  1. I had to vote for Gran Turismo 4. I love the series, and the addition of B-Spec is great to get those endurance races done with. The Photo Mode is such a time consumer (in a good way), you almost have to make yourself do the actual races.
  2. I should have this on VHS somewhere still (I hope I do). I remember watching it quite a bit as a kid. I liked it then, I don't know how I'd feel now though.
  3. I really like MB's original B/W drawings, but the color really adds a nice dimension to them. Kudos to both of you.
  4. Man, that is awesome. I hope you figure out some way to sell some copies of your stuff, because it's all so good.
  5. From my understanding, the re-release is the same without the bonus disc and a new box.
  6. Can't wait to see some more of this game. If there is a new Gran Turismo game & this at launch. I might just need to quit my job to make time.
  7. Congrats on the score GSR, what store did you find the 501 at? I went to a few this morning and found remnants of that wave, but no 501. I picked them up at a WM
  8. I love Black Friday. I never go expecting to find any good toys around this time (though I did finally find the 501st Troopers this morning), but I just go for the cheap video games & DVDs.
  9. If you hadn't already taken it back to the store, I'd say just try doing Instant action or galactic conquest. The only objectives there are to outlast the enemy or control all the command posts. It sounds like you're playing in Rise of the Empire mode; there are yellow areas on the screen that tell you where to go, the important thing is shoot the enemies before they can shoot you. I love this game, it is definitely a huge improvement over the first. Yes it can be pretty repetitive, which does keep me from eating up huge chunks of time with it, but I don't regret buying it.
  10. that is frickin' sweet. I wonder how much memory it has. I would love one of those.
  11. I think Sony needs to push the Blu-Ray aspect of the system, especially to developers. If they start getting the cross-platform games to need more and more space, it will more than likely end up hurting the 360. 8Speed, all that stuff sounds great. I can't wait to see what it can really do. I'd like to see the Bluetooth used extensively. I don't know if this is all possible, but a BT headset (if you're controller is wireless, why shouldn't your online headset be also); if you've got the BT headset, and you've got a BT phone, it could flash on screen who's calling; if Sony was to come out with an MP3/PVP player that was BT enabled, you could use it for your soundtrack without wires. I expect to see more of an XBox Live style of online system. I expect the Cell processor to not be a waste of technology.
  12. Isn't this series going to end with Republic #80? I can't remember what the new one will be called though.
  13. I hope these aren't SWS exclusives though. I'm guessing that Vader statue is the one they showed at Comic-Con. It's the same as the regular one, but it's chrome with a light-up lightsaber & costs ~$325.

    Bustups

yeah, I know I should get the variant now, but I'm just not very interested in it. It's such a minor change, you have to be up close to even tell which one is which. As for the 4-packs, there are 2 one is exclusive to StarWarsShop, and the other is available at some other places, but I've only seen it at SWS & EE. SWS exclusive Battle-Damaged 4-pack Clone Trooper bust-ups 4-pack
  15. Those pictures are awesome. Keep up the good work.

    Bustups

BigBadToyStore has them in stock except the variant Anakin & they have a picture of the Clone with a blaster. I got them all for about ~$2-$3 cheaper than retail. The other clone with a rifle should be coming in the 4-pack available at SWS. Now I just need to decide if I want the variant Anakin.
  17. the Vader one is the one from Burger King and is for sale at SWS for $500. I've heard about the Jedi Starfighter, but haven't yet looked for one. Couple months ago, I found an inflatable lightsaber at Wal*Mart that lights up.
  18. This is the one piece I told myself I wanted from them. Master Replica's AT-AT is nice, but it's definitely out of my price range (for now). I really want to see some pics, but I'm pretty sure it will end up looking nice. I've just got too much going on in the 2nd quarter and summer of next year: -GG Darth Maul statue -GG Luke & Tauntaun statue -SS Premium Format Leia -SDCC -PS3? those who are unfamiliar with their other die-cast models, check out Code 3's webpage.
  19. these are all the deals I can remember off the top of my head Wal*Mart -electronic lightsabers $8 Target (already mentioned) -Star Wars Ultimate Lightsaber with Free Darth Vader Cape $22.00 -Lego Star Wars (PS2 or XBox) $20 -Lego Millennium Falcon $50 Sears -25% off all Lego K-Mart (already mentioned) -buy one get one free Star Wars 3 3/4 figures -all Legos buy one get one 50% off Last year I picked up the Lego AT-AT for $50, and it is definitely worth the $100 regular price. I ended up getting the Falcon for $25, and it's also worth the regular price.
  20. it's very green, I don't have the first one, but a lot of people have said this one is much greener.
  21. They are definitely cool. I've played around with them at stores and cons the last couple of years, but it really didn't prepare me for how cool it was when I finally bought one. I've got the 2nd gen Luke saber from Borders. It lights up the room completely; if the power went out, I'd grab this instead of a candle. here it is on it's stand lit-up with the flash on flash off AND, here's me on Halloween
  22. I got charged on Saturday and they shipped yesterday, should be here tomorrow.
  23. I'm pretty sure these won't be sold at Target stores, just the website. If you've got them ordered at BBTS, check your mail. I got an e-mail this morning telling me they've had redesign their site and had to cancel all existing pre-orders. So I had to go and re-pre-order them. But alas, they no longer have a flat shipping rate; but it was still only like $7.25 to ship em.

    Bustup Fans

by the picture shown, it looks like the Vader that's been released, if it was actual new bust-up, I'd be tempted, but now I'm not
  25. Well since Hasbro owns the rights to make SW toys in the U.S., Tomy can't sell the remote control R2 here. Hasbro would have to work something out with them, to bring it over here and produce more. Which means new packaging (since the current one is in Japanese), and restarting the machines. It would take around 6 months to make more, so they would've had to start back in April to have these in stores by November. It looks like it's still available to order now, and you don't have to be a hyperspace member anymore. It may have been cool to kids, but most of us collector's are just big kids anyways and StarWarsShop still has these available to order 2 months after they went on sale. These haven't even flown off the e-shelves.
