wow thanks for sharing that site. now i can catch those old marvel joe issues that are holes in my collection!
-
i dont remember He-man ever having near the shelf space of SW, Joe or TF. when i went to the toy sroes or toy depts. Joe and TF had their own aisles (i even remember Joes sometimes have TWO aisles!) and TF having most of an aisle, but never seeing He-Man having any more than a section in the stores. Im old enough to remember SW hitting the market and seeing that have a couple of aisles in stores, so i would say that He-Man would have to be last.

You all have amazing collections! I like the grouping and the line up of all these.
Nice pics. My collection isn't worth posting compared to a lot of yours. @smilepunch@ @smilepunch@
Size matters not. I like to look at collection pics mostly to see interesting ways to display your figures.
i second that. ive seen some pretty cool displays that were just a few figures...

hi all! i used to post here about two years back. then my wife had a kid and i had to put my g.i. joe hobby on hiatus. now we just bought a house and i will be getting a room to display all my stuff (i'm SO excited!). so that has rekindled my interest in joes.
last week i saw an ad for an auction that had some joe stuff, so i went to check it out. i drove two hours (one way) and stood for 6 hours in the hot sun (and got a nice burn on the back of my neck!) but i was able to get a 99% complete skystriker (its only missing one missle - it even has both parachutes and the blueprint) as well as some othe assorted joe stuff for $10!!!!
heres ome pics
the third pic labeled "backpack" im not really sure wht it is. it looks like a backpack from a firefly halloween costume, but i cant find anything on yojoe right now as to its origin.

Firecrackers....nuff said
that was mine, too! sadly enough, it was my straight armed joes that got it first!

i dint read anyones post so as not to copy anything.
what g'i' joe means to me is i get to become a kid again. i get the excitement of opening a new figure and putting all his accessories on and posing him in cool poses. i, as an adult collectoram able to get the things i couldnt have as a child. i stand and look at the display of toys i have and it instantly takes me back to my parents backyard with my childhood friends werethe valient g.i. joe forces fought the evil tyranny of cobra for hours. it is a connection to who i was as a kid and who i am today as an adult.

i like the color of the c. commander and that IG looks pretty sweet. id like to see it all 'geared up'. but that gungho head looks absoluty horrid.

what can i say? too awesome for words! you are one of the dio-makers that inspire me to make one of my own. i still have a ways to go to even get it off the ground, but one day it will see the light. again, you are one of the best!!!!!

nice. that stalker looks downright mean! i love it!

13. Vehicle customs-Kinda self explanatory… Make your own vehicle, either updated or all new(kinda combining all the vehicle ideas right now).
i like the idea of custom vehicles.

about 70% of my collection has come this way. one time i got 80+ figures (most complete and with tight joints yrs 85-90) and about 10 vehicles/laystes for $200 at a garage sale. i bought everything the lady had.
probably the all-time steal deal was a 90% complete u.s.s. flagg for $25 at an auction. i was able to finish it with parts form ebay for a grand total of around $100.
it is so much fun to get a deal like that. it makes my heart race!
