out to be a nice figure. I also got the DCD Dark Knight Joker figure (and ordered the Hot Toys DK Joker that's coming out again in December), thinking I would get the comic one just to go with my comic DCD 13" villains and Batman but would not like him. Turns out he is pretty good. I didn't like the wandering eye that much, but I added some red and black to his eyes and they look better to me now. Here are some photos I took with the factory paint job: and after touching the eyes up:

One of the belt loops on my Bizarro has already come loose on the top. I guess these were meant to be displayed and never actually posed more than once.

I took some of mine:

The good thing about him not looking any different from King Kong, though, is that you can just get a King Kong and pretend it is Grodd.
-
I was out of the comics loop too, so I bought the hard cover compilation of all the Marvel Zombie issues and it was a nice purchase. Inspired me to do these:

Yeah after your bored with sex and drugs it's back to the action figures! I hear ya brother! Anyone remember when Downey was a crackhead? Ah the good ol' days. @loll@ Yep! Pretty much. (Except that doesn't happen at least until your late 30s to 40s...)

Maybe he just meant that adolescent period when you should start being delighted by other things and then once you have transitioned to adulthood, you can go back to action figures after your mid to late twenties.

Which is a better Sabertooth Face Off or Series 5?
Brebro replied to SpidermanClassics's topic in Marvel
I like both, but prefer the face of the ML5 one. The AOA one is too small and the XMC one looks like Jethro Bodine, plus he has that stupid action feature in his back. -
Don't forget those "Death of Gwen Stacy" bookends, that is sort of a statue!

I found a red one at Target this week: clik2Nlarge

Those were the ONLY Mini-mates I ever bought:

You can do a lot with just those two things: But yeah, I like him better than the DC Direct one because he DID come with a mind control thingy and was NOT stuck yelling forever and was bigger. The articulation is just as sparse as the DCD one though, too bad.

Here are some examples of those adhesive-backed L.E.D. lights I have used on some parts of my collection: Dot-It Lights uses for Action Figure lighting

Thanks all! There are more pictures here: Iron Man Armory photos, you pick a Stark!. For the armory wall, I just used a CD organizer stand that I got from FYE free after rebate and slid some long, narrow sheets of glass shelves I found in between some of the slots and put a long mirror behind it. Then I just set that up in the warehouse diorama I had already built previously and added some more computer looking props to make it more of a lab.

Haha, yeah, that's him all right. I just gave him a hair cut.

Like I said earlier, you can get this for $65. Still not cheap, but not $80 at least.
