ML8 Storm was a really good sculpt, but is flawed by her SUPER small head and torso....I really don't know how or why Toybiz made her like that. I always read that complaint about her but really don't see it. Her head might be a little small but she's not terribly flawed. I don't mean to take away from your opinion but I think that sculpt is amazing. Storm's the figure that got me into ML.

Well technically scales have never been quite right in this line (remember that huge Bishop from ML 9 or 10) but I'll agree with everything else. I really don't want to see anything redone until Hasbro gets it's act together. There's no point in getting a new versions of figures if they're going to be terrible.

This is true. I went to my local Toys R Us today which I haven't been to in a while. They've totally gotten rid of their ML space except for the Diamond Emmas and Wolverines they just can't sell. I guess Black Queen is next.

MJ is by far the ugliest of the two and is my vote for the ugliest female ever. I'm not sure if she's got an abscess tooth or a strange alergic reaction but that face sculpt is horrible.
-
Those have to be three of the ugliest ML females of all time.
-
I agree. This has been a problem with a lot of their figures.
-
Not sad, i think several people feel that way. I know i am one of them. I felt that way until I saw the SDCC pics. Ugliest ML style female ever. She makes Emma Frost look like a super model.

..And less paint @loll@ . I wouldn't mind seeing this line-up in an X-men themed wave. Also, it's nice to see that they're at least thinking about releasing Northstar and Aurora.
-
For me it's overall presentation (paint, sculpt, articulation) and then character. If a character I like gets an ugly figure then I won't buy it in most cases. On the otherhand, I've gotten ML's that I had no interest in as a character but still looked fantastic.

TB figures that Hasbro NEED to make available again
Duck Face replied to pastwatch2001's topic in Marvel
Might as well add Kang for the same reason. -
Well if SE and Destro are indeed just repacks, this wave is going to be pretty lackluster. SJ and flash are nice but not that exciting. This leaves CG as the only "must get" figure for me .

oops, wrong thread. mods, please delete.

Wow, looks like I'm gonna have to buy a gawdy, banana yellow Scarlett to get Hawk. I love the 25th anniversary line but these are pretty weak. Duke and CC make me think it's 1993 again.

The MG variant is nice. I'll get this one instead of the regular one.

Sneak Peek Carcass Golobulus Robo Joe Ninja Force Scarlett Big Brawler Chameleon Dino-Hunter Ambush Toxo-Zombie More Snake-Eyes figures @smilepunch@

They all look great.

He looks like he's wearing a table cloth.

@loll@ You beat me to it, although I think the regular variant fixes the problem enough. Like the transparent face on Diamond Emma, this Marvel Girl's ugly features are hardly recogonizable.

Would you buy Marvel figures made in the GI Joe sigma Six style?
Duck Face replied to dollman ron's topic in Marvel
You hit the nail on the head. -
Well, I will say cyclops is looking sharp. He'll be replacing my TB one.

Black Knight is okay. Collosus has a nice sculpt but is also a movie figure. Cap and Bucky are SO cartoony they look kind of cheesey. I get that they're supposed to look like the comics but this is just overkill. And then we come to Rachel. Poor Rachel. Why do they always have to ruin the X-figures? Like Emma, Banshee, and Quicksilver, I wanted her the most. Terrible face sculpt. Ugly Hasbro knees. All together way too cartoony. I suppose I should be happy they didn't mold her in that morbid flesh-colored plastic they used on the others, but then again they didn't attempt to give her any skin-tones either. And yes, her hair IS too red.

Wow, looks like we've finally found something most of us can agree on. -
While I respect your opinion I found Quicksilver to be the most disappointing figure of the wave mainly due the almost complete lack of paint app's. The uniform is really bland and the ugly flesh-toned plastic makes him look like a corpse imo.

I'll be getting a few figures from the FF and Holocaust waves and none from the SM3 wave.
