Well he'll definatly get something since it is his movie. Its not like they are going to say, screw it, we aren't going to do it because X-Men deserve to go first. But the good thing is X-Men are in Wolverine's degress of separation so you would get X-Men figures regardless. Hopefully they aren't the same rehashed X-Men we always get (Cyclops, Colossus, Beast)

Not very imaginative. Why do all the characters in these movies end up wearing black leather body suits? Not that I'd want them to look just like the figures because most of those designs would look REALLY goofy in live action, but a little more creativity would be nice. Hopefully the whole team doesn't look like this.

That bugs me too. I love the blue hiss but I really didn't need another cobra soldier. Remember though that the red hiss driver comes in the next wave of single cards.

I read the thread topic and immediately knew which ad it was about. It really is annoying.

It's not the thong, its not the sex, it is just a an awesome interpretation of the figure. The head sculpt is amazing and it is just a very professional looking figure. SWARM is also sick, but it is a tropp builder. I prefer customs of individual figures. Also, the SE Battle Damaged version is also sick and my favorite version of the figure. Uhhh... it's not the sex? Do you think an equally nice baroness represented the way military women actually look (not hot) would be doing nearly as well? Of course not. If you need proof just look at all the complaining you see on these boards whenever ANY female figure is released, gijoe or otherwise. A lot of them are actually pretty good but none of them are EVER attractive enough for the horny fanboys here. Hey, I'll admit that this is an awesome custom and it's obvious that much hard work was put into it, but let's get serious. The skin has A LOT to do with it's popularity.

Worst wave yet. Major Blood is a huge disappointment. It seems like he's been getting the shaft ever since the end of rah. Hasbro please listen closely. Blood is an icon and deserves much better. Also, what did they do to the Baroness's card art?! It's just down-right fugly! I can't believe they took one of the nicest cards from rah and transformed it into one of the worst. I mean I know it's based on a really ugly figure but this is just jaw dropping. Hpefully the eventual crimson Baroness is not hard to find. Oh, one more thought. If they're going to give us single cards “based on the comic series” then just what are comic packs for?

Uhhh.. out of this list? Well I guess blowtorch. I never had Ripcord, and Deepsix was basically just a block of plastic (version 2 is much better). There are alot of characters I'd like to see before these guys though.

Good to know. Maybe we'll get more international figures down the road.

Great list if true. Redeems hasbro for that mediocre wave 8. I'm thinking ss black is that ninja force ss with the black camo. Also, it's nice to see bbq on the list. I didn't think we'd get him.

Giantman wave You might as well take tru off the list. Their exclusives are generally pretty crappy.

I'll agree that rogue and MG should be on the list with MG winning, of course.

So where are you getting this idea that they're actually orange rust? I'll give you that they aren't RAH crimson but they're definately not orange either.

While it's true the Con set warmed shelves, I blame that mostly on the awful Dreadhead figures which comprised half the damned set! 6 exact figures that were supposed to be 3 sets of identical twins, all cousins with one another, who all hate Beachhead for some personal affront? First off, shouldnt it have been Cross Country, the self-identified red-neck, who managed to get on the bad side of six country bumpkin Patty Dukes? Secondly, did anyone give figs (flying or not) about the Dreadheads to begin with? Even the most popular 'nok, Zartan, was a seperate exclusive, making the box-set itself a big fat dud. I do think it's interesting that Buzzer isn't selling briskly, but I think that might have been a consequence of the other two Noks being held off. As it is, I went to my local TRU today, and where a dozen buzzers and Serpentors stood two weeks ago, only Wave 7 and Wave 3 2-packs were. Lots of old Destro/Breaker packs, however. Could be the Dreadnoks 2-pack has spurred on the sale of those excess Buzzers when a customer sees he can get all three at once! You're exactly right about that con set. It didn't help that most the figures had terrible camo and paint jobs. There were also two particularly bad original drednoks, one of which that had about 95% of Gnawgahyde's original parts but curiously wasn't Gnawgahyde. The figure had a different head but was close enough to the original. (Oddly enough, Gnawgahyde's head was used the following year.) Back on topic, I'll be happy if they just don't slip random SE and Firefly figures into troop builder sets.

The paint is bad but I'm sure they won't look like that if/when they make it to store shelves. Those hip joints are odd though. Not a total deal breaker for me but still ...

80 bucks a piece? Ouch. It's hard enough keeping up with everything getting released each month.

Personally, I like the Scorpion, Sandman, and Hobgoblin we already have.
