  1. For those who cant seem to comprehend buying a 1/60 VF-0 for mucho mula I present you with some comparison pics: The new 1/60 VF-0s next to a 1/60 VF-1S Here's the 1/48 VF-1S standing next to the 1/60 Vf-0S I've had mine for a week and now I'm suffering from "buyer's remorse". No that its a bad figure/plane/mecha, I just think I spent waaaaay too much on it for "it" to have (lots of) QC issues. Its a nicely engineered dont get me wrong, but its way too floppy in 2 out of the 3 modes (the plane being the most stable)
  2. Better likeness and better proportioned than Hot toys and Medicom's. BBTS has their's for pre-order. I'm not ordering catwoman though...
  3. I'm a child of the 70's and I thought I still had my baseball cards. I found out my mom threw those out a couple of years ago, along with my vintage GI Joes, Big Jim's and Action Jackson stuff @grumpy@ Til this day I keep thinking I could of made a fortune with that stuff (And they were really taken cared of too, well.. the last time I seen them) @hmmm@
  4. Death bed eh? I hope it wasnt too bad. Anyways, Thanks for the feedback. Yup Im down with the food network too and Im also the cook in the house. I'd like to start a thread about recipes, thing is I dont have anything written down. Everything is in my head. I dont know how many teaspoons, cups to describe. I just "know" @loll@ I'll see what I could do though.
  5. Creepy and sexy. I saw it and liked it. Its a definite yes that I'll be adding this to my collection when the DVD comes out. I wonder who's brave enough to make action figures from this movie? My votes are for: Pyramid head (with bugs), sexy nurse creatures and those "ash" zombies.
  6. Im a guy and I love to cook and learn new things to cook. I like experimenting and cooking anything from every corner of the world. How about a place to share recipes or food experiences here? seriously, Arnold
  7. "In the eyes of a child, mother is God".... (and daddys too!) We are the culmination of all that was. Like our fathers before us and so on. But with every generation we strive to be more. We bestow upon our children the wisdom of ages (or atleast we try to) because we only want the best for them. Why did God create us? To be like him but more. I'm not talking about having god-like powers, its about being as perfect or living a perfect life as possible. To experience what he's given us, Life.. And we're here to exploit it, but respect it's rules at the same time... When we were children we looked to our parents, grandparents etc for guidance when we felt lost in the world. They held our hands and walked us through life until it was time to let go. In turn we as parents wish all our love and efforts was enough for our children to make it on their own. And though they may have moved out and started families of their own, they'll are always be with us in our hearts and memories. Who is God and why did he create us? We are him and he is us... all of us. We are not perfect, but we strive to be. We want our children to be.. When my daughter was only a couple of days old, I told her.. "Welcome to the planet earth, I'm your daddy. Your mom and I will be your guide in life. We'll provide you food, shelter and all the love your heart can carry.." Now she's out on her own. I'm confident I've done my best to get her ready for life. And that I think is what God wants.. to make sure his creations, us are happy with what his given us.. Life... Remain child-like at heart... No matter how old or young you are, we're always growing, always learning... about life, love and the human spirit. Disclaimer: Im catholic, but not a practicing catholic. Meaning there are things I dont believe in. Like confessions, Saints, chanting the rosary and communion amongst other things. I dont believe in images or symbols. But I do believe in God. I respect all religions and believe everyone has a right to worship God in their own way. **waits for the casting of stones**
  8. Condolences and good luck. Sometimes uneventful things begets something good in life. Those people or things may never completely replace those you lost, but life has a clever way of filling voids. Just hang in there and be strong my friend. Life isn't over yet.
  9. Hey Looky here. Click pics to open in a new window and access more pics. Hit the next button at the bottom for shots of Batman and Catwoman.

One thing this thing doesnt really mention as a benefiet is dreams. Mine have been very vivid since I started playing Brain Age and I can actually remember my dreams in its entirety (not just bits and pieces) Anyone elese have experiences like these ( telekenisis excluded @loll@ )
  14. I realize most of you here have never heard of the old cliffhanger serials from the 40's and 50's called commander cody, king of the rocketmen. Its a cheesey, simple scifi that was the inspiration for such movies as Rocketeer, Indiana Jones and Sky Captain etc. For more info, look here
  15. So this is where you accumulate your postings @loll@ You seem to rule these threads, they should really make you a moderator here. keep on truckin!!!
  16. Im trying to look for the pics where the cyberkey actually inserts into megatrons butt in beast mode. That was so funny @loll@
  17. i want MEGATRON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You know, I still think they can make a MP Megatron pistol IMO. If it was a question of it looking too real then instead of making it 1:1 scale, they can up the size and just make it 2:1 or 3:1 scale. I know its going to be a ridiculously huge gun, but hey... whatever works.
  18. The first one was definitely the better one. Did anyone get the special DVD case with the fake blood oozing inside? Yup, definitely watch it with a friend or love one @loll@
  19. Whoa! Thats awsome. I'm definitely getting one.
  20. I just got my jason x figure in today also and I have to say its one of the best one's they came out with so far. To think I almost cancelled my pre-order. The headsculpt is detailed and puts other jason figures to shame. You can almost see all the pores on his head. His eyes are f%^^&d up like theyre suppose to be and the shading is exceptional. The mask IS a Jason X mask (as oppose to the type Jason VII they had on sideshows' site) and they used a stiffer plastic this time. The paint is also nicely applied. There's also a texture to the mask not unlike stone which I think looks nice. I agree it may not be movie accurate, but with little modifications it can be. First off I assume none are you are fond of the base body sideshow uses (I think theyre too skinny). I tend to switch bodies around, but with head being a ball and socket type, it was next to impossible. My solution was to "fill" him in and bulk him up a bit. Sideshows' Big Boy body is big, but it lacks the bulk I feel. I simply got a tight fitting body suit (from one of my old 1/6 gi joes) and added cotton balls inside (the bodysuit) to fill in certain spots.. i.e. thighs, midsection and shoulders, etc. I put his costume back on and Viola!!! His body frame is just like mr hodder's. I also made the straight jacket a little bit more tattered (cutting it up a bit more) and even burned the bullet holes a bit with a lighter. Lolz. I dont even have this figure 24 hours and already I'm customizing it. This weekend I might replace his boots and get little tufts of hair to attach to his head (I may not glue per se', but maybe just have his mask straps hold them in place) I'll see if I can take pictures and post them within the next couple of days. ****Pictures below are of the "ACTUAL" product (not mine but are from the F13 forum.)****
  21. From that site: Yuppers!! He's in cahoots with Micheal Jackson alright!!
  22. Serves as a distraction? @loll@
