  1. Last night I finally found the Jungle Strike and the Sky Sweeper. They were at Target for $15. Surch all of DFW nothing go to OKC and there all up here. Go figure smaller market more new stuff. To bad there is not a single KB anywere in Oklahome. MATT
  2. I diagree KB is not a major retailer anymore. There are many state without even a single KB any longer and the KB stores that you do find are poorly stocked and the place looks like hell. I'm sorry, I dislike the big box retails policies as much as the next guy but KB as of late royally sucks. This set should have gone to TRU so that everyone would have a better chance for it and those of us that choose online ordering could get it. And I still very seriously doubt that I will ever get the 3 that I ordered online. MATT
  3. Again I am still very concerned about finding them. There are a few KB in the area but as of yet they are still a no show. If someone finds an abundance of them in there area could they help me out? MATT
  4. The family dollars in the area arround me are starting to show up with them regularly now. If someone needs help finding these just let me know what you are looking for and pay for the shipping and I will be glad to help out. MATT
  5. Can I just say that KB sucks on this one! I ordered on the 1st and still no change on my order. I think that these are going to be tough to find in some parts of the country. Congrats to thoses of you that have found them though! Anyone what to help a guy out? MATT
  6. I have 10 sets of the Cobra Troopers (sold 4 others to friends) 2 sets of RED Ninjas 10 sets of the BATS and Snow Wolf 8 of the single pack BATS 6 each of the CLAWS, IG, NEOVIPER single packs and ordered 3 of the CG sets from KB with plans to buy 2 more. MATT
  7. The ponytail from her was used to create the hair for my custom Buzzer that I used in my Joe Convention dio. MATT http://afigures.com/g/?mode=view&album=200...ze=800&start=15
  8. I will say it again. The price cut was a temp appology for not having the product in store for almost a year. It was/is an attempt to get us and the kids back in the store to buy the product. Restart the habit of going to WM first and paying the "lowest" price. It was a marketing stragity and if you are going back to WM over and over to look for the newest stuff it worked and now they are making up the profit difference from before. And how many of use will go in looking for joes and leave and not buy anything? Not just not buy a joe, but not buy ANYTHING. That is how marketing works. MATT
  9. Last weekend my wife made a great find 6 of the TRU cobra soldier six packs. That's right a solid case of them! And them to top it off at the flea market I found a Short fuse closed handled mortor in a small box of joes! The toy gods smiled upon me.
  10. Without TRU the toy market as a whole will greatly suffer. Why do you think Walmart can/will sell joes at $5. Because they are choosing to take a LOSS on that item. They may not make as much/any on some products but because they have and continue to control other market areas (remember toys are not the only items in their stores unlike TRU/ KB) and make up the difference of profit loss in those areas. Look back at just last Christmas and some of the extreamly low prices they offered on toys, electronics, and small appliances. Why do that? Because when you come in there for that item you are more likely to pick up another item that has a huge markup on it. Any speciality store like TRU does not have other areas of high mark up to make up losses. And don't kid your self Wallyworld would NEVER carry the multipack items for $20 period. If they would what happened to the Walmart multipack form last year? Why do you think that towns fight Walmart coming into town the way they do? Because they will take anybody out that is not willing to bow down to their might, which they control with the dollar. Don't get me wrong I buy from TRU, KB, Target, and Walmart and looking at the prices there is rarely more than a $1 to $2 dollar difference on smaller items. By the time you drive all over town to 3 or 4 walmarts or pay shipping charges when ordering online you have spent that difference more than once. Long live TRU and the exclusives! MATT
  11. VETERANS DAY WEEKEND Saturday, November 13 10 AM to 7 PM Sunday, November 14 10 AM to 6 PM TexasGIJoeShow.com It is at the Space Center Houston. MATT
  12. Title says it all. Anyone going to the Houston GI Joe show in November?
  13. I am further north near Dallas (Ennis) and alyosha is about an hour drive away from my place. There is also a friend of mine here in town that I have rehooked onto small joes. There are a few others in the metro area that we know up in this area. MATT
  14. Ahh. Thanks. I would have bought some in Mexico if it had not been for the fact that they were around $10 a piece. I was hoping to get some here one day for cheaper. Guess that's not gonna happen, considering I live in Texas. I found lots of the single card figures here in Texas (Dallas). And if anyone needs help I would be glad to help. And if CVS is going to be the place to get the new series there may be hope. CVS bought Ecards(sp?) from JCPenneys about a year ago and I have noticed that several of them now have signs up saying they will be changing to CVS.
