I still have my Gobots collection from when I was little. While IMO they pale in comparison to the Transformers, I do still like them.

Nice little comparison gallery, love the old and new Darth Vader figures at the end (nice touch). But already I have two POTF2 Vader Tie Fighters so I'll skip this new one.

Devastator is a huge let down for a $100 toy.

Ratbat looks awesome.

The local Wal Mart here has none left. $64 is a good price for that beast.

I have my fingers crossed that Hasbro will release him eventually, but I don't want to get my hopes up.

Sideswipe is awesome in both modes. Starscream is another story. His alt mode is fantastic, very sleek and a great improvement from the first one. The bot mode on the other hand just looks off. His stubby legs and even wider hips makes him look rather dumpy. But I give Hasbro a lot of credit for adding so much detail to him.

It's a very cool trailer, dark and moody. I can't wait to see the next one.

Welcome back DB! Sounds like this is a line you can't stay away from (no matter how hard you try). This time I would stay pretty focused and goal orientated at first. This way you don't end up with a bunch of bots that you'll lose interest in over time. Start by collecting a favorite character, or maybe just pick up what you consider the best version of any given character across all the lines. Most importantly though, have fun with it. But I must say, if you only get one Animated toy, make it Leader Class Megatron. He is awesome.
