  1. I count Rock N Roll's MG more as an MG-42 than an M60.... Don't get me started on the Resolute Commander's "Luger" with clip in the wrong place...
  2. I think the gun is more based on this: But the original did not have a side folding butt-stock. that makes 3 German WWII weapons so far for the 25th line..
  3. Awesome work. I wish Hasbro would have done something like this.... I like the Corrected Boots...those ones on the Comic pack are terrible...and the Triangular Bandage is actually the right size, instead of the hankie the big H gave us.
  4. The design team said in their presentation that Yes he would come with his bellows.
  5. He was definately a hand painted copy or prototype. Some body pointed out to me at the con that the Maj Blood in the Desert Pack is the one a lot of fans wanted...Hisstank Driver Torso and different (non-zartan) legs.
  6. They mentioned during the Slide Show that he was colored to blend with the Mamba Helicopter. It is a very impressive figure in person. I personally think it is overly Busy...a tad bit more so than the Snow Serpent, but I am ok with it... The helmet and Hoses are very nice. It was not until the figure was in the case that I realized he had Fins strapped to the back of his legs. If they are going to create new viper/cobra troopers, I think this one is a decent start. I actually like the helmet net of the Bazooka Viper too(even though he comes with an RPG...not a bazooka)
  7. Even better painted Initially I was 100% against cross overs, but if it keeps the line vibrant, pulls in more collectors, then I am ok with it, if it is going to cause an entire revamp of the Joe-ni-verse to Forcably shoe horn them in, I might not be as excited. I can think of a dozen figures I would rather have than half of every wave thus far (and I'm sure everyone else can too, and perhaps not for the same figures) but that just means we'll get them later or I'll learn how to customize. I'll have to see what Kenner/Hasbro has done to see what cross-overs. I agree with Arrow above, any and All incarnations of Joe over the last 40+ years would be great. I'd love a 25th Style/Scaled Adventure Team for sure.
  8. The guys at Jedidefender.com got a scoop from their Target source about various lines and this was in the GI Joe Section... thoughts? http://www.jedidefender.com/yabbse/index.php?topic=2481.1365 087-06-0441 joe vehicle 14.99 087-06-0904 joe battlepack 19.99 087-06-1092 rhino vehicle w/fig 24.99 087-06-2047 joe large vehicle 24.99 087-06-2067 joe ultimate battlepack 59.99 Sadly no pics.
  9. I would be all over that. Back in the day, I did what a few other's mentioned. I picked up a Tan Grunt or Clutch whenever I could so I could get the O13 Desert Gear....well make that the 09, Snake Eyes, Flash and Grand Slam didn't get the treatment, and I did not own a Scarlett figure. But if they just do 1 or 2 in tan from the 25th, I'll just amass as many bodies as I can and do my own. (again)
  10. Try this link it is the one I used. http://www.gijoeclub.com/images/Redemption_Form-502.jpg But I have not received my figures yet....
  11. My check was cashed on April 28th. So that puts my doc getting here around mid-June. But I'll hope for sooner.
  12. Mighty Mugg is a good guess.. Maybe even a "Galactic Hero" "Adventure Hero" size, since they will surely be using those when the movie line launches.
  13. That is awesome indeed. If you ever want to sell it, let me know... I like the more militaristic figures back in the day, but for some reason, I liked this one...Maybe it was the mix of Vultan from Flash Gordan and Hawkman from the superfriends...
  14. Just going over the list to vote....who is #50? Do we have a missing figure or a missing number?
  15. the term "Unique Deco" is was concerns me on this....that and special packaging...could this be like Solid Silver or Bronze statues of the "Hall of Heroes".... I am ok with getting to pick our own repacks/repaints as long as they fit in with our current figures.
  16. Is it just me or does it sound like this Carol Channing Tatum guy has nothing but contempt in his heart for the fans already? Good luck getting that "Duke Movie Likeness" figure signed at a Convention...this guy considers himself too serious an actor for that...the second coming of Sean Penn and Harrison Ford I fear.... My theory on his "Slip" is just red hearing thrown in on purpose because he is a tool, but that might be giving him too much credit on the intelligence scale.
  17. IF we are going to get 12inch figs from someone other than Hasbro, I would have preferred Dragon to Sideshow. The over painting and Mardi Gras sized heads on Sideshow figures has always been a turn off for me. Their uniforms are adequate, but the head sculpts and hands are almost always a MISS instead of a hit. And according to reports, Sideshow is not going to be in attendance in person at Toy Fair, they are going to be doing Web updates the week of Toy Fair instead. EDIT: Full Toy Fair Coverage from Hasbro to Sideshow will be available on TNI starting on Feb 16, just like every year.
  18. I like it. I was a bit worried when somebody who had seen the picture described it as "The same sculpt as ACE" since Helicopter Pilots don't need G-Suits..but they are not as big of a distraction as I feared. The Hat is RAH Correct Color...got love an Air Cav Stetson. I can't tell for sure, but the hat looks removable to me. If so...look for my 25th Anniv Scaled F-Troop Customs. I also think the Pistol in the Shoulder Holster looks removable too, it looks like the Pistol that Destro and SnowJob came with..only all white. If they do a "Cartoon" repaint in Blue I won't complain too much either.
  19. I always figured they took anybody from any Branch of US Armed Forces..as long as they made the cut. They've got Armor, Pilots, Drivers, and other specialized skill sets...they even have Astronauts.. As far as Foreign Military, I always liked Foreign Military units as a kid, so I liked it when Big Ben and Red Star showed up as figures. And I don't necessarily need it to be "Elite". But what about National Guard, they are still Army...
  20. I got these from a guy in Hong Kong. (yes I overpaid, but it was a PAYPAL balance from selling stuff) I had hoped they would be here in time for the event, but they apparently got here Saturday. I barely saw wave 2 at the show.
  21. All that time trying to talk the Hasbro guys out of them... I don't think I met near as many folks there that I should have, but got to meet a few. Came home with money so it could have been better. I did win an auction last night, so that was cool.
  22. Frow what I understand, but did not ask the Hasbro Guys specifically...the fixes will not be in the Single Packs of the 5 pack figs. Those are going to be straight repacks, to fill the void between wave 3 and 2008 Wave 1 (Hasbro's naming convention). When asked about the crotches they said it would be mid-wave 3. That the choice was get the figures "Fixed" or "now" and they chose "now". They've got snowjob in the case now with his hood on wrong...I tried to point that out, but the Hasbro guys were getting beat down enough, so maybe they'll figure it out.
  23. Not the same. The hannibal helmet is smaller and won't fit on Serpy's bald dome...
  24. Can't blame the Camera it is the wife's and cost more than any camera should, these photos are all photographer errror. Sorry guys, I don't know how to take good shots... I don't know if the photos do it justice, but the Chainsaw doesn't look near as "Bloody" as I feared, you can tell it is FLAME red..
