  1. Yesterday I went to TRU in Calexico Cali to get the MCC, I asked a worker there to get my the price, and he told that the price was 100 dollars and I said WTF ? r u sure?, but then the worker told me in a very bad mod, well if you know the price why do you ask?.... my respond was .. dude do you have a problem or what! so i went to the manager but another client was arguim with him to.

    Both, the worker and the manager made my have a very bad experience.

    does it ever happen to you?

    BTW, the have a lot of Python Patrol 6 packs.

    That sucks! At my TRU, there is this dude who works in the video games area that is just the opposite. He is too happy. Dude is like, "WELCOME TO TOYS R US! How my I serve you?" @loll@

  2. I posted a proposed set of Membership rules....however, it would seem that gscbr has started this thread in another direction.

    wait a moment. what thread have you been following? You say this thread was only about membership rules, but YOU'RE the one who changed the subject to the discussion at yojoe, which I merely addressed, and YOU'RE the one who then claimed that I was attacking the club (what does that have to do with membership rules), which I wasn't, and YOU'RE the one who was boasting Zod blasted me (once again, no mention of the rules in that particular post).

    YOU changed the subject, I merely have been commenting on the change of subject that YOU initiated. So you tell me, how did I start the thread in a new direction?

    In fact, everything I have said pertains to improving the club, which is what this thread is about. whether you disregard those suggestions or not is your business, but you can't ignore the fact that my critical comments were made in regards to improving the name. there is a difference between being critical and being insulting.

    @loll@

    Lighten up man @smilepunch@

  3. Once more.......

    I posted a proposed set of Membership rules....however, it would seem that gscbr has started this thread in another direction. For anyone who has interest in viewing them and supplying input, go back to page 7 of this thread and read them. Get back to me by Monday with any revisions or suggestions you may have.

  4. OK, I have taken the DOB membership requirements and used them as a base. I anticipated some questions, so I expanded some areas in an attempt to make it clear. As time goes on and the club grows, this list will be refined. Believe it or not, this took only 20 minutes to do. My comments as to why I did what I did are in red.

    Membership Requirements and Rules:

    CFB Membership Guidelines:

    I. Charter Membership:

    A Charter Member is defined as: An “American Hero, “General, or “Aide attendee of the 2004 Convention in Walt Disney World and attended the Convention Dinner.

    So basically, all those who attended this year and wish to be, are Charter Members. Sorry, but that is where the idea was hatched.

    Any new prospective member shall be known herein as a 'CFB Greenshirt'

    II. New Membership:

    There shall be four levels of new membership. They are Standard, Default, Exception and Honorary. Each level will have its own section below.

    1. Standard Membership:

    Any person desiring Standard CFB membership must meet the following criteria:

    A. Be an active member of the International GI Joe Collectors Club and;

    B. Display the desire to have fun with the hobby and have fun with the group and;

    C. Agree with our mission statement and;

    D. Have the sponsorship of one or more current CFB members in good standing and;

    a. Sponsorship may be obtained by personal contact, e-mailing, posting support of, contribution to the club, website or participation in annual CFB events.

    b. After gaining a sponsor the applicant will be designated as a 'CFB Greenshirt' on the CFB Website. The 'CFB Greenshirt' will gain access to the CFB message board and be acknowledged on the CFB web site. They also will be included in the CFB Salute and any other gestures, songs, limericks, or rhymes related to CFB and especially our mascot and spokes-figure, Crystal Ball.

    2. Default Membership:

    A Default Member is defined as: A prospective member is one who does not require an existing member’s sponsorship to join. They can become a member if they meet the criteria set forth in section 2-1 and one or more of the following criteria:

    A. Attended or purchased any International GI Joe Collectors Club Convention package (i.e. 3-3/4, 12 or Aide) of any prior convention. Included in this group are 2004 "Homefront Hero" participants.

    a. Proof must be supplied. Examples of proof can be a:

    i. Picture of Convention Name badge or;

    ii. Written Testament from fellow attendee.

    OK, this is here for those who attended in previous years but for whatever reason, could not attend in '04. Also included are paying members of the GIJCC who did not attend as well. This also keeps the membership open to those who bought packages this year, but did not make the trip to Orlando. Am I missing anyone??

    3. Exception Membership:

    An Exception Member shall be defined as a member who does not meet any of the above criteria, yet wishes to be admitted to the club.

    A. Exception Membership can only be obtained if prospective member seeks and receives sponsorship from one or more Charter Members.

    This is here for those who want to join, but couldn't make the con or who are not GIJCC members. As Flint and Zod said before, we do not want to exclude anyone.

    4. Honorary Membership:

    An Honorary Member shall be defined as membership awarded by a CFB active member nomination and CFB majority vote to any non-member who has made a significant positive influence on the hobby and club.

