  1. http://cgi.ebay.com/1985-GI-Joe-Cobra-Flig...1QQcmdZViewItem i cannot believe these are worth that much!
  2. i like the outback and the airtight (even though i still think he looks like a pilot). the night viper looks really cool to me except for the color, it just doesnt look right to me.
  3. if you order more than $30 and use google checkout, they'll take $10 off the price, BUT the green shirt 6 packs say temporarily not available online.
  4. i NEVER get tired of looking at collection pics. thanks for sharing guys! falcon, i like the pics with your cat in them!! this is the only stuff i have on display besdies 3 hiss tanks and a stinger in another location. (many have seen this one before as ive posted it before)
  5. http://forums.toynewsi.com/index.php?showtopic=2028370
  6. i did. its like 3 12" joes and one of them is sitting on a cool looking go kart.
  7. congrats on the upcoming event, tm and obi! my name is layne. my sceenname is a shortened version of my last name. i live in brookings, sd. i work in a factory that make wooden playground equipment for kids. married, no kids (yet! we have to move to a bigger house first perhaps next year). i got into joes a few years back,i was collecting a variety of toys back then and when i saw the reissued joes at toys-r-us, my nostalgia juices started flowing and ive gone almost exclusively joes since. i also collect mcfarlane sports statues and comic books. in the summer i play golf and i watch A LOT of sports on tv (footbal, baseball, hockey and action sports). i also am a music junkie and have over 800 cds. this was the only pic of me i could find on the pc. ill scan a better one. this is me standing by the tetherball pole from the movie 'napoleon dynamite' when we were on vacation last summer.
  8. my tru (sioux falls, sd) was COMPLETELY cleaned out of joe stuff. all that was on the shelves were 3 of the lady jaye comic pack, a couple of the 2.5" packs and 2 of the hydrofoils which have been rotting there for 2 years now. no other joe stuff AT ALL! last week the shelves were at least stocked. the power team stuff looked pretty picked over too.
  9. wow! where to begin! i really like your work there. some favorite: the oktober guard was sweet, that cobra commander was really tight, i remember that serpentor form a while back and was amazed all over again. and i REALLY dig your MOTU customs. the paint jobs on those are RAD!! thanks for sharing.
  10. i really like both of them, but i think i prfer the first cuz his belts and such stand out and look more detailed. but i understand making them darker for stealthiness! nice job on both. i always dig your ml style customs.
  11. wow! that is really good. i wasnt sure how that was gonna turn out from the before pic and then i scrool down and voila! it looks great. nice work.
  12. Wow, talk about suspicious... I wonder if Ebay would even allow such an auction, if they knew about it? well, since they let some lady sell her dad's cane possessed by his "ghost", im sure they'll allow this nondescript one.
  13. WOW! great find! your doing the right thing by donating a 'good chunk' of it. use the rest to buy yourselves an lcd big screen for christmas, or take a trip (just my suggestions!). the other stories where quite interesting too. that kind of stuff never happens to me.
  14. On the other hand, it may drive down prices, not having anything new to hype up interest in the line as a whole. perhaps, i guess my first thought was that we'd all be fighting over the same peices on evilbay. i do see your point, though, as it was the ARAH reissues back in 97 that revived my interest in joes (prior to that i was buying all kinds of random toy lines)
  15. vintage, like everybody else. (which would probably drive up vintage prices)
  16. ive bought from him before and was more than happy with his grading and descriptions.
  17. nice work, your ml joes are always topnotch!
  18. thats a great lokking team you got there. thanks for sharing your great pics.
  19. i suppose next week we'll see an afa 12" talking duke!
  20. See, he looks more like Jesus to me. I can hear him on the battlefield yelling: "Prepare to meet my dad!" and "No forgiveness for Cobras!" and "What would I do? I would shoot some Cobras!" @loll@ that made my day! thanks! i like them, but airtight looks like a pilot to me.
  21. funny! i never even noticed the posting dates! @doh@
  22. nice work on all of these. i really like the dialtone and guillotine. keep it up.
  23. youve been busy! nice work on all. i like the james bond, s.w.a.t. guy and shipwreck the best of them all. the gold on destros head looks a little too gold for my taste. keep it up.
