    Tomarts

More like I have never made your customs look better! @smilepunch@ MATT
  2. Impressive. . . most impressive. MATT
  3. I am almost finished with a rebuild of a Rattler as well, I need one more part the center tail "engine" that snaps on. I shaved down the landing gear "t-bar" and the corrisponding part on the underside that the landing gear snaps into. They are not loose by have much less friction on them. They now work and that is even after repairing the landing gear that was broken. I will get some pics taken to show if anyone is interested. MATT

    Tomarts

In the newest Tomarts there is a couple of pages from the Con and my dio is in it. It is the Budda temple scene. @bounce@ MATT
  5. I buy multiples of almost everything. In vintage joes I am trying for two complete sets, one for each of my boys. I also have a 3rd of several that will go on my dio table when I have the chance to finally work on it. I also usually buy two of the newer figures if I want to open one and keep the other moc. The other multiples are my troop builders and my origional 82 and 82-83 figures. Call me strange but they are still my fav and I can not resist them. MATT

    WIP who am I?

"Who am I?" You Aly, me MATT! @smilepunch@ As always great work! MATT
  7. He said click on his thingy!!! @loll@ @loll@
  8. This year at Con I tried selling complete weapon sets but they did not go over great. However I did sell several sets and it did lead to sells of individual weapons though. I would always sell what is left or trade for items that I need. MATT
  9. I am looking for the title to a GI Joe cartoon that featured Zartan on board a space station and several of the joes are forced labor abort it. It also has these creatures that I think were called Fatal Fluffies? They changed from small "cute" Gizmo creatures into these large horned, whip cracking beasts constantly muttering "work". So what episode is/was it? Thanks, MATT

    Gi Joes MIA

I bet we see them (for sale) at the con. MATT
  11. What are you looking for? I have a bucket of extra missle parts. MATT
  12. As far as matching the OCS HISS it is almost 100%. And yes TM it will be for sell at the Con along with a few other item I have done. Pics to follow later. MATT
  13. I painted this up a few weeks ago. I still need to get stickers for it though. What do you think? MATT
  14. Like Rev said, I'd go with some foam board from walmart(it's cheap there, if you go to an office store(office max/depot... it's like 3x as much) anyway, and look for a scrap booking store in your area and see if they have "brick" print, glue that on the foam boards and it makes an awesome awesome wall... some craft stores also have Doll house stuff, rummage around and you can find some cool things... check out this pic, I used the foamboard and scrap booking paper idea here and I even found a doll house window with working window, lol... As for caves and earth structures, I'd look into hardware stores and get a big l' bucket of that stuff they put on walls to cover up holes(my cousin calls it "mud" so I dont know the real name, lol)... also, some hobby stores have pre-made molds that you can pour plaster of paris into and make rock like structures... or they make stuff that you can pour on something, it'll dry and you peel it off and then can pour the plaster in it and make some pretty cool outdoor settings... check if your local hobby store has a model train section, they have some real cool things, from fake trees, to grass, foliage... even these cool plastic beeds you heat up in a pot... then pour it in a section to make a river or lake, and when it hardens, it looks like water... some real cool things there... Hope this helps, -Joe There is another way if you are wanting a larger terrian area. Use the sheets of pink insalation foam (not fiberglass). They come in 1/4" and 1/2" thick sheet and are the size of plywood sheets. Cut out the size and shape you want and then paint the whole thing with sand texture paint. Do not spray paint the raw foam it melts! Them paint and drybrush as wanted. I have used this method with friends on award winning dios at the con (2nd place group 2004, 1st and 2nd medium 12" dios 2004 and modified for mine 1st 3 3/4" in dio 2004). I will be using this again this year for my dio for the con. MATT
  15. I wish these were true! That would be a great set. More troopers but with a new twist. I know we are seeing more of the troopers than ever before but the vintage ARAH style is still a fav for me. MATT
  16. I think that we all would agree that vintage weapons help drive the price/value of complete vintage figures. Also knowing that a large majority of "collectors" are looking more for weapons to buy in order to complete figures rather than to buy another figure that is complete. Why don't more "dealers" just sell off the parts? The sum of the parts sold separately would be more than selling the complete figure. Also where is the best place to turn for specific parts? MATT
  17. All I have seen in the Dallas area stores are single packs wave 2 and a few 3. The comic packs #6, 27, 75 and the DD #16. The only viechle seen as been the repaint Ice Sabre. Still seen some 6 packs every so often. I wish that locally they would get in some wave one singles and HISS tanks. But overall glad to see at least some Joes at retail stores again. MATT
  18. Those are great ideas. I love the idea of Fatal Fluffies. Their names are almost too fun to type! But I would love to see some one attempt these. MATT
  19. I know how that can be put to a good use! @hmmm@ MATT
  20. I have not seen anything in the Dallas area TRUs yet - Mesquite, Alington, Duncanville. MATT
  21. As always your work is great! I like it the way it is. MATT

    Ninjas

Okay I think everybody knows that Hasbro loves to sell ninjas and must of us know who the main/title individuals are associated with; ie SS, Slice, Slash are Cobra and SE, Jinx are Joe. And we know that Night Creepers and Ninja Vipers are associated with Cobra. But who do they and the Red Ninjas and "the" Red Ninja owe aligence to? Cobra Commander only, Stormshadow, Snake-eyes? What do you think/feel? MATT
  23. Alyosha's custom looked tons better than this and he should get credit for it. Check it out here it is in the third picture. MATT
