This AFA craze has gone too far and it looks like it will never end. Now HTS.com is trying to cash in on the AFA craze. WTF is so special about AFA, just because its graded by AFA - SO WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you ask me AFA is made for suckers and fools who don't know there joe. In fact AFA is ripping you off. Why pay some company just to tell you how good of condition your figure is in. I can do this myself, if its mint on card and has no dogears or scratches then buy all means its flawless But If you really need your AFA fix then prices between $50.00 - $100.00 shouldn't matter to you at all. And also there is a Cobra EEL wepond variant, so that fig will probably sell for $10,000.00 on ebay and some poor fool will buy it too, maybe one of you.

Just like I saw a Target excluse Cobra Rattler sell for $999.99 by the same scalper. Now he is at it again, but this time w/ the Copperhead vs. Shipwreck comic pack. He says that it is a paint error on Shipwreck's orange vest that it is missing the black stripe on the vest. And guess who is backing it up - you guessed it, the evil terrorist organization AFA. I bet you that some sucker out there or even some of yous in the TNI GI Joe forums will probably give into the scalpers price just because it has a WOW!!!! AFA factor rating of 90. Suckers are attracted to the high AFA ratings. Have a look for yourselves. http://cgi.ebay.com/GI-JOE-25th-ANNIVERSAR...id=p3286.c0.m14

A message to the ##$%$#s who buy their joes at scalper prices off ebay or anywhere else. Your the one who will pay 1,000% more for your joes before they hit retail just so that you can run down your block and say I got it first. You know who you are. Does $100.00+ for a Wraith variant, $200.00+ for a yellow Stalker, $50.00+ for Flint, and $100.00+ for Snake Eyes w/ Black Timber ring a bell. Yes, that serves them right. Not just because of the bad economy either, its all of those ridicuclus 25th anniversary GI Joe auctions flooding ebay w/ those skyhigh scalpers prices now has put a hurting on ebay. I saw one auction for a Target exclusive Rattler w/ a buy it now price of $1000.00, who will pay that kind of money, I bet some sucker out there will. ebays stock fell to a measly $9.00 a share. Because, if there is a hell down below all of ebay, the scalpers, and the suckers who buy from scalpers are all gonna go strait to hell. BURN IN HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU SCLAPER SCUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We all know that the price of oil has gone up, so that has a domino effect on everything. Higher oil prices = higher cost for materials and higher transportation cost to get the product to where it is going. The stores order cases from Hasbro. Hasbro sets an MSRP on its products. So that means that the stores can sell for ever price they want to charge the consumer. I remeber when these GI Joe figures first hit the stores. I'll use Wal-mart and Target as an example. At Wal-Mart they started out at $4.88, then they increased to $5.44 and now $6.84 is Wal-Marts new standard price. Target on the other hand started out at $5.99, then they incresed to $6.84, then they went up to $7.99 while Wal-mart was still at $6.84. Now Target cut back to $6.84 on single packs I guess to remain competive w/ Wal-Mart but increases the prices on there comic packs to $10.99. You see this just goes to show you that Hasbro has no control over what its customers charge. Its the stores, they can sell for whatever prices they want. Just like in the ebay/scalper market, the sellers are free to charge at whatever price they want to charge. And rumor has it that the prices of joes will increase again to $8.99 in 2009.

just cancle it and place another order with the 20% off

I order a Cobra F.A.N.G./Cobra C.L.A.W. pack from HTS.com last week and it arrived today. I was really looking forward to the Cobra C.L.A.W. because I have never owend the original. The Cobra F.A.N.G. is alright, but the Cobra C.L.A.W. just plain sucks balls. The new 25th anni. Cobra C.L.A.W. is a new mold, it uses no parts from the original Cobra C.L.A.W. For starters it is smaller than the original Cobra C.L.A.W. and there is no landing gear and it is missing the bombs that were on the orignal. The figures don't even look right w/ it on. It just looks silly. Hasbro did it again, just rushed a peice of crap out the door and expected you to pay $15.00+ for this trash just to get the Cobra F.A.N.G. which is the best vehicle of the two, Shame on you Hasbro. This new Cobra C.L.A.W. mold looks like it can be used for The Corps figures. Hasbro should sell this mold to Lanard Toys or scrap this Cobra C.L.A.W. mold and start all over from scratch and gives us a better Cobra C.L.A.W., come on Hasbro, we know you can do better than this. But I guess Hasbro doesn't care sense the 25th anni. line is almost at the end of its life span anyway, I guess were just going to have to put up w/ this piece of crap and make the best of it. OH WELL!!!!!!!!!!!

