  1. I got a pair from my local target (rockaway, nj) last night. They have a price scanner that will also let you input the dcpi number and tell you if they have any in their stockroom. They had some in last week and I stopped in the next day and they were totally out. Once I found out they were in stock, I used the phone to ask for assistance and they brought two out for me. They had a lot of lava reflection anakin and obi wan on the shelf and were sold out of the clone assault set.

  2. I reccently finished collecting all of the Valor vs. Venom two packs. I have to check on what vehicles I am missing. I have started to backtrack and complete the Spytroops and G.I.Joe vs. Cobra, since I lapsed on collecting G.I. Joe right around 2000. I was very lucky in finding wave 6 on mastercollector.com for $55 after membership discount and shipping and I was even luckier on ebay with the wal mart exclusive set costing me about $39 after shipping. Now I am waiting to see if any of the Built to Rule Headquarters show up at Ollie's in Pennsylvania or on ebay for a reasonable price, while I build squads of Star Wars clones and cobra units.

  3. I found the sets in the island display that my local wal mart (Newton, NJ) set up a few weeks ago. The island was before the toyland section. They had just got two cases in this morning, but they didn't put them out until mid morning. I am not sure of the breakdown of the case--whether or not it is 2 of each set per case--but I picked up two of the clone sets.

  4. The only things I couldn't find in the two PA stores closest to me were the HISS and the headquarters, but I lucked out on the HISS on Ebay for $13 before shipping. I hope next month's run to PA will let me find the headquarters.

  5. At some Targets, they have a price scanner that has twelve buttons so you can manually enter a DCPI number, and then it will tell you if the item you are looking for is in stock, whether it was still in the back or on the shelves, and what aisle you could find that item. Out of the four I usually go to, only two have this type price scanner and the rest all just have a barcode scanner. I don't really feel like walking up to customer service and asking them about it, though calling up and asking them about it would definitely save a lot on gas.

  6. They only had four of the two packs left. Two were wet suit and a black moray, and the other two were duke and cobra commander--both variations. I plan on trying to find the other Ollie's that is supposed to be in the Bethlehem/Allentown area, the one in Quakertown, and then I might try for the one in Scranton sometime next month, if I can afford the gas.

  7. I found the Ollie's on west Tilghman street in Allentown, and picked up the all of the BTR's except the night prowler, the h.i.s.s., and the headquarters. I was actually surprised to see wave 3 valor vs. venom and some old GI Joe vs. Cobra puzzle and two pack sets with the family dollar stickers still attached. Hopefully I can find the rest of the BTR's the next time I take a run to an Ollie's. Has anyone else found anything interesting, like Valor Vs. Venom waves 4 thru 6? I know it's beyond all hope to find the sixth wave of Valor vs. Venom.

  8. Saw it today, along with the Jedi vs. Separatists and Empire vs. Rebellion at Wal Mart, and the new Tie Fighter with Pilot in Target. If they had used the Saga Tie Fighter Pilot, I would have dropped $39.95 for it. Too bad they reused the POTF mold.

  9. I had a little problem with Bill's Toys and Games, and was told that he was waiting for the Tunnel Rat vs. Razorclaw that I had ordered to come in. I emailed Hasbro about whether or not wave six was still being produced to validate the claim that he was waiting for it to come in and this was the email i received...

    Hi Del,

Thank you for contacting Hasbro, Inc. We appreciate your interest in our company and products.

The product you refer to is currently in production and shipping to stores. The store you mention would have to contact a sales representative regarding the product in his store.

Many Hasbro products can also be purchased online at www.hasbrotoyshop.com.

All current Hasbro products are also carried by Toys R Us (http://www.toysrus.com), Wal-Mart (http://www.wal-mart.com), Kmart (http://www.kmart.com), Target (http://www.target.com), Kay-Bee (http://www.kbtoys.com), as well as other toy and mass merchandise retailers.

Some of our products can also be found online at http://www.entertainmentearth.com (figures & collectibles),

Again, thank you for your interest.

I was contacted by Bill's Toys and Games concerning an order that I had placed in which a wave six Valor Vs. Venom figure, Tunnel Rat Vs. Razorclaw, was stated as on backorder from Hasbro in their email. I would like to know if this company will still be receiving this figure set and if so, when? Thank you for yor kind consideration in this matter.

    This is the message sent to me from Bill's Toys and Games;

    Del

I just got a letter from my local BBB, but not a reply to my previous e-mail to you on the 19th. We do not know what happened to you other order. We are trying to find out. I can replace 2 of the three items as one of them, as Tunnel Rat vs. Razorclaw is on backorder until I get more from Hasbro.

Please let me know your thoughts on this

    Bill

  10. Impressive, both the range vipers and snow serpents are out of stock again. Now they also added the sigma six stuff, I was kinda hoping that they would have also added the valor vs. venom wave 6, since they are supposedly still manufacturing them.

  11. They have made it up to New Jersey on the East Coast, at least the clone trooper and commander repaints. I haven't seen any of the black clone pilots yet. I think the Wal Mart stores are doing their re-setting just before they do their inventory checking. If anything, they are just receiving about one to two cases of figures this month, and I am guessing in about the middle of October is when they are really going to start pushing out the figures for the "Christmas Rush".

  12. The Targets in Rockaway, Fairfield, Clifton, and East Hanover all finally completed their reset. I saw one Jedi vs. Sith pack in East Hanover and six 500th Vaders, but I was actually surprised at what I found in the Fairfield Target--one Hoth Survival Accessory Set. I forget how long ago these were sold there but I decided to pick up another one and see how much they were going to charge me. I told the cashier that I thought the price was originally $9.99, and after a price check, I got it at its last clearance sale price of $2.54. There wasn't much interesting in Rockaway, Clifton, or Fairfield, but the East Hanover Target did have the Captain Antilles wave. I passed on two Captain Antilles and one Zett, but picked up two Utapaun Warriors.

  13. The last time I worked in a retail situation, it was at a gas station. Most of the "kids" I used to work with seemed to be highly unmotivating. Granted, it was a gas station, but there was a high schooler who had problems making change. Since I have been working as a carrier, I work mostly by myself and try to get the job done as carefully and quickly as possible. It has been almost two years since I quit the gas station, and my interpersonal skills have dulled. Not to mention I get into the strangest conversations with my co-workers, and I really don't need to know all that much about other people. And some things are just plain WRONG.

  14. This makes me fearful of looking into a position at Target for overnight stock person. I have been thinking about doing a second job, and the Target near me has had that position up for almost a month now. I work as a carrier in my hometown's post office and it has been a long time working with younger employees. Motivating people to care about what they are doing is almost like pulling teeth.

  15. When I found the two #6 red clone trooper variant and the green #33 clone commander at Wal Mart, they looked like they were packed in with Vader, #41 clone trooper, General Grievous with 4 lightsabers, #26 yoda, and Emperor Palpitane. I also think each were about 1 or 2 to a case, since I had only seen 1 red #6 and 1 green #33 at any one time. The Target near me did their reset on Sunday and had one Captain Antilles, and a pair of red Royal Guards, but no Zett, Utapaun Warriors, or any #51-53. They may not be finished though since only half the pegs were filled.
