  9. This really happened today (I kid you not)... On my way to work this morning, I had some time to kill, and the local Target was just about to open. So I figured it was as good as time as any to check out the old Star Wars aisle. Out front were two older "gentlemen" (mid to late 50's) waiting for the store to open. Now I had overheard the two of them talking about Hot Wheels and die-cast cars (which is nothing new...there's always hot wheel guys outside stores before they open). It is now 7:58am and this guy (mid 30's) comes walking up and stands directly behind the two old dudes (I'm talking right on their asses)... Now I'm leaning against the wall, so I think nothing of it. As the store opens, I expect to see these three run towards the toy aisles...but nothing like that happens. They walk in just like everyone else. One of the older dudes goes straight to the hot wheels... as expected. As I turn the corner of the action figure aisle, I am in total shock and awe. Apparently Target decided to put out the new "Geonosis wave" of Star Wars figures and I see that older dude #2 and the younger guy are already there. These two "TOY BASTARDS" were literally fighting over these figures.. they were pushing and shoving each other and yelling at one another. After watching this for about 30 seconds (which seemed like forever) I finally added my two cents.. "What the hell are your guys doing? You're fighting over f@#king toys!" They both stopped and looked at me, as if I was the one doing something wrong! The younger guy was the first to come out of the toy aisle clutching an armful of figures (looking very similar to Gollum holding "his precious"). The old dude comes walking around the corner ready to start in on the younger one again, but before he could, I interrupted and asked sarcastically " are there any Scorches left"? To my surprise (and to the surprise of the other guy , who apparently didn't get one), the old dude offers me one of the three Scorches he had in his hand. The other guy's jaw dropped and he looked pissed! I thanked the old dude and raced to the front checkout and then I was off to work... I saw good and evil today in that toy aisle. But throughout all what happened today in that Target, one thing sticks in my mind......I GOT ME A SCORCH.....HELLS YA!!
