  1. I decided to redo all of my previous Ultraverse customs after making my Ultraverse Prime custom. First up to get the 2.0 treatment is Atom Bob. Recipe: Marvel Legends Spider-Man UK base body; Bullseye biceps, knees, and upper part of the lower legs; Moon Knight forearms, boots, and feet; White suit Ironfist hands; ML Havok and DCUC Superman red heads. The power effect pieces are from Can of Beams.
  2. Thank you very much. Prime was a fun read, and I really liked Norm Breyfogle's art in the books.
  3. This is my second custom of favorite Ultraverse character Prime, but this time in his final form. The base body is the Caliban BAF. The head is a Hyperion casting that I got glassman customs to enlarge good while back. I did have to re-sculpt the back of the head/hair a little, and fit it to the body using my Dremel and o-rings. I also added some epoxy behind the ears until it was enlarged I never noticed how thin the Hyperion ears were. The hands are from 1/6th scale Deadpool that I bought off eBay which worked out great, but I did have to thicken the peg with superglue and baking soda. The feet are from a Marvel Select Colossus. To make the smaller feet look right I had to Dremel down the lower legs. I used styrene and epoxy to sculpt the armor, gauntlets, and boots. I used Caliban's wristbands as a base for the gauntlets, so they are still removable. I ordered the cape off of eBay it was listed to be for the Storm Mortal Kombat Shao Kahn. I attached the cape by I embedding magnets into the shoulders, and gluing some magnets to the cape. This way the cape can be removable. For the tattoo and arm hair created the graphics in photoshop and printed them on clear backed waterslide paper. To get the waterslide decals to conform to the arm used micro set and micro sol. I really took my time with this second Prime. It's Prime Time!
  4. Thanks This was a fun project, and Wonder Man is one of my favorite characters. I hope his recent death in the comics doesn't stick for that long.
  5. Oh here is a quick update to Wonder Man I decided to make two alternative heads from him.
  6. Wonder Man A little while back I revamped my original Wonder Man custom after that another collector contacted me about making one for him, and I was happy to do so for him. On this Wonder Man I wanted to try something a little different with the "W" emblem on his chest and back. Instead of having it flat painted or raised I made it where the "W" is sunk in with a reversed embossed look. I also sculpted the collar, re-sculpted top of the lower legs, and filled in all the peg holes. The belt is made from a rubber band, and the arm bands and belt buckle are made with styrene. The body is a WWE elite figure, and the Aquaman head is a casting from casting cave. Finally I finished him up with a full paint job. Let me know what you all think
  7. This was my second custom action figure, and still one of my favorites. I've always liked the Cyclops' Astonishing costume, but didn't like how small the HML Astonishing Cyclops was, so I tried to make one myself. For the torso and shoulders I used a DCUC Black Hand which I re-sculpted the chest and back to eliminate the Black Lantern logo and fill in the cape peg hole. The belt, waist, and upper legs are from DCUC Jemm, and the lower legs are from DCUC Blue Beetle. The head and feet are from the ML Series 10 Cyclops, and the biceps, elbows, and hands are from a ML Series 10 Angel. I also sculpted the bands on the wrist and ankles. After that was the paint job. Recipe: Head and feet ML Series 10 Cyclops, Biceps, forearms, and hands ML Series 10 Angel, Shoulders, upper and mid torso DCUC Black hand, Waist, belt, and thighs DCUC Jemm, Shins DCUC wave 7 Blue Beetle.
  8. Hello everyone. I started customizing action figures around a year ago. Before all I've ever worked on was kitbashing Transformers building model cars. The Thing figure was my first attempt at customizing an action figure. At the time I've seen several people use this recipe, and I really like how this recipe looks for the Thing. This Thing is made from: ML Series 2 Thing Head, upper, and mid torso; and Thunder Launch Thing's arms, legs, and waist. I may end up revisiting this custom with repainting all the rocky skin texture.
