  1. I guess the Superman/Parasite two pack was done to please Walmart, but honestly who wants another standard DCUC Superman and Parasite?
  2. He's a pass for me. Maybe if they had remolded the head to a more up to be design instead of keeping the throw back head I'd feel differently.
  3. He was originally $25 that doesn't seem like through the nose to me....I mean surely you're not suggesting Mattel would have to sell him at 50 bucks or something to make money on him? And how would retooling his hands be any different than them retooling Cyborg Superman's hands with the yellow Senstro Corps rings? Same goes for Mongul, as Mattel is retooling his hands to have the Senestro Corps rings. And They're both story specific versions of the characters....what would be different here?
  4. So here's the question. If Mattel was to remold the hands of their DC Universe Classics Lobo to now have all the different color lantern rings on his fingers would you buy him? I've been wanting a DC Universe Lobo for SO long now, but I'm just not willing to drop 90 bucks on one figure. I think doing a "Brightest Day" Lobo could be a good way to get the figure out again without shafting the people who have the original version while still allowing people that don't have him to get a second chance at him. Maybe he could be in the Green Lantern Classics line? What do you all think?
  5. To be fair I don't think any other online retailer has them as yet either. Not sure canceling the order and going anywhere else will get you the figures any quicker....but best of luck.
  6. That would be good, people do want the character and they want a big one. I can understand them not wanting to go beyond 30 inches but if they can sell a Tytus they can sell an 20 inch Anit-Monitor for about 50-55 bucks. I think Mattel is just a really cheap company, surprised they managed to do that 12 pack of Legion figures. If the Legion set does well, maybe they could package him with Harbinger, Monitor, Pariah, and a couple of Shadow Demons. I think at that point the price would be a bit too high for most people to justify in this economy....I mean people were complaining about how expensive the Green Lantern set of 5 were....much less a set of 5 plus a 20 inch figure. naw man I see people here buying large scale figures or other figures all the time those $8-10-15 figures you guy all the time add up & some people just buy the entire waves when they see them... hasbro did that large scale galactus figure it seems to be selling well... People would buy this ... Specially if they released a version or two as exclusive ... For sure, I don't doubt people would by a 20" Anti Monitor for $50, but I think a lot of people would pass on a 20" figure in a boxset that included five other normal size figures since the price would likely be way more than just 50 bucks. I think just selling a 20" Anti Monitor as a stand alone item would be the way to go.

  8. Way too early to be getting caught up in the sequel hype.
  9. I know, the forums have been pretty lackluster lately, none the topics have been jumping like they used to, even with new news. I really wish more people would of chimed in because we could certainly have it.
  10. It's a shame more people didn't chime in whether in favor or it or against it. Toy companies always say they visit forums, this thread could have been a good source of market research into how good an idea this really is.
  11. YES YES YES!!! I loved Crisis On Infinite Earths so I get him for sure. It would be nice if he came with an alternative chest piece that had the Sinestro Corps Logo so if you wanted you could also have him with the Sinestro Corps figures.
  12. Not interested in this Renegade repaint at all. Very meh. The regular black and blue version is much nicer looking.
  13. I have the blu-ray on pre-order from Amazon.com. But it isn't due out until the 28th of the month.
  14. It was the best site for Marvel Legends and DC Universe Classics pics. It's a shame no one asked Waiting for the images and hosted them on a new site. Waiting had taken so many pics, its a shame to think they're going to waste.
  15. Congrats on finding the set. If I didn't have the characters already in DC Direct form I'd pick up the set. The price is more than decent and most of the figures look pretty good. Hope you still plan to take some cool pics!
  16. I only care about Tomar and Guy (and I agree; Guy looks strange). I'm half hoping they will release a better version of him in the GL line (but I doubt it). I bet they'll reissue him in the GL line, but it will be the same figure and they'll have a Red Lantern variant (with the same head...lol).
  17. The price really isn't that bad though if you really think about it....I mean it works out to $12 a figure.
  18. I already have most of these guys in DC Direct form so I'll pass on them. I still need to get John Steward, but I'll get the Blackest Night version, this Mosaic version was not very cool and too much of a want time thing.
