Awesome! I miss the DD guys coming to the con and drawing pics. I so wanted a Torpedo last year only to find they send a tokken crew. I treasure the sketch of Snow Job Seely made me. I really dig your work. Very very very cool!!!!

did anyone notice they stopped using the foil gi joe logo and that the bubble backs are now yellow? i wonder why that is?I believe the lack of foil started with wave 8 because they are the first waves that no longer celebrate the 25th Anniversary.

cmderinchief, if no one has pointed this out yet, TF Flint is in Wave 8 (W4-08) and it should be TF Duke in Wave 10 (W6-08).
Right, we'll get that edited.
W7 is starting to trickle into my home area, but I've been out of the country for a week, so it really doesn't matter. I'll maybe go on a hunt this weekend.

Scalpers is the buzzword certainly over the last year. A SW collector told me that SW 'scalpers' and Hot Wheels 'scalpers' are starting to pick up our Joes. There is no doubt a degree of these types of people doing this. I think we're also seeing other Joe collectors picking up extras knowing full well that, initially, supply is short at the beginning of a wave. As all things, patience will rule the day. If you wait, in a couple of months we'll be flooded with this current wave as we are now with W3 and W4.

So I thinks that if e-bay didn't exist a scalper would not be born. Or maybe we will always have scalpers but they will have to scalp locally and then maybe open up a shop in the flea market somewhere in town.
I think they'll just do this....flea markets and comic/collectable/toy shows.
Is scalping really that bad in your area? Is stuff showing up on Ebay? This may not be the case in all areas, but I am finding out around Indy is that we just have a crap load of collectors. I'm plain just being beat - that's all. Word is from the SW geeks here that a lot of them are switching to Joes.....and we all know hardcore those folks can be. @lol@