We all know about americas financial crisis, w/ all these falling stock prices, banks going bankrupt, and the $700Billion dollar bail out which is going to hurt the taxpayer. The reason I ask this, is because I went into Wal-mart today at around 4:00pm and proceded to the toys. I was shock, I saw the Firebat, cobra fang and claw pack, and the awe stricker w/ leatherneck and I looked at there comic book packs and happend to find a black head destro varient, was this all a dream. Because, I was suprised to see these at wal-mart especially at that time of day, because usally when I go to wal-mart all I find is peg warmers which I did, revision wave single packs still warming the pegs, but I scored the new vehicles and the black head destro variant. So I was wondering why havent a scalper came along and scalped them up already. My guess is they don't have any money, the scalpers mastercard is probably drained all out and know one buying the way the economy is people are losing money. So I say this is good news for the collector, because the scalpers are not making any money right now because know one is paying the high prices they are asking. Except for suckers who are paying over $100.00+ Wraith variant which in my book is not worth it and is way overly hyped. So the slumping economy has helped the collector find what he is looking for for right now and not having to worry about scalpers buying it all up. Take advantage of it.
-
True that people have the right to do whatevever they wish w/ there money. But I also have the right to laugh in there face and call them a dumb ass when these wraith variets are easy too find and they are worth no more than $10.00. would you pay $100.00+ for a wraith variant? No I don't think so
-
when I went over to HTS.com I saw they had Wraith in stock. I was shock so I managed to get a wraith w/ 20% discount using the promo code FALL20 for only $5.59. Now how good is that, thats cheaper than Wal-mart. And also I manage too see the Awe Sticker w/ Leathernevk in stock so I pick this up too. Yeah, I know the figure is kinda crappy looking but I still want a variant just to keep it MOC. I don't plan to open it. I will find a wraith variant eventualy for a retail price when these start hitting the brick-and-mortar stores. If you were the sucker who paid over $100.00+ on e-bay for a wraith variant do yourself a favor and slap yourself silly because you just got screwed, you dumb ass.

