  1. Man, isn't it Independence Day yet?! I WANT TO SEE THE MOVIE ALREADY! That is all.
  2. How do you know that's actually a Jetfire KO? It could just be a KO of the VF-1S.
  3. No, Megs MIGHT be Hugo Weaving (who was Smith, not Mr. Anderson). I think he'd make a good Megs, personally. Peter Cullen has already been confirmed (a while ago, in fact) as Optimus Prime.
  4. Worst. Auctions. Ever. Also, I'm halfway to being able to make my own custom member title! Yippee!
  5. Sweet... Me want. Me want them a LOT... @yipee@
  6. I finally found Classics Jetfire yesterday in the new Walmart in Commack. I had been looking for the guy for WEEKS!
  7. Meh. Smokestacks make no difference to me. It's not like they're an integral part of his character.
  8. Meh. I actually play with my TFs, so I'd rather get Alternators Nemesis Prime, for three reasons: 1. "Nemesis Prime" sounds a lot better than "Black Convoy". 2. I don't want to deal with paint chipping. 3. BT Black Convoy weighs too much to be played with.
  9. Cool. I hope Hasbro releases them here. #US1# If ya look closely, you can see that they're wearing the shoes they transform into! They should make other TFs to "pair" with these guys. For OP, make Ultra Magnus, and for Megatron, do Megaplex.
  10. Hasbro IS smart. How else would you explain the Classics line? But yeah, I agree. Hasbro, release this guy sans mp3, RIGHT NOW! #US1#
  11. Gun mode...A.K.A. "Why Hasbro will be unable to release this figure here in the U.S." Of course, even if they did successfully release it, say, by painting the tip of the barrel orange, most of us would probably be up in arms about it. Also...No more trigger-crotch in bot mode! Yeehaw!
  12. With a little repainting and decal removal, I think these guys could serve as the pre-Earth forms for the following cassette-bots: Green robot: Frenzy; Rumble Light blue bird-thing: Laserbeak Pink (?!) Lion: Ravage (with a little remolding) Hey, don't insult these guys by comparing them to Rock Lords!
  13. Well, if memory serves me right, I believe that the wings, tailfins and fists were all separate pieces that had to be removed and replaced as needed for transformations, so yeah...blow up. Not to mention they were bricks (granted, you could say that about most of G1), were horridly proportioned, and they just plain had too many pieces you could lose... Need I say more?
  14. The G1 seekers. I mean, seriously, who today would want a toy that you have to blow up to transform? (Well, besides for the nostalgia factor)
  15. The figures themselves are cool; the KISS concept...ew. Just ew.
  16. My fave thing here is that TransFans seem to have gotten over their inclination towards misspelling Hasbro's name. You know what I'm talking about... So what's yours?
  17. Exactly.... #US1# Meh, well... no, it probably won't be. Michael Bay has never really done a "good" movie. He's done some pretty lame, albeit slightly entertaining, action flicks - that's about the best you can say. Unless I hear some REALLY good reviews and word of mouth, this will be either a rental or a download. I'm not wasting twelve bucks on something that, right now, I think I'm going to be disappointed in. So you'd rather break the law (by downloading the movie off the net) than actually support the franchise? On topic, I unfortunately live with a bunch of Harry Potter nuts, so I might not be able to see the Transformers movie when it first comes out...bleh. @grumpy@
  18. My god those things rock. I see much spending of money in my future
  19. We haven't even seen it yet.. @hmmm@ Keep your fanboy-isms to yourself. Oh, I've seen enough of the movie figures, dude. Who are you calling a fanboy?? I and most of the people on this forum and the TF community think these movie protos SUCK. Obviously, you shouldn't JOIN a forum if you don't KNOW, about voicing and sharing your opinion. It's called sarcasm. Try it sometime. It's alright, just because Michael Bay kisses you on the forehead and tucks you into bed, doesn't mean you hafta love his FUGLY creations. Stop hating, yourself, FANBOY. @pow@ If you judge such things w/o even seeing them, that's fanboyism at work, and nice flaming as well btw. Destro's right, man. And it doesn't matter HOW many people think that the movie designs are "fugly"—it still does not make it a fact. I personally think the movie designs are badass. On topic, I'd love a Prime helmet. And Bumblebee? I. Want. Him. NOW!
  20. "##$%$#ed"? This Megatron (and it IS Megatron, get over it) does not look "##$%$#ed". He looks friggin' badass. I don't care what whiny fanboys think. You're all acting like Hasbro is trying to piss you off on purpose. They aren't; they're just trying something different. I personally think this movie is gonna be a big hit. And, ya know what? Megs DOES kind of look like an Evangelion, and I mean that in a good way. Keep up the good work, Bay and Spielberg! @smiletransform@ As for the rest of you fanboys: @hammerhead# P.S. I'd love to see this guy in Galvatron colors.
  21. Not to mention the fact that Takara decided to paint him BLUE. Apparently, they couldn't make up their minds on whether they wanted to make Starscream or Thundercracker. @smilepunch@
  22. Damn good thing I got him while he was still fresh, then. My biggest regret was not getting 20th Anniversary Optimus Pime while I had the chance and the money. Now I can't find him at a price I can afford
