  1. brent works alot and stopped posting pretty much. you can still reach him on aim every once in a while. and tom became more man sexy now that hes all militarized. so here's my question.... is this the official return of you dustin or are you gonna disappear again? I keep a fairly hectic schedule as well, but I plan on posting regularly here once more, for the simple reason that I very much like many of you, and in my searches, I've yet to find anyone quite as funny and interesting as Viper Hunter, Darren, You, Mach Diesel (whom I keep in touch through MySpace) and several others, whom post here. As strange, or un-strange as it sounds, I feel as though I am friends with you all and should keep in touch. Plus, Tom is just too sexxy to be beat! ^__^ Thanks for the info on Brent. I hope he is doing well. -Dustin
  2. I know! He should be a male model!!! Darren, you're SO DREAMY! Tom is too, though. Girl, have you seen the hottness that is Tom-1?!
  3. I'm not the biggest fan of this line, but I very much like certain aspects of it. The cartoon is a bit anime, but not bad at all, and the figures are cartoonish, but nicely detailed and over-priced at the same time. I would rather buy a Marvel figure than pay over $10 for an action figure that looks like their mother was Tentacle-raped, ya know?
  4. All the time, man. I used to front a band called TV Themesong, which no longer exists, and I think I made all of my bandmates crazy by talking about Genesis and the Talking Heads constantly. We even covered "Invisible Touch". Obvious choice, but one of the best. A few years later, and I'm starting to listen to them as much as I used to. I think everyone goes through those cycles. When you listen to all types of music, it's only natural.
  5. Carry with you a gun, and pack some diseases (they have free health-care, LOL.)
  6. I found one of my earliest Demo CDs that I would give out to friends and one of the songs is a remix of a song Night Creeper made, called "Faridi Land". It made me wonder where he was and how he's doing. Does he still post here? I see Darren posting sometimes, that hot son of a gun, but I haven't really seen any from his little brother. I used to talk to him all of the time on AIM and became good friends with him, but have been busy over the last few years. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHERE MY BUDDY IS!!! @bananna@ Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, and God Bless - Dustin McFinklestein His real name is TOP SECRAT, but I know it.
  7. He's currently taking pictures of himself naked, but if you'd like to leave him a message...
  8. With my daughter Penelope: With my best friend's girlfriend, Meagan:
  9. This one is taken from my upcoming PBS Kids special. #US1#
  10. Awesome car, Bro. :] I bet you can get all the fat chicks your heart has ever desired in that bad #$##, and then even more! You know what I mean, :wink :wink?
  11. I felt like Ellen DeGenerate, and I dance like her, too. I went with some friends to the Department Store to try on a woman's suit. You know, the type Martha wears, only his one was a bit cheap. I'm groping my ass because it felt weird in the suit, probably because it was made for a WOMAN. There's also some tuck action going on. Thanks, VH. I'm actually a big fan of Split Enz, and appreciate the comparison. Nice to hear that Tom is OK. He always knows how to get the party going. ;]
  12. I've been in hibernation, only coming out for work and school. I was thinking about Tom the other night, as I usually do, wondering how he is. It brought me to tears thinking about him and how great of a friend he's been, you know? I hope he is doing ok. He knows I'd love to hear from him. How is he?
  13. I have so very many. Artists and songs. Here are some recent ones on rotation. James Maker - Moon over Michigan, Born That Way David Bowie - Heroes Morrissey - The Last of the Famous Internation Playboys, I Will See You in Far Off Places The First Wave - Neighborhood Kid, Little Bit O'Soul (Music Explosion cover) The Clash - This is England The Kaiser Chiefs - I Predict a Riot The Killers - All the Pretty Faces The Jesus and Mary Chain - Head On, Happy When It Rains Guster - Amsterdam Blondie - Maria Pink - Just Like a Pill James Blunt - You're Beautiful, Goodbye My Lover Cyndi Lauper - Her Latest Release, The Body Acoustic #US1#
  14. I'm not a huge fan myself, as he's stolen most of his songs from me. I originally wrote "I Beat Shaq" as well as "Aaron's Party, come get it" and I know my name's not Aaron, but that song title was more of an inside joke between friends. I wonder if Mr. Carter likes spending my money?
