Here's another pic of the next five pack. I dont know if this picture has been out before but i was just wondering what people thought of these figures. They are getting a LOT of use out of the cobra soldier mold. I really dont like CC and Storm Shadow. After all, this is the 25th anniversary right? They should have given us a teal storm shadow and a mickey mouse CC. THAT would have been cool. I'd say it goes like this for me.... I started with about 20 gi joes from my older brother....i started going to flea markets and picking up loose figs and vehicles. The rest is history haha. I actually never bought any original RAH joes in the store. The first joe i got at retail was one of the space figures from the early nineties. -saboteur

This silver emblem trooper will be viper pilots. Kinda stupid of hasbro cause they should have put THIS figure in the five pack as a viper pilot, and then put the trooper on singles, but whatever. I still love viper pilots (and army build the vintage ones) so i will be picking up a few of these. I still havent found ANYTHING at retail-but then again i havent been looking very hard. -saboteur

they should have done an updated blue suit 15 pack with a few of these females. A whole squad of females just makes no sense... I like the allusion to GI Joe #1 too. i'm seriously considering passing on these...the only thing i DEFINITELY will do is cast some of those torso's and heads up for blue suits. -saboteur

This is true...if it was MOC (i was assuming that it was sealed in a baggie), then AFA could confirm that someone didnt just reseal an extra pistol in there. Still...if it clearly wasnt resealed then i would never send it to afa. To one and each their own i guess though. -saboteur

My thoughts: Black suited cobra troops- this sucks because they will not blend in w/my army of original cobra soldiers and officers. Tanks- could be very cool, is the mauler mold still around anyone know??? -saboteur

Ok, what i should have said, was that Nick Fury was the proposed founder of gi joe in its BEGINNING STAGES. It eventually went off of this track...the point is, Hamma's intent was to have gi joe a part of marvel. sorry for the miscommunication. -saboteur

Well, the thing that always stuck out in my mind was this issue with all the marvel characters around snake eyes... Plus, the whole gi joe vs. transformers run, they've gotta be. Nick Fury started gi joe after all!! I can definitely see what your saying though...i mean, why arent there superheros all over the place in the comics, and why is gi joe never really mentioned in any military aspects of any other marvel comics. -saboteur
