  1. I found two to three sets of Wave 10 at the Dublin, CA. Walmart last friday and I picked up Beast Boy, Robotman, Manbat, Joker and Forager. Already had Power Girl and didnt want that Batman. Went to Walmart in American Canyon, CA. on Saturday and saw a full set and extra PG figures.

  2. The only comic I collect and read on a monthly basis is NOVA, which I'm now behind two issues on picking up. I keep up with Astonishing X-men, Moon Knight, Avengers Initiative in trade and hc format because I'm trying to limit my monthly titles.

  3. The last two weeks I've spotted the latest waves at TRU in Dublin and Pleasant HIll, CA.

I was able to pick up my Warpath/Angel, X-Force Wolverine/Vault Guard and Spiderwoman/?...I'm drawing a blank on who she came with. Still have to pick up the Electro set. I got into Minimates a little late but I want to get all of Spidey's rogues.

  4. I live out near Napa and I went to Walmart on monday to get some milk for my son, and they had 3 Batman in the Black suits. Unfortunately nothing else. I didn't buy any cause he was one of the ones I planned on skipping. One of my friends found a Power Girl for me on Tuesday so I was happy, one done and 4 more to go for me (I'll be skipping Robotman).

  5. I've been tempted to get a couple of these to go with my Fury Files, but everytime I pass because of the ridiculous 1985 T-crotch and big, doughy looking monkey hands.

Joint the hips and give me small hands with swivel wrists. It would improve these 100%. As it is now, I'm looking at taking parts like Batman's head and Flash's head/torso and making customs w GI Joe and Marvel parts.

Why the heck is Mattel so stuck in he 80s? Sheesh.

I've been checking on these since I haven't found Batman yet, and I've been to three TJ Maxx locations. Only one carried these and they were the Shazam, Black Hand and Guy Gardner singles for 3.99.

  6. Went to ToysRUs yesterday in Pleasant Hill, CA. and picked up the Dreadnoks comic pack. I didn't see the Breaker/Destro pack though. I'm thinking I just missed it. I also saw the Battle Damaged Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow with the red cloak.

  7. I just sent DC Direct an email as well. Hopefully it does continue on with box sets. Aside from the Red Son Superman and Wonder Woman i haven't had an issue with character selection. Its a mix of Titans, JLA and JSA figures. The fact that Booster Gold and Blue Beetle came together was pretty cool too. I'll hold out hope they continue.

  8. According to one of the latest Mattel Q&A sessions they plan on rectifying the Grodd situation and since its now Target exclusive i don't think it'll be too much of an issue finding these guys.

Evilstar seriously how old are you? I'm wondering why i'm even responding to this nonsense after reading the bull$hit red tornado thread you started a while back. For someone whos' supposedly 40 why the f-ck does it matter what other people think of you and this girl you speak of who cares what she thinks and then your going to give her hell cause you didnt' buy a figure? and you didnt find it later whos f-cking fault was that but your own. Do you ever take responsibility for you actions.

I collect and i go in there and buy stuff when i feel like it. My wife doesn't care the only time she mentions to me not to buy something is when my mortgage is due but its the price you pay for having a house and a family.

I dont' know your a complete moron. Was this the same girl that worked at ToysRuS you were you returned your Red Tornado? Seriously grow up. If the female can't accept your hobby oh well.

JJ is right you've got anger issues but you've also got Insecurity issues.

  9. The new issue of ToyFare (due in comic stores on Wed., Feb. 13) will contain new info on JLU, but the news has already leaked to the web (thanks to actionfigureinsider.com)

JLU will now be Target exclusive starting this summer.

A new 6-pack called Attack From Apokolips will feature Darkseid, Mr. Miracle, a redeco'd Superman, and 3 new figures--Mantis, Lashina and Forager (apparently there will be pics in Toyfare of these 3 figures).

13 new characters will come out this fall including the Question! The JLU fall line-up will be shown at NYCC in April and SDCC in July.

In addition to the 13 new characters, there will be fan-requested re-paints/re-decos of existing characters.

2009 will feature characters that weren't in the JLU show including some characters from other Bruce Timm animated DC shows.

Can't wait for Wednesday to see this issue of ToyFare! Way to go, Mattel! Thanks for keeping JLU alive and healthy!

Not the most exciting news I've ever heard, but Toy Fair is this weekend so im sure we will hear something there.

Hmmm...I'm guessing Mattel aint showing squat at TF for JLU. This "leak" was prolly to keep some buzz going and so we didn't write them off when they didn't show crap at ToyFare. I ain't holding my breath, Bro.

I don't think they will be showing anything at the NY Toy Fair because thats stuff they show the other retailers and since this is Target exclusive they mentioned they won't show anything till the NY Comic Con.

They have pics of the New Gods in TOYFARE magazine. And this should be in stores tomorrow. Another website action figure insider elaborated on the news.
