  1. Had an idea to make a glider for Peely. I originally just wanted him to surf on a rocket powered banana, but couldn't find anything that looked right in my bits box. I did find a smashed F.A.N.G. though! The banana is just a piece of fake fruit from ebay. I cut out sections, dremel led off large chunks of the fang, took the seat out, and drilled a few holes to allow multiple back blings to be plugged in. I sprayed it with white plastic primer, painted it with a yellow mix, then washed it with contrast paint. I detailed it with a slight brown overspray. The final detail was the nana nana sticker from one of the vending machines. I drilled a last hole in the cockpit to plug the harvesting tool in so that it doubles as a throttle.
  2. Had this idea in my head for a while, but finding a spare Skull trooper in England these days was harder than anticipated. It's just Peely with his lower arms and legs swapped out with Skull trooper's, then sprayed black. I copied and hand painted the glyphs from Kevin the Cube, then painted them and his eyes with gloss sealer. Back Bling is Lil' Kev. Rocket launcher is from the Supply crate.
  3. Demmon w/ MS9 - original charactersI designed. I really like the style of the MTF legs, and Cyborg Star Wars characters. I thinned down the nub of the waist peg and drilled a hole in the SBD and sculpted them both in place. Head is a Durge cast, fitted the same way. The gun is from Morrof, with a gundam part glued to the end for better detail. The mouse droid has been filled with putty to add weight and help it roll better. Gun is from the bits box.
  4. I always loved the character, but his only released figure was absolute garbage. I was lucky enough to get one with an arm missing for $5. The listing didn't include the light sabre, but when it arrived, it was in the package, which was great. The parts popped off pretty easily. I cut down the Sith Trooper's neck and used the barbell. The head didn't need modification, so just a hole dremelled in the ST's neck got the head to fit perfectly. The loincloth was a bit more tricky. I hade to dremel out the inside of the waist section until a tiny lip remained, then used the disc attachment to grind a channel around the waist. I popped the upped torso off, heated the belt and prised it into place. Lastly, I swapped out the hands for some MTF versions. Very happy with the result. It's totally updated, without losing the vibe of the original.
  5. My latest custom. Faker is my favourite character, and this is the 15th Faker custom I have made. I added a metal rod into the sword to stop warping. The concept is by my good friend Brad Beck, with parts commissioned from Barbarossa customs. Painted with Citadel paints.
  6. Made from scratch. Took me three months, but it was fun to make. I split it into three sections - vintage style, Filmation style throne room, and Slime pit box art. Also made a few customs to tie in with it, with more to follow. 7. Termineyetor - I wanted to make a robot guy, but ended up with this. He's a mech suit to transport the eyeball, much like Optikk. Head and armour are from Optikk, torso and arms from Blast attak, Legs from Multi bot, claw from the weapons pak, scissors from Cy-Chop. Really pleased with the final result here, he's fully playable.
  8. Thanks for the front page! More pics on my FB page - IDH custom toys ;-)
  9. Emperor Jitsu This was one intesive build! I harvested parts from the staction and grafted them onto an MotUC buck. I retained all but the ankle articulation. The armour is free sculpted over some palace guard armor. Very happy with this one!
  10. Power of Grayskull He-Man. When all hope seems lost, even for He-Man, he calls upon the very spirit of his ancestors combining the power of every He-Man throughout the centuries! Made with a cast Hellboy fist and scratchbuilt shield from MasterEnglish customs, and cast boots, left hand, sword and armour from karakNul's customs.
  11. Emerald Tiger I made this guy as part of my Ninja wars MotUC saga. The head is from Count Marzo with the hair sculpted on, body is Daw-o-tor with parts from a PotC figure, legs from Zodac, boots from Snakeface, a cast Fisto hand, left hand from Bow, a test shot Ninjor sword, and a repainted Horde imp.
  12. I always loved the game Silent Hill, and thought this would be a great crossover custom. The head is scratchbuild from ABS plastic, painted and weathered. It's mounted on a regular MotUC head so pops on and off like regular heads. The Great knife was made in the same way as the head, with some extra parts sculpted on. The leg extensions have a metal bar drilled into the calves for stability and durability, then sculpted over. The overall height is 9" Red Pyramid
  13. I made the guy using two Zodac bodies drilled and bolted together with an inch long screw. The ab section of the top torso was sculpted, as was the face section. The armour is cut and glued to a leather section and is removable. The gun is cast so no paint chips. The head has matt and gloss clearcoat to emphasise the metal and glass parts. The figure is 100% play ready and factory durable.
  14. Galactic Faker I do love a good Faker! I've previously made a Faker for all seasons, this one being one of the last. It's fairly simple, a Galactic Skeletor buck, NA Heman armour and sword, Icarius's undies, and Spector's feet. I sprayed the sword with some Tamiya clear orange to maintain the translucent effect. Here's my other Fakers - Battle damaged Faker - (just a regular Faker bashed with a T800) King Faker - And a group pic -
  15. The great black wizard. I love this character, even though Mattel blatantly stole the design from Games Workshop :-) The head is sculpted by Kevin Kosse, the body is Faceless one, Carnivus armour, modified loincloth and a prototype Draego man sword, plus modified Marzo sword, with Batros boots.
  16. I made this for Easter, it's just a Plundor head with resculpted eyebrows and neck, and reshaped ears.
  17. Like most people, I wasn't happy with the Matty version so I made my own. It's a Dactus buck with his toenails shaved and sanded down, with Horde Primes skirt and Clawful hands. I added the dark Star to the staff to give him an omnipotent weapon. I'll use the Mattel UNO as an accessory for this guy.
  18. Eyedol, deep space Enforcer. I figured the Enforcers needed some non humanoid back up! Head and body supplied by Kevin Kosse. I retooled one of the tentacles so he could hold the rifle, then painted it. I modded the gun with Gundam parts.
  19. This is the third Spider based custom I've made. The first was an ML version I did way back when the base body was released (two days after, in fact) This is Webstor after he stole and ate the Andreenid's Ambrosia in the 200X toon. The whole figure is fully playable, retains all articulation and has a sculpted waist and back logo. I used matte and gloss varnish for different sections to make his eyes and logo pop.
  20. Roboto V2 - I had to make a proper version of Roboto that wouldn't crack and explode during play. It's mostly a repainted DC Mongul figure with MotUC Roboto's hands and head. I used some clear paints on him to make him look more metal. He stands a head higher than regular MotUC figures.
