DC Multiverse Outsells Marvel Legends In 2021?!?
Hordak Rules replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
All I can say is the places I frequent pretty much run out of ML right away while the DC stuff just sits on the shelf. I also don't have any faith in McFarlane to give us figures we want. I'm still sitting on the same JL Animated figures from the launch and haven't had any more. Marvel and Hasbro just seem to give me a lot more fill of what I want. -
Masters Of The Universe Q-Figs Coming From QMx
Hordak Rules replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
Yeah! Another line of Q-Figs that will NEVER show up in Canada and if they do will be ridiculously expensive -
Finally a serious looking Braun Strowman. Just in time for him to be released from the company.

I've enjoyed the series, albeit for a couple hang-ups (didn't like season one ending so abruptly and season two had a few too many things happening) however I am looking forward to season three. Hoping it still shows up on Netflix in Canada.

New Superman Animated Series Coming To HBO Max
Hordak Rules replied to JayC's topic in Entertainment News
Probably a pass for me. Animation looks a lot like the new She-ra cartoon, which never did much for me. Never against them doing new versions, but if I'm not a fan of the animation, then I just don't watch. -
New McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse Listings Discovered
Hordak Rules replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
I know right? They announced that Dr Fate figure the other day and I was excited only to realize it's an Injustice figure. Can't we even just get a normal one first? -

DC Multiverse 7" Batman Beyond From McFarlane Toys Revealed!?!
Hordak Rules replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
What do you think you're doing? Asking for characters that have nothing to do with Batman? You'd think this was a line of toys for DC comics or something with your suggestions.- 48 replies

Amazon Developing 'The Boys' Spinoff
Hordak Rules replied to Outsiders's topic in Entertainment News
For those of you that have read the books, it sounds like a bit of Teenage Kix. For those you that haven't read the books, read the books. -
Undertaker started with the WWE in 1990. His first Wrestlemania was #7 against Jimmy Snuka and he's been in every Wrestlemania since save for two, Wrestlemania 10 and Wrestlemania 16, both of which he was out with injuries. He's 21-1, having actually wrestled 19 other competitors. He wrestled Albert and Big Show in a handicapped match at Wrestlemania 19 and he's wrestled HBK and Kane twice and HHH three times. Incidently, Lesnar is live on RAW right now. Doesn't seem too fired to me.

Huzlers is nothing but a gossip site that usually only posts lies, so don't read anything into what they say. Vince actually didn't talk to any reporters last night (not that he actually would). Vince missed the main event because he traveled to the hospital with Taker and his wife. Also, Lesnar didn't have the control to win the match. The ref is the one that made the count. I really will love to see where they go with this because I agree that I don't think Lesnar was the best choice to end the streak. Maybe 2002/2003 Lesnar might been, not now. I couldn't believe it myself. My girlfriend actually had to grab my attention and make me notice it. She said "It's over, Undertaker lost" and I just replied "What?" and looked at the screen in shock. Personally, I think someone like Bray Wyatt or one of the Shield guys should have gotten the win. Give the victory to someone they can build on, not to someone like Lesnar who really only has a couple of good years left in him (if that).

X2 is probably still my favorite comic book movie. There is something about that movie that still holds up to this day. I was totally let down by X-Men Last Stand and the Wolverine movies were never up to the same standards either. X-Men First Class renewed my faith that the X-Men movies could still be good and I'm looking forward to X-Men DOFP.

I'll have to keep an eye out for Fangman. Nothing much else there that I really would want.

I managed to pick up both Modulok and Glimmer. LOVE the Modulok figure. Definitely in my top 5 favorite toys. Glimmer is great too. She rounds out my She-ra/Bow/Glimmer set, which I consider to be the 3-main good guys from She-ra (Adora as well). I know everyone gets impatient for their figures when ordering online, but I've since just started buying mine in my local store. It's slightly more expensive, but in the end I don't have to worry about duty anymore and I can cherrypick.

What figure are you looking forward to most in 2014?
Hordak Rules replied to SKYWARP's topic in Masters of the Universe
Really hoping I can pick up a Modulok. It will complete my original Evil Horde. I'd jump at Two Badd if I found him for the right price. -
I would love a Seahawk, but alas subs only. I found that my DC Direct Trinity Ra's fits in well with my DC Classic, so no loss there. Everything else is garbage in my opinion. Ra's' bio on the Matty site is awful: "Ra's Al Ghul, aka The Demon's Head, wants to keep it all in the family after daughter Talia Al Ghul has a son with Bruce Wayne, but his desire to make the crime fighter his heir is second to his desire to eliminate most of humanity. Brilliant physician and proud owner of unique facial hair, this criminal mastermind is one of the deadliest and smartest villains ever to face off with Batman™. The deadly doctor finally arrives in the DC Universe lineup as a 6" figure with his signature scimitar and a non-removable cape."

I managed to order Mantenna and the Horde Troopers. The site went down during checkout, which freaked me out. I refreshed a bunch and got through. Shipping again was $30, which is ridiculous. I could have waited and tried to find them at a con or in a store, but I just didn't want to pay double or triple what they were going for on the site.

They got tired of pushing him down our throats when that didn't work they gave him a heel turn only now he's even less entertaining. You must be kidding yourself if you think Vince ever gets tired of shoving things down our throats. I thought the Punk/Heyman/Lesnar segment was fantastic. I'm also glad they're starting to put Orton back on the road to being a heel. I had to mute the TV when the Bellas started talking. Luckily, they're interesting to look at in silence. What the hell are they doing with Dolph? The guy was at the height of popularity a month ago and he's jobbing to Big E?

Would you care if the line dies. Why or why not?
Hordak Rules replied to Doom Saber's topic in Masters of the Universe
For some time I was getting very comfortable collecting the line. I'd buy the figures I wanted and though they'd take a while to get, I never had any issues and I was actually happy. Then Mattel decided that they would not only raise the price of the figures, but they'd pretty much double the cost of shipping to Canada as well. That was pretty much it for me. I spent cost to $70 on Ram Man and Jitsu and it was nearly that much for shipping as well. I love the toyline, but until Mattel gets their heads out of their asses (which will NEVER happen), I'm done collecting MOTUC. Which sucks because I'd love some Horde Troopers, a Two-Bad, Mantenna, Modulok and a fair few others. A number of the Filmation characters really interest me as well. I still don't have Fisto or Stinkor either. -
How Would You Rank The SDCC Reveals?
Hordak Rules replied to DarthJoe's topic in Masters of the Universe
I agree though I would add the Horde Troopers. However, 6 good figures can't justify a year's subscription for me. Shipping costs are just too insane as well. -
2013 SDCC: Mattel Presents: Mattypalooza 2013 Panel
Hordak Rules replied to Wheeljack35's topic in Masters of the Universe
Horde Troopers are something that Mattel could put in their store full time and they would sell. Constantly. This just proves the fact that Mattel has no interest in this line actually succeeding.
