  1. Any Iron Man excluding a reissue of his modern armor.

    ...Disco-Ball Stealth Armor?

    Disco-Ball Stealth Armor?

    Disco-Ball Stealth Armor!!!

Hey...if you're from the 70's. like me, and you read comics during the "Disco Age", like me...then you'll understand how absolutely cool this would actually be!

    Disco-Ball Stealth Armor!

Please tell me you're kidding. I'd hate to think this actually exists.

Oh well, I'll predict Disco Armor within three waves...

  2. If there is a FA DD, I hope he isn't all campy like those mediocre looking FA Cap and Bucky figures.

I like this list. Could do without a new Punisher this soon after the Face Off version but if he's cool looking I'll get over it. Anyway, can't wait to see pics.

  3. This line doesn't sound that great unless you're into movie figures. I might pick up MJ but thats it. Also, the baf is Sandman!? What a rip. So they expect us to buy a small Sandman to build a big one. It's bad enough they want us to buy the re-repainted Green Goblin and Doc Ock figures. Geez. We've hit a new low here.

  4. Worst: all of them.

Sorry, but I just don't like any of the newer characters at all. There were some that had potential, but were ruined by bad figure design.

lol I knew someone was going to say that @loll@ . That's okay though. As much of a new sculpt advocate I used to be I can now admit some of those things were just terrible.

  5. So we all talk about how silly Crystal Ball or Raptor were and gush about the glory days from 84-87, but how about the originals since the demise of ARAH? Which characters were worth making and which ones shouldn't have seen the light of day?

Best- Any of the Stalls. All around cool figures who would have easily fit into the original line.

Worst-Coil Crusher with Chameleon running a close second. While I could site a lot of the venomized characters, CC stands out just for his sheer goofiness. As far as Chameleon goes, she always seemed to me like a cheap Baroness knock-off with a poorly conceived backstory. I highly doubt it would have taken Cobra Commander or Destro very long to figure out she was an imposter. I like to think of her rotting in a cobra dungeon somewhere. (Chameleon's filecard)

  6. Spideys i want (which are both relevant and would help sell the line imo):

    SA Ben Reilly spidey

    cosmic Spidey

    SA armored spidey

    insulated anti-Electro spidey

makeshift costume (in his civilian clothes but with his black mask on)

    6-armed spidey

quick change: Flash Thomspn as Spidey

    quick change: adult Peter Parker

    evil Spideys i want:

    Man-spider SA

    villains i want:

    Mac Gargan Venom

    Shocker w/ elbows

    business suit Doc Ock

modern armored Green Goblin (not in the Ramos style though)

    classic Beetle

    demon Mysterio

Black Cat the way she looked in "Venom vs. Carnage" (the story that introduced Toxin)... shes never been hotter than she was in that story. spidermancarnagevenomblackcatbn1.jpg

I don't think they'd make a figure that revealing to the kiddies... but they made Emma... so I guess it's possible...

Emma's figure isn't quite THAT revealing. Call me a prude but I never really liked that suit. Way too cheesecake for my tastes.

  7. this is the closest we have had to a side by side and the new se does indeed appear to be 4 " :( it's going to suck having to cut every single figure and reglue at the boot!

thanks for sharing your find vh

I can't see it myself. Plus if you look at the small print in the bottom left hand corner it says something to the effect of "your favorite 3 3/4 figures are back and better than ever". Not saying they won't be 4 inches but at this point I don't believe it.

Edit- It says "The 3 3/4 action figures you grew up with are back and better than ever." Close enough.
