  1. I've never had much of a problem with the trooper's helmet.
  2. single packs: Falcon Airtight Outback Night Viper Cobra Officer Munitia(new female) coming some time in april What source supports this claim that those single packs will be out this month? It makes sense since Marvel comic packs #44 and #101 are scheduled to be out in April but there's no rule that single packs and 3 packs always arrive simultaneously. As far as I can tell, no online store has preorders for the above single packs at this point. OmegaHarbinger Sorry, my bad. I thought I'd seen the single packs on listed on some sites but it appears to be only the comic packs. Let's hope it's not too long.
  3. single packs: Falcon Airtight Outback Night Viper Cobra Officer Munitia(new female) coming some time in april Thanks Duckface. Do you know if there are pictures somewhere? toy fair pics

  5. This figure is okay. Not great but not bad either. At least I'll be able to make the Coil which is hard to do without any troopers. I'm glad MB and his troopers were so cool. A decent Overlord will make this set worth it. Question: Does anyone know if Hasbro has all of Overlord's parts or will this figure end up being a frankenstein?
  6. Thank you Hasbro for darkening JL's hair! I was getting worried. LJ looks pretty nice now, she'll make a good replacement for the crappy ST version. I like the gas mask troopers too. The head sculpts look pretty cool imo. The October Guard pack is great. I can't wait to get these. I think this is one of the better comic packs to come out of dtc. Being an S6 hater I could care less about the rest.
  7. Dr. Mindbender Why's this guy still here?
  8. Funny. When I read the title of this thread Ghostbusters 2 was the first thing to pop into my mind. I'd have to go with Batman and Robin though. There isn't a nice thing I can say about that movie.
  9. I'll go with ... Bazooka only because it's the inferior vehicle driver version.
  10. Wild Weasel He's definitly the most deserving at this point.
  11. Alright, so after the kick butt toy fair pics I decided to go out and get showdown wave 2. I didn't think I'd continue with these after getting the lanky wave 1 punisher and pancake-face Ghost Rider, but wave 2 really looked nice in the package. Anyway, I took black Spidey out of his pack and noticed that most of his joints were loose. His right arm joint just fell out on to the floor. After a few minute I found it and popped it back in. It hasn't fallen out since then but I'm still dissappointed with him. Then I get to Human Torch. I'm really pleased with this guy at first until I notice that the top half of his right leg was put on backwards. I twisted it around a little so it looks kinda okay now but it still is wierd looking. At this point it seems like there've been a few problems but for the most part they're still nice figures so I'm pleased. Then I pick up Iron Man to put him in a cool action pose (Iron Man just happens to be my favorite). As I twist one of his legs around, it breaks off joints and all. I wasn't even that rough with it. I just turned it to the side and "snap!". Now I'm mad. Doesn't it seem that a figure that costs eight @#$@ dollars would be a little less cheaply made? Has anyone else had problems with these figures?
  12. I don't mind them being 4 inch, but I agree with pretty much everything you said. I'd love for these to be constructed more like joes. And no crappy game pieces of course. I'd also love a line of 6 inch joes similar to Marvel ledgends if they were high quality.
  13. Leatherneck Maybe we can get rid of him this time.
  14. Snake Eyes (Black Repaint came w/ cycle)
  15. This is true. Anything pre 90's were the dark ages as far as coloring is concered. not the best example to base a figure on. All I know is when I get my LJ she's going to end up looking like this...
  16. To be honest, the accuracy of the colors is my biggest gripe with the comic packs. A lot of times the colors end up really garish when they don't need to be. Roadblock and Scrap Iron come to mind. Both are figures that were ruined by "comic accurate" colors. There are a lot of other examples I could name. In LJ's case, sure her hair is red in this comic but I can't understand why they can't compromise a little bit and give us a rendition that's a little closer to her traditional look. Just change the hair color and make everyone happy. Not too much to ask. This could be said about a lot of the comic pack figures. That isn't to say that I don't like the comic packs. Quite the contrary. I just think there's some room for improvment in this case.