So today, early this morning I went on a Wal-Mart hunt. As usual I didn't find jack $#!+. I was hoping I'd find at least one of the new vehicles, yeah right. It's already October and retailers still haven't recieved Wave 10. This is just plain ridiculous. I'm sick and tired of finding the same @*%!ing Wave 7 revisions. Now we all know that Wave 10 won't hit pegs 'til they move all these revisions that keep poping up every week. Hasbro definetly is not helping by shipping nothing but revision cases. What pissed me off the most, I checked HTS after my useless hunt. What do I find Wave 10 sold out, WTF!!! Hasbro has a cash cow on their hands and it seems that they intentionally want the line to fail. Keep sending these revisions that most of us have and they're just gonna warm the pegs. Retailers are gonna see that they are not selling so they'll stop ordering and we are just gonna be $#!+ out of luck and not have Joes, again. I'm not a genius but common sense from Hasbro can save this line and make it more profitable. This line is being kept afloat through us the 'collectors'. I can understand revisions, giving others a chance to catch up on what was in very low quantities at the beginning of the 25th Ann. line. I can understand re-releasing; Wave 1 Flint, Snake-Eyes w/ Timber. W2 Beach-Head, W3 Firefly, W5 Flash, & Snow Job. And of course all of Wave 6. But this constant releases of Wave 7,8, & 9 is just plain stupid especially in the quantities we're getting. Honestly how many of you are sick of seeing Urban Roadblock, Jet Pack Duke, Wild Bill, TF Flint, Python Officer and Cobra Commander? If I could get a dollar for every time I see these figures I could buy Hasbro. I totally understand revisions but you got to put figures people want on the pegs. We always #$#@# on how hard it is to army build get the B.A.T.s, Snow Serpents, Eels, Para Vipers etc get those on the pegs. Each character should not be produced in exact quantities, army building characters should be produced at least 20% more than named characters. I know there is no way to completely make every collector happy, but Hasbro's got THINK before they do something. Honestly, all these revisions we're getting I would have waited until the holidays or even right before the movie gets released. But uncle Hasbro wants to just focus on the movie line only, then so be it. I for one will be taking a break when the movie line comes out. I just pray that the movie does well, for the sake of the movie toy line. Hopefully after the movie line Hasbro puts more effort into the regular line and stop treating us like idiots. Sorry for the extra long drama but I had to get this off my chest. This pass year I've always back Hasbro thanked them in person for what they have given us but now I'm not as happy as before and I can see why some people thrash Hasbro the way they do. Like I said hopefully things will change... Now who out there feels my pain.
-
Man WTF, Everytime I go over to hasbrotoyshop.com everything is always listed as out of stock, well not everything but most of the things I want. Why can't I never be able to get the items I need from HTS. Do people actually sleep by there computers/laptops or something. Or do they leave their computers logged on to HTS and never leave the site. Does HTS put a limit on the amout you can buy. Apparently they don't, because everything sells out in minutes. They really need to improve the site more by keeping more product in stock and put a limit on the amount you can order. I know scalpers like to buy up all the joes in the brick-or-motar stores but now it looks like we have a new breed of scalper called THE CYBER SCALPER. I just hope they get it back in stock ASAP. Now do you feel my pain.
-
My guess is between $100.00 - $200.00 and if its graded by AFA probably $300.00 - $500.00. You see as soon as some desperate collector or sucker plucks down his hard earned doe for a Wraith variant at one of the above prices I just mentioned, every other seller on e-bay will raise his price to the price at whatever the first e-bay seller got for his and they won't back down from it either. And as soon as the Wraith variant is impossible to find expect the prices to double, triple and quadruple. The GI Joe 25th anniversary line is defiently a scalpers dream. I actually think that some idiot out there will actually buy a Wraith variant for $1000.00. If someone out there actually does buy a wraith variant for $1000.00, then I will defeintly put my Wraith variant up on e-bay too and sell mines at that price.
-
well if you want some Vipers just hit me up w/ a PM because the Wal-Marts around here just have so many Vipers warming their pegs tso bad that they are now starting to fall on the floor.
-
I think the reason why the Cobra Viper is warming the pegs is because the scalpers bought up all the Cobra Vipers by the boat load and put them on e-bay to sell them for a marked up price. Thats what the Scalper was thinking. Because, scalpers know that collectors love army builders. But it all back fired on the scalper. You see, the Viper has a flaw, a flaw that most collectors don't like. You all know what I mean, those Funky Wrist. So while back in wave 3 (2008) Hasbro shipped 2 Cobra Vipers per case and then the Viper made another return in wave 4 (2008) as a filler but instead of the 25th anni logo on the card it had from the cartoon series on the card. So most collectors probably only picked up 2 or 6 Cobra Vipers at the most. The scalpers were thinking in there minds that army builders sell well and when nobody was bidding on there auctions of Cobra Vipers on e-bay at an inflated price because Cobra Viper was starting to warm the shelves at the stores so it was a easy find for the collector to find. So then Mr. Scalper tried to sell Cobra Viper in a Cobra Viper lot which also didn't work. So what does the Scalper do in a sitution like this. Well like most scalpers they don't throw away their reciepts. So when they found out that the Viper wasn't selling for the high demanding prices they wanted they just simply returned thier dozens of Cobra Vipers back to their local brick-and-mortar stores. So thats why there are so many Cobra Vipers warming the shelves right now in your local Wal-Marts, Targets, and K-Marts its because of the scalpers couldn't sell them on e-bay for a high price so they just returned them to the stores. Come on now were talking Vipers, one of a collectors favorite troops to army build just like the BATS. Yeah I don't think its price either because, I have 10 BATs, and I love the BATs and the Viper but stopped at 6 Vipers because I don't like the wrist but kept increasing my number of BATs because I don't see any flaws in this figure unless you hate paint wash. And when Viper was realeased, Wal-Mart had increased the price to $6.84 which is now there current price. If Hasbro would have designed the Viper wrist better it would fly off the shelves like the BAT does now and then we would have a hard time finding Vipers like we do w/ the BATs now. So thats why I think the Viper is still warming pegs around here because of the design flaw that collectors don't like and returns from I'm not going to assume there "scalpers" but I will just say customers who are into the hobby and didn't want to army build the Viper because of the flaw in the wrist. Heck, even those crooks over at Brianstoys w/ there skyhigh prices now sells the Viper for $9.99. I bet you if the Viper didn't have the wrist flaw and collectors were army building the Viper then Brianstoys will probably be selling the Viper for $19.99 and be listed as out of stock. You see the flaw in the wrist really hurts the Viper alot in terms of army building him.
-
I like them all, and finally a wave without Cobra Commander.
-
I bet this set will sell for $500.00+ on e-bay and some desperate impatient collector will but it too.
-
This is a good thing because this should put a big dent in some of those e-bay scalper prices. Because it will be hard for a scalper to sell Flint on e-bay for $50.00+ when he is available in the stores for retail. And bersides I can use another v1 Flint so I can replace the Horriable Duke Arms w/ the Tiger Force Flint arms. Good looking out Hasbro.
-
What I'm talking about is that I think Wal-Mart is going backwards. We are suppose to be in wave 5 now, wave 5 should be warming the pegs now not wave 4. For some odd reason all of the Wal-Marts around here have been restocking there pegs w/ wave 4. What the f--k are they doing. This is really wierd because weeks ago they had wave 5 so I'm thinking every time they get a truck in they should have nothing but wave 5 not wave 4. So thiss pisses me off because wave 4 will just warm the pegs because most people already have the figures in that wave and wal-mart will not restock because the pegs are full. This just sucks. And to top that off, the DVD battle packs 1 & 2 and the vehicles are just WARMING the shelves like toast in a oven. What's going on, is it because the scalpers couldn't sell them on e-bay for a marked up price and now they are returning them to the stores. Wal-mart is going to have to put those DVD packs, vehicles and wave 4 on cleareance or something because they just have way too many of them. They are overstocked w/ that crap. They need to hurry up and get the new comic books packs which I still havent found yet. So have any of you took notice of this at your local Wal-Marts around your area.
-
The dpci number can be found at Target.com The Target thats closes to me didn't have any. After I gave them the DPCI number I had them check to see if any other Targets around the area had any in stock. And they checked for me and found a Target that was about 20+ minutes away from were I was at and they had only 1 case in stock. So I took the gamble and srove over there and I was in look that they still had it.
