  1. Or maybe a young woman has as much to learn about love, life, wisdom and maturity as an young man might. To be blunt and candid at the same time, some at the transition ages 17-22 or so is still casting off the baggage of teenage/child-age years and still learning about the powers and responsibilities of adulthood. The influence of "self" in others lives can be intoxicating for some, as can be the confusion about the place of "self" in life in general. Not everyone accquires the tools to manage this at the same time--hence, some people behave in pretty odd ways around others. This includes taking someone for granted, who hold complete infatuation for a person. Best rule of thumb for love: if someone is interested in you, they'll be interested, no convincing required. You cannot change their minds in your favour, you cannot influence them much-so its a waste of energy to do so--all you CAN do is reveal who you are and see if they react to that. The metaphor is like fishing--if they bite, you just have to reel them in--but they have to bite first. The greatest successes I've had in relationships came when I stopped worrying about them--when I stopped trying to be something for someone else and simply became someone for me. Maybe they call that confidence, maybe its serenity or even inner peace, but it sure opened doors. Right, and some women are just attention whores who get satisfaction from using others. Not all, some. Same with either gender.

  3. Is that a Canadian thing? @smilepunch@

  5. *waits for RC Rika to be politically correct* @smilepunch@ DISCLAIMER: THIS POST MIGHT HURT YOUR FEELINGS OR OFFEND YOU. PLEASE LOOK AWAY IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO READ. Some women are just attention whores who get satisfaction from using others. ...or it could just be her period... @hmmm@

  7. http://adctalk.com/index.php?showtopic=1989549 @smilepunch@ Try to stay alive for another.
  8. Transformers/robots kick ass. It's also a hobby.People tell me it's lame, as opposed to their hobbies (practicing the dark arts, slowly drinking themselves to death, getting someone/themselves knocked up, doing drugs, obsessing over sports/clothes/appearance, ect.)
  9. @loll@ do your parents allow you to see each other?? Or can either of you drive to the other person's house?? this Romeo and Juliet thing is sooo cute @loll@ i dont care about what my parents think.... @hmmm@ #US1# my little sister used to act like you, always acting cool, and disrespecting my parents, then my dad died, and she still hasnt forgiven herself. take that into consideration before you disrespect your only reason for being alive, or hell the only reason you have a computer. k oyu dont get what i am saying. My father is a abusive #$### with no life and likes to take things out on me.... my mom just dosnt care... and BTW i am at school ATM Could you describe your relationship? "abusive #$### with no life" doesn't really stop one from thinking that you're just trying to be rebellious. Abusive as in he makes you do homework, gives you a curfew, smacks you when you talk back, and doesn't let you hang out with the cool kids?
  10. Cybertron comes out during the Summer I think...
  11. The way I grew up was basically with my mom and step-dad. She got re-married and my step-dad was pretty cool. At times things were hard but they did everything in their power to make sure I had a future ahead of me. As annoying they can get, I'm still thankful for what they've done. I'll never understand how kids today go through with all these rebellious, in your face, icandowhatiwant, attitudes.
  12. I really don't have much interest in the japanese series. I'v seen a few episodes of Headmasters/Masterforce dubbed, but it just didn't appeal to me.
  13. If you're going to get The big Prime, I'd say just wait for the Cybertron edition and get something else now.

  16. Wasn't it Realy Realy Big Man? it was, with his nipples that could let you see into the future, god that was such a screwed up show to children I'm nauseous... I'm nauseous... That was a hoot!
  17. from the picture i posted that day, (assuming it will be the box art) Perceptor was holding two guns. And one gun was different from the other, possibly a transformable gun, so could that be the targetmaster version? I wouldn't know actually, what's the difference between the targetmaster one and the normal one? The different versions have a size difference in their hand holes for their weapons. I think TM HotRods holes are bigger since the handle of the nebulon is bigger than that of the original guns.