  15. THANKS EVERYONE No Clam I havent gotten my credential. Basically to be an intern u have to have your BA, pass the CBEST, take a special intern prep class and be enrolled in the credential program. Theres 2 ways to go through the credential program. Traditional student teaching is the most common. U get a mentor teacher and u work with an ELL and special needs student on a 1 on 1 basis for 2 periods and then u TA for the 3rd period your 1st semester. Your 2nd semester u actually teach the class for 2 periods and then TA for a 3rd, all the while taking classes. Now interning is different. U start from day 1 teaching your 5 classes. And u get paid a starting teacher's salary. U take classes and then earn your credential while u r teaching. Internships are hard to come by under No Child Left Behind (dont worry not getting political) simply because it has to be demonstrated that u r a qualified teacher. If u can get an intership then thats great. I think (not sure though) once u start teaching w/your BA schools will pay for your continued education to get your masters. I asked a teacher about starting to teach w/your masters and he said u get a higher top out salary if u start w/your BA and earn your masters while u r teaching. However if u have a masters degree I dont think u need your credential. I may be wrong about that. I eventually want my masters and teach at the Jr College level. But thats down the line some. Good luck Clam! I'll ask about the masters degree and see if u need a credential still. Wait a minute! @grumpy@ Ur going to be an English Teacher?! @loll@ Haha. Only kidding, I'm sure you'll do fine.
  16. These were taken last year, during the winter: Left to Right: Me, A New Friend, and my dear friend (and musical cohort) Heather Me holding a Wall CLock shaped like a watch, which I gave as a gift to a friend after I took it off her wall. These were taken last week: Heather and I once again Jumping for Joy (while wearing Heather's clothes) I couldn't get The Pixies' song "Debaser" out of my head and so I went a little crazy.
  17. I absolutely LOVE '80s music, which much of my friends don't care for. or atleast not as much as I do. I think Easterhouse was one of the greatest bands of all time (both line-ups) and I'm also of the belief that The Outfield were way ahead of their time. A-ha are genius, in my book, and their song "Stay On These Roads" bugs the hell out of some of my friends, but it's one of my favorite songs, so you can imagine their anguish when riding in my car.
  18. About a year ago, when I was extremely depressed, I would always listen to Morrissey's "I Don't Mind If You Forget Me" and "Everyday is Like Sunday". While they remain two of my favorite songs, I don't listen to them quite as much as I used to, and when I do, I'm not in the same frame of mind as I used to be. In fact, these days I'm hoping people will never forget me. Lately, The Cure's "Cut Here" has really meant alot to me. "So we meet again!" and I offer my hand All dry and english slow And you look at me and I understand Yeah it's a look I used to know "Three long years... and your favourite man... Is that any way to say hello?" And you hold me... like you'll never let me go "Oh c'mon and and have a drink with me Sit down and talk a while..." "Oh I wish I could... and I will! But now I just dont have the time..." And over my shoulder as I walk away I see you give that look goodbye... I still see that look in your eye... So dizzy Mr Busy - Too much rush to talk to Billy All the silly frilly things have to first get done In a minute - sometime soon - maybe next time - make it june Until later... doesn't always come It's so hard to think "It ends sometime And this could be the last I should really hear you sing again And I should really watch you dance" Because it's hard to think "I'll never get another chance To hold you... to hold you... " But chilly Mr Dilly - Too much rush to talk to Billy All the tizzy fizzy idiot things must get done In a second - just hang on - all in good time - wont be long Until later... I should've stopped to think - I should've made the time I could've had that drink - I could've talked a while I would've done it right - I would've moved us on But I didn't - now it's all too late It's over... over And you're gone.. I miss you I miss you I miss you I miss you I miss you I miss you so much But how how many times can I walk away and wish "If only..." But how many times can I talk this way and wish "If only..." Keep on making the same mistake Keep on aching the same heartbreak I wish "If only..." But "If only...." Is a wish too late...
  19. I like the new album, because it doesn't remind me of anything.

  22. Tom, in all serious, please be safe. You're like my Brother from another Mother directly North of the Border, if you catch what I'm throwing. I wouldn't know what to do if something happened to you, man. And I mean that. I Love You. And Remember, buddy: KILL A COMMIE FOR MOMMIE. Sincerely, -Dustin
  23. I didn't eat food for a week because I have an eating disorder, and I drove to Target to buy some G.I.Joes.
