  1. I'm digging the New 52 Batgirl and New 52 Nightwing. No interest in the other stuff.
  2. To each his own, but these are a total and easy pass for me.
  3. Overall they look pretty good. I'll get them for sure.
  4. Hey peeps, does anyone have a photo (or could take one) of the DC Direct Last Son Superman next to the DC Collectibles New 52 Superman and post it here? Thanks.
  5. He seems ok. The sculpt looks good and the design doesn't bother me, but I'm not wowed or anything...but I guess that's more on DC Comics than DC Collectibles.
  6. The New 52 Earth Batman and Flash really didn't turn out right at all...seems like the designers tried way too hard.
  7. Overall I guess he looks good, he's sculpted really well for sure. But honestly, the wings really seems a bit silly to me and wish they could come off. The wings sort of highlight the problem with New 52. The designers just never seem to know when to stop. Why DC Collectibles didn't allow the wings to be removable is beyond me. I think the Marvel Legends Swamp Thing from a few years back looks better...I guess it isn't the same character, but still to my eye he looks cooler.
  8. Have to be honest, I'm not really digging these figures too much. I might pick up the Superboy, but his head sculpt is not so nice, so I'm not too sure.
  9. With the lack of reaction to this show I don't think anybody cares Truth be told I never saw even one episode. I think I saw a trailer or two for it. It just didn't seem all that interesting, at least not enough for me to go out of my way to catch an episode. Also I'm not a huge fan of how stylized they went with the designs...that was a bit of a turn off for me.
  10. Taken as a whole, he looks pretty epic....but looking at it, you have to say the design is seriously flawed. I honestly can't see how a human body can fit in that armor...where does his limbs fit? Surely not in the limbs of the armor?!
  11. Am I the only one that HATES Mattel's hips & t-crotch on their female figures? If Mattel ever does another 6" collector friend action figure series I hope they can come up with something better. Anyways, the Catwoman looks pretty decent overall, (not counting the already mentioned hips issue that all Mattel's non-skirt wearing female figures suffer from) but her not coming with the mask is a real let down.
  12. To each his own, but I cant say I found that clip particularly funny...quite the opposite in fact.
  13. I never trust trailers, but still, it does look pretty good. Really wish they would change Superman's personality....he comes off as a bit of a tool 90% of the time.
  14. He looks pretty good....sort of wish he was a bit shorter, like say 9" tall. Not a deal breaker or anything. I'll pick him up for sure!
  15. He looks great, would go along perfectly with those Return of Bruce Wayne figures DC Collectible put out.
  16. Not gonna happen. I'd so love to see them do a 6" - 6.5" ARAH line. If the quality is there I'm more than willing to pay the same amount as what DC Collectibles and NECA figures go for. I'd get all the main Cobra characters for sure....and some of the main Joe's as well.
  17. She looks pretty good, but to be honest I really don't feel the need to get her. She's a pretty easy pass for me.
  18. I'll give them credit for more or less capturing the look of the G1 cartoon, but beyond that, they're pretty uninspired. @hmmm@
  19. Maybe I'm too old for this cartoon, but that video clip just didn't seem that funny too me....to each his own I guess. @smilepunch@
  20. Yeah, its a darn shame those days are gone. Its still nice that they do BAFs...even though now they're super small...not really a sales hook for me now.
  21. Tell me about it! Really not sure which way to go, both look really good. Will have to think about it for a bit.
  22. To each his own I guess, but they're not really my cup of tea.
