  1. I can only hope that I still work at toys r us when these hit the shelves. I was hoping to get rid of the rest of my credit card debt, but now I could surely take a THIRD job to pick up the new line--if they look as good when toy fair shoes them off without the photoshopping. It would have been nice to take a break from searching for Star Wars and G.I. Joe stuff for a while, but oh well. And I hope to god they don't make billions of different Duke figures--whoever thought that anyone would buy ten different versions of Duke in the SS line should have been keel hauled.

  2. The Cantina band tins set is down to $20 at one of the wal marts I stop at. Most of the wal marts in my area are still in the process of resetting their toy aisles, and they are so empty that is becoming kinda depressing.

  3. I am waiting to see what Toy Fair holds for G.I. Joe, though I am not going to get my hopes up too high. I can only hope that when the Toys R Us I work at remodels in February, they set it up so that there is enough room for everything.

  4. I guess this would explain why some of the boxes at the TRU I work at were opened. Guess it might be a good thing they want all their overnight employees to come in as often as they can.

  5. I tried to email hasbro's consumer help line and received this in response:

    (Original question)

Because of the limited availability of Swerve (#15) and Nemesis Prime (#24), will either of these be re-released along with any new Alternator products like Meister and Tracks were?

Thank you for contacting Hasbro, Inc. We appreciate your interest.

There are no plans at this time to re release those two products.

We will share your interest with the appropriate personnel.

It doesn't rule out the possibility they may be re released, because there should be more than Rumble and Ravage coming out next year. Hopefully there will be more info in February.

  6. Does this wave come with a large number of orange clones? If so then the Mount Olive and Ledgewood, NJ wal marts sold out of everything but the orange clones. I found them in the Rockaway TRU on sunday, but no tins sets. The Newton NJ wal mart has the unleashed Darth Vader and Luke exclusives, and they keep cranking out the greatest hits waves. Hopefully the next waves will be at least easier to find.

  7. I happened to stop into a couple of Wal Marts this morning and there seemed to be a strange surprise on the pegs. Three full pegs of the Utapau (Orange) clone troopers. The Mount Olive and Ledgewood, NJ Wal Marts were up to their eyebrows in Clones. The Toys R Us ad showed the tin sets on sale with with a "buy $20 of Star Wars and get a free figure" offer. Lucky thing I stopped, they had a few cases of wave 7 out and I picked up a pair of Naboo soldiers and White Endor troopers. Unfortunately, no African American Endor troopers were present, but I would guess that soon the Utapau clones will become peg warmers for a few weeks.

  8. They restock certain things, but G.I. Joe seems to be on their back burner for some reason. Maybe there was some problem with their factories. When they had the fiasco with their San Diego Comic Con exclusives, two out of the three were magically restocked. The third exclusive is still pending on my order, and other online retailers are starting to get it back in again--for three times its original price.

  9. I happened to see in the Fairfield Target that only the TITANIAM LAVA DARTH exclusive is out so far. I was hoping that the Mace set would be out by now.

  10. Well, at least that gives me good reason to check my local wal mart tomorrow. I just stopped in a target and picked up a few 501st troopers and AT-TE gunners. My Wal Mart hasn't restocked the star wars figures, so I am kinda hopeful that the new wave will be there.

  11. Entertainment Earth has cases of each wave/revision at the moment. Brian's toys would be probably the last ditch effort to find any preorders since they would be the most expensive. Toy wiz ( http://www.toywiz.com/starwarssaga.html ) has them up for preorder, but at Brian's Toys type of pricetags ($20 for the most popular clones). I would say that it might be best to sign up for the bbts newsletter and when they announce they have more up for preorder, get them then. BBTS looks like the most affordable so far.

  12. The Scranton Ollie's was the only place I ever found the BTR headquarters and the HISS. I haven't seen any more BTR stuff since March, I think. Now that September is coming up they may have started picking up toys for the Christmas rush. I might start trying to take a trip out there in the middle of september. I know if I go this weekend I would be sure to find something, because that always seems to happen when I am short on cash.

  13. Ollie's seemed to be the only place that I had found that carried the BTR second wave. Now that someone had found wave 6 at Ollie's, do I really feel like taking that strange and magical trip out to Allentown, Bethlehem and possibly Quakertown, PA. Possibly in two weeks, when I see another paycheck. Thank goodness the price of gas is going down in price for a while.

  14. I thought it was Jedi Luke and Darth Vader that were the Wal Mart esclusives. I also forget where I saw it. I just checked the news section of hasbro's site and no sign of any announcements of the unleashed exclusives.

  15. I had found two Shock Troopers last week at Target, but no 501st or R4-G9, and then yesterday the Wal Mart down the street had R4-G9. The Newton Wal Mart is resetting their toy aisle and they had two boxes of the GH wave, but no room to put them out. The Franklin Wal Mart had at least two or three cases of Endor, I didn't think I would see so many Death Star Gunners and Chief Chirpas. Picked up 4 Gunners and there were at least 6 to 8 more on the pegs. I can't wait for them to get in the Greatest Hits waves.

  16. Kay Bee toys has some Power Team Elite humvees and transport trucks, though all they have on their website is the dune buggy and tank sets. I forget if Toys R Us has a similar toy line called Elite Operations, which has a humvee for certain, but everything else I'm not sure of. If you have a Big Lots, Dollar General, Family Dollar, and occasionally Eckerd drug stores, in your area they might have them for even cheaper prices.
