  1. I am currently up to 18 wave 7 vipers, 3 snow wolves / bat packs, and 10 each of the wave three single packed tele vipers, sand vipers, and night creepers. I usually only go for about 4 each or some multiple of 4, and I am holding out for another wave 7 viper missing the cobra emblem on his chest to round out my viper set to 20.

  2. Notable stores of interest:

--Toys R Us Parsippany has 6 of the exclusive Jedi Starfighter with Obi Wan.

--The Totowa Toys R Us is devoid of figures, but they did have 12 inch Saga figures--Obi Wan (A New Hope), Garindan, and a two pack of Jawas.

--The Willowbrook Kay Bee toys had restocked, but the only interesting figures left on the pegs were Mustafar Sentries, #41 clone troops, and Darth Vaders.

--The Wayne Hills Toys R Us and K Mart haven't restocked yet.

Next week, I plan on stopping at the Wayne toy show, and making stops at Clifton Target, Secaucus Wal Mart, East Hanover Toys R Us and Target, and finishing up at the Rockaway K Mart. I hope.

  3. Just bored, really. I am not allowed to go to work until 8 am, so I stop over at Newton. I usually go on toy hunting runs to keep myself busy. I was going to head out to Parsippany this afternoon to the Toys r us's and such to see what I find. I want to try holding onto some extra spending cash for the Wayne Fire House Toy Show next sunday. The only thing I am really looking for is a Sgt. Bazooka / Dreadnok Torch pack, but I know a few places where I can pick it up along with VVV wave 6, though it will be costly. I haven't seen any of the black clone pilots though, were they out in the Wal Marts also?

  4. Another question, what mailing service do they use? US Postal Service? Or UPS? Or what?

They send it to the Post Office through other means, DHL being the primary "go-between". If DHL delivers in your area, they would deliver it themselves. Since they don't deliver their own packages in my area, they drop them off at my post office (only took 2 days for my first package to get to me). Hence the tracking numbers that can't be tracked by USPS.COM. It's also why Hasbro's DTC cannot mail orders to a P.O. Box. If you can get a tracking number from Hasbro's customer service, you can go on www.DHL.com to get information on where it was last.

  5. I live in Augusta, NJ, and I end up travelling all the way to Philipsburg about once a month or so and check the wal marts, targets, toys r us stores on Route 22. The Wal Marts in Newton, Franklin, and the new one in the Rockaway mall are all sitting on peg warmers--neimoidian warriors, bail organa, mon mothma. The Toys R Us is starting to shrink the area for their Star Wars stuff, with more new movies like Fantastic Four replacing them. The Targets in Rockaway and Fairfield are slowly running out of everything but the micro machines sets, and no sign of any of the cup and figure exclusives, but I have not been to the Secaucus Target in about a month.

  6. Entertainment Earth has Wedge listed on their website for $13. It looks sooo much better than the "let's put wedge's head on steroid enhanced Luke's body". Whyever did they put that horrible picture on starwarsshop?

  7. Yes, there is. They use the DHL numbering system, which starts with an H. You might also try going on to DHL's website (because the tracking number doesn't come up on USPS's website, I tried)--www.dhl.com--and try putting in Hasbrotoyshop as the sender. You also will need to sign up or login to DHL for that way to work.

  8. I ordered on July 1st, the package shipped on the 6th, and I got them today, with the comic packs inside. Just as a little FYI-- hasbro used DHL to send the package out to my post office, it showed up just as I got back from the route I deliver to (nothern NJ). The Mutt and Spirit got a little bent, but I wasn't too surprised as they are packed in an itty bitty box.

  9. Probably comic shops only, as the July Previews (Vol. XV, #7)has listings on them on page 440. Single packs--$6.99, comic packs--$13.99, cobra night watch--$27.99, and vehicles--$20.99. The new HISS might be included, depending on how late the orders are filled. The ROCC is also listed at a WHOPPING $55.99, talk about sticker shock for something that is planned to sell for $39.99 online.

  10. While I might miss GI Joe in Toys R Us when they run out of product in their birck and mortar stores, I miss the old comic book store I frequented when I was younger. In the July Previews magazine (for orders shipping in September), I found that the comic shops will also have the ability to carry the first wave, the comic packs and vehicles. Unfortunately, the prices are a little high, but I used to get a fairly decent discount (around 20% for spending almost $1,000 a month). Too bad I didn't try taking a loan out to buy my buddy who owned the shop, I could have made a fairly good deal working with Hasbro to carry them in my area. Five grand to start an account with Hasbro and a reorder amount of maybe two grand, I could do wonders in the northeast.

  11. I'll try hasbro for the medi vipers, Crimson Guards, and the comic packs. The case set is better than that of master collector (8 figures for $30, as opposed to 6 for $36 postage paid), so I might add that to my shopping list at hasbro. I hope that amazon might lower their prices when they actually have the figures in stock--august 1st from the last time I checked.

  12. 10 Night Creepers

    10 Tele Vipers

    9 Sand Vipers

They are now starting to show up at Eckerd Drug stores in my area for $2.99, yet I am still able to find some wave 1 and 2 occasionally at CVS. I might stop at 12 or 20, depending on finances.

  13. Pit Viper (blue with red highlights)

    Heavy Water (urban camo)

Iron Grenadier (black with destro's logo on the right side)

I would also like to see new sculpts from the RAH line

    aero viper

  14. Dark Horse comics has two series involving the Sith--the golden age of the sith (http://www.darkhorse.com/profile/profile.p....php?sku=46-806) and the the fall of the sith empire (http://www.darkhorse.com/profile/profile.p....php?sku=47-426) that would have the best pics of a meditation chamber from the ancient sith, and for a more "modern" looking sith chamber there are two other trade paperback collections of these series--dark lords of the sith (http://www.darkhorse.com/profile/profile.p....php?sku=44-482) and sith war (http://www.darkhorse.com/profile/profile.p....php?sku=46-446) each link has a preview of its contents, and most of the books cost about $20 before shipping directly from dark horse.

  15. I live in northern jersey and the family dollar in Port Jervis, NY has gotten both waves 2 and 3, the Dollar General hasn't gotten anything G.I. Joe since about Christmas. There is a new Dollar General planning to open in the Stanhope, NJ area and hopefully they will be better stocked.
