  1. Yeah, I think DC Collectibles did a good job matching the source material. I just think DC Comics went too far with what they did with Joker. He looks like a horror movie character, which too me just isn't cool for Joker. I'm not sure why they'd do that for their main comic series. A one off mini-series fine, but for the main series, they just went too far.
  2. I feel your pain. This one is barely bigger than the 1992 Kenner one. Mattel jumping on, yet again, another wasted opportunity. **sigh**
  3. I have NO interest in Leatherface...ah...I mean New 52 Joker.
  4. For what they are, they're ok. But I'm not interested, they're a pass for me.
  5. I've been wanting a Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman forever now, but I have no interest in getting a 4" scale version. @grumpy@
  6. The kids will likely dig 'em, but they're a pass for me.
  7. The figure looks great...but seems doubtful I'll end up getting him (sadly).
  8. Shazam looks really craptastic. His torso and hips just look so wrong. On a 3 3/4" scaled figure I'd give that a pass, but on a 6-7", that's a joke.
  9. "Size matters not, Look at me. Judge me by size, do you?" - Yoda
  10. He looks pretty for a what is basically just a repaint with a new head....he's not amazing like he could have been with a totally original sculpt, but he's far from bad so I can't knock him.
  11. Do you have pics of them next to other figures? Will have a review of Nightwing posted later today. Hush Nightwing for me...not that I have him. lol
  12. So what, you guys pretty much missed the last 4 years of Smallville? Never watched an episode. lol
  13. I've yet to see a Nightwing figure that I like as much as the Hush Nightwing.
  14. Superman looks pretty good, but I'll have no problem passing on the others...really not feeling them.
  15. Completely with you on the Joker...REALLY not digging what they've done to him. I'm not against change, but damn this is just too much, too over the top horror movie-esk to me.
  16. Well, I do. They'll get more money that way. LOL, true. Still kind of annoying.
  17. Using the MOTU body parts was actually pretty smart and worked out really well. Before seeing the figure I wouldn't have guess it would have worked out as well as it has. I think he turned out better than the Batman in the DC Direct boxset.
  18. The 7-pack REALLY annoys me. We already got a 7-pack with Batman, Aquaman & Flash...and in single boxed form as well. Honestly don't see why DC Direct would feel the need to push these characters onto us AGAIN. And if its true that this is the only way to get the Catwoman, this really sucks. The Black Adam looks really good though...from Infinite Crisis and 52, he's been one of my fav. bad guys.
  19. To be honest i would be so happy with gi joe in 6 inch but it can wait right now. Star wars, motuc and marvel legends are back on track and its not that these get less expensive either, lol. #Truth (hashtags, gotta love 'em)
  20. It's kinda hard to imagine they can keep the price of Metroplex to $125...but I sure as hell hope they can! His Alt modes are kinda meh to me, but honestly, who cares, his Bot mode is just amazing!
  21. Honestly, I've been wanting/waiting for Star Wars and G.I. Joe to come out with 6" lines for what seems like forever! So all I can say is ABOUT TIME!!! Hope we'll soon see some classic Real American Hero 6" Joes soon.
  22. They're amazing. The metallic paint, is really eye catching. Their sculpts also look great. Their scale is what really keeps me from picking them up....in a way I prefer them to the DC Direct figs. But I like size of the DC Direct figures better, so I'm just gonna stick with them.
