  1. No need to panic on SKO. It is still progressing.
  2. TM, those are test shot markings. This is common on samples that make their way out of the factory. Push comes to shove, I can always replace the head, but the test shot markings are part of what makes it special. You are right though, it does make the figure ugly.
  3. Bits and pieces of the figure did eventually come out. The Resolute version of Scarlett shares the same torso as the CS Scarlett. As near as I can tell, maybe 12 - 18 were produced and made it out of China. Mine is below. If anyone has one here, lmk so I can add to the count.
  4. Been a long time since I posted here... Yeah, this is a big gaff by IDW. Very disappointing on all levels.
  5. Ahem! @hmmm@ Anyway...It totally slipped my mind, but we're going back to where it all started. It was at the '04 con that I joined the TNI site and the birth of my online community involvement. It is where the TNI Joe gang really gelled. It is the site where the CFB was born. Man, those were the days. I miss those guys from the early days. Maybe we should do up a special shirt or something.
  6. I bet we get a black repaint someday in the future.
  7. Love these. I'll pick up one of each for sure.
  8. I was talking with Card today and he said I need to post more over here......so..... I'll be there.
  9. Who are you and why are you posting here?? @hmmm@ @loll@
  10. No doubt, the Koga did a great job and as a result, I plan to dropping in from time to time to say hi. Way to go JBL team!! Pru, you were an effective Team Captain and the rest of the team did a great job performing their duties and representing themselves with pride and class. As a long time TNI member and a representative of JBL, way to hold the banner high! Now go to BBTS and start spendin'!!
  11. Not that I recall. NYCC is usually held in March, Toy Fair is held in February, usually around Valentines day. Keep in mind that Toyfair is steadily losing relevance for the larger toy makers like Hasbro--they show less product during that even now, than they have in years before--mostly because they do not actually show at the location of the event itself. They have their own private showroom location off-site and MAY or MAY NOT show this year ( I'd lean towards "may") at Toyfair itself. This is a growing trend for trade shows. I used to work for an audio/video company. For CEDIA, all the divisions would share a booth, but off site, they had a much larger (and I assume cheaper) show area at a nearby hotel conference room.
  12. COBRA's HQ in a hidden volcano layer! @hmmm@
  13. We have seen leaked pics of the BD BAT circulated. That is part of W14.
  14. Dave, Pru.....great job guys! I loved the back story on the Koga submission.
  15. Old pic....it has been out over a month. It is part of W14, but I have no idea when we will see it. Toy Fair is around the corner.
  16. I cannot wait to go to the BFTB site when and if it is officially announced. I expect you guys to go crazy-go-nutz! Well earned for your persistent voicing of support for more Int'l flavor to be reintroduced!
  17. Yeah, I can confirm $9.99 near Dayton and Cincy.
  18. Meh....we're going to be choking on these.
  19. If it hasn't been mentioned already, that BAT should be part of the Reso 5 pack coming out with the new Joe and Cobra 5 packs. A BAT pack is going to have to be a store exclusive.
  20. Wow....even I have to dust off the ol' login to echo the overwhelming agreement with this statement. ##1#
  21. I wonder who will get the variant green trim one.
  22. Sorry to dust off an old post. Just wanted to add my 2 cents worth while I stopped over here real quick I thought this was funny too....until I found out that Card signed up the CFB team, so that one team have ME on it! @lol@ Personally, I don't care. LOL! Agreed, the Customs button mashing took the fun out of it, thus turned people off and in turn no one wants to participate this year. Skarapz tried to put one together last year and no one wanted to participate. Crossing Barbie with GI Joe got us Cover Girl... Quoted for Agreement
