Luckily i havn't had any breakages yet but i've had a few mismatched parts, Green Lantern with two of the same arms from the wrist up to the bicep, a Black Manta with two left feet but no breakage(i had a couple TB ML/classics figs break on me though) a few super stuck joints here and there but they are usually fixed with hot water, my Raven had soem stuck joints but i got them unstuck(thankfully, her arms are so thing its scary) As for HasBRO's MLs, they've constantly gotten better(and hell, even some figures from the earlier waves were OK) heck, i'll put the IM1 and 2 6 inch lines and the 2 packs above anything Mattel's done(Hasbro also has female faces down much better now then Mattel)

Walmart mark something down??? @loll@ It happens more often then it does at TRU it seems anyway
-
Nah, see these have something the Gotham set didn't, unlimited use for GL customs, just pop off the heads and pop on another, yeah, these better be in the same numbers or better, other wise there gonna be even more complants from DCUC people
-
Wonder if Powergirl is still gonna be a allstar in that upcoming wave, she doesn't sell now at the current prices with a C&C piece, why would she with just a stand? DCUC may not last much longer at retail with current prices, WM being 15 and a half about and Target going to 16 and whats some TRUs at now? 17? While i do like this line and still want a few figures from it(Raven, also, i'd like Batman Beyond to be an allstar so i don't have to pay super stupid prices just to grab one) at this rate i just don't see it continuing as is.

I will say that they are very consistent to being as good looking to the rest of the DCUC females, while ML has bad and good, but i think the good ML females are still better looking then the DCUC gals. As for that wave, i wouldn't mind Blue Beetle(liked the suit on Batman TB&TB) Superboy myself. As for Cheeta i'm not sure...modern looks nice but classic is classic, but then again not exactly what i remember her looking like in super friends.

I got CS Snake Eyes and PP Snake Eyes today as gifts, both are very very nice, but i just seem to prefer PP even though its a movie design heh. Course CS has an issue(least mine does) the t bar is very loose in his crotch.

I picked up Bats, can say i happy with him, my DCUC 1 Bats is my Super Friends Bats and this one is my fave look from the animated series(i did mod his head just a tad) sure he's taller then most of my other DC figs(cept Cyborg Sups and Bizarro) but i can deal with that.

TNI Contest: Win A Set Of MOC G.I.Joe Hall Of Heroes Figs
AlphaPrime replied to JayC's topic in G.I. Joe
To me Gi Joe means team work, out smarting your enemy and giving out sometimes silly but useful public service announcements. -
The ML6 Wolverine sculpt is still really to tall to be honest(same for the ML12 one) they are just the closest they've gotten(AXM is too scrawny in the bulk department though) As for DCUC vs ML, some of Hasbro's and most of TBs MLs win hand down.

Has DC Universe Classics surpassed all other comic toy lines??
AlphaPrime replied to Lady Jaye's topic in DC Comics
I feel that this is the most overused statement around. The whole "People recognize Marvel over DC" I feel is just wrong. I think in the place of comic fandom it is probably correct. In the case of Joe Public I think one would find it is the opposite. I think if you just went to the everyday person on the street and showed them pictures of comic characters the ten most recognized would be (In no particular order: 1. Superman (Supergirl) 2. Batman (Robin) 3. Spiderman 4. Wonder Woman 5. Hulk 6. Captain America 7. Flash 8. Joker 9. Captian Marvel (Shazam is what they would call him) 10. Aquaman Only 3 Marvel characters make my list with DC getting an additional boost from the link of Robin and Supergirl to the DC big guns. Other characters might be recognized, but I would wager that there names would not be known like Wolverine, Doc Octopus, Dr. Doom, Green Arrow, or Green Lantern. Again, this is just my oppinion as I have not tried to prove my hypothisis. Shazam? ha! you forgot Wolverine and Iron Man, no way would they NOT come up. -

AlphaPrime replied to Lady Jaye's topic in DC Comics
Nah, atm ML(both TB and Hasbro) still surpasses DCUC by far, ML has better over all amount of artic(yes even the hasbro figures for the most part have more) better quality control(even the TB MLs) for the most part even ML has better paint, and of course ML had the better distribution. This could all change of course, since ML is taking a break for a while and DCUC will be carried by more and more WMs as time goes by. -
I actually like the looks of some MU figs and plan to get a few(mainly IMs and Wolverines hehe) but the 6 inch scale lines are still my main thing.

I can't believe anyone actually cares about the movie

Long haired blue and red Superman FTW! and maybe black and silver Sups also, rest? meh.