    This is so if someone wanted to award an honorary membership to a famous "Joe-leberty".....or someone who helps the club in some way. I don't know if they'll care, but it is a nice enough gesture.

    III. Completion of Membership Entrance Requirements:

    1. Upon completion and meeting of criteria, The 'CFB Greenshirt' will be considered a full CFB Member with all additional rights, privileges and duties unto the club upon attending the annual CFB gathering at the International GI Joe Collectors Club Convention and;

    2. Full CFB Members will then be included in the CFB roster on the CFB web site and thereby be designated as a good member in standing of the Crappy Figure Brigade.

    IV. Revocation of Membership

    CFB membership may be revoked due to displays of excessive seriousness. See our Mission Statement

    Mission Statement:

    THE MISSION OF THE CRAPPY FIGURE BRIGADE IS:

    - TO CELEBRATE THE HASBRO 3-3/4 LINE OF FIGURES WHOSE PERSONNA HAS EXCEEDED THE RELM OF BELIEVEABILITY, WHOSE ACCESSORIES ARE ABSURD, WHOSE SCULPT IS REPULSIVE, WHOSE PAINTJOB A BLIND MAN COULD SEE, WHOSE PLASTIC IS FRAIL AND BRITTLE;

    - TO SUPPORT THE FUTURE RELEASE OF FIGURES THAT EXCEEDS THE ABOVE SUB-STANDARDS;

    - TO ABOVE ALL ELSE, HAVE FUN!

    That is about it. So I turn it over to the other members. Additions? Suggestions? Deletions? Whatever........is Monday a long enough deadline to get all of these ideas in?

    Now, who wants to handle the poll on the logo?

  5. It would seem the best course of action is to notify the GIJCC and see if you can get an exchange or something. I was missing a whole tree for my Stun and they swapped me out on the spot.....but that was at the con. Clearly there is a problem with the quality and durability of the plastic and with missing parts.

    Best o' luck!

  6. CFB was supposed to be fun that is part of the mission :)

    The mission statement as amended:

    THE MISSION OF THE CRAPPY FIGURE BRIGADE IS:

    - TO CELEBRATE THE HASBRO 3-3/4 LINE OF FIGURES WHOSE PERSONNA HAS EXCEEDED THE RELM OF BELIEVEABILITY, WHOSE ACCESSORIES ARE ABSURD, WHOSE SCULPT IS REPULSIVE, WHOSE PAINTJOB A BLIND MAN COULD SEE, WHOSE PLASTIC IS FRAIL AND BRITTLE;

    - TO SUPPORT THE FUTURE RELEASE OF FIGURES THAT EXCEEDS THE ABOVE SUB-STANDARDS;

    - TO ABOVE ALL ELSE, HAVE FUN!

  7. NICE!!!!!

    I hate the hornet and thats what i havent bought it and plan not too, but i go the neutralizer :)

    I try and get one of each and when I saw the yellow Neo Viper I had to have one!!!! and had fun setting this one up as shown in my pics....LOL

    Yeah, the Yellow Neo-Viper in the pepper patch was a funny pic!

  8. Agreed......but.....

    All those changes.....the sound attack, the action attack, etc......is all for the good of the line. Remember, that stuff is for the kids. Tazzzman can back me up on this.....we let Hasbro know we don't like this stuff in Orlando. However, the fact of the matter is we need those kids to buy GI Joe for the line to grow. The collectors simply cannot support the line as a whole....we need those kids. I'll put up with those crazy innovations if it helps the line.....and also if they release a version without the action attack as well! :D

  9. yes i got them both just recently also.............the neturalizer is cool........

    reminds me of ...the armadillo.but much cooler.......

    I dunno.....it is hard to compare that to a classic design.

    The more I look at this Alpha Vehicle, the more I don't prefer it.....notice I did not say I didn't like it. I think things are heading in the right direction.

  10. I will be happy to send you the figures if you decide to send the payment.  Once payment is recieved, I will be happy to reverse my feedback as long as you are willing to do the same. The past feed back issue on part should have been asked about prior to bidding if it was a concern of yours.  You bid and won the items.  I sent you an invoice, you were legally obligated to pay and did not.  Once again the feedback issue should have been asked about BEFORE you decided to bid.  I have not had access to my computer fore a while and could not get my mail other wise I would have responded.  You can not bid and win an auction and then decide to be leary about it.  I combunicated by sending an invoice and held up my end of the auction process.  The ball is now in your court.

    What a t00l!

  11. The only Joe's i have been seeing at my area target are V vs. V wave 1 and the 3 - Pack with the spy troops vhs.

    Ditto. I live in Indiana by the way.

    Hey Viper....where is LaFontaine, Indiana? I live near Indy.
