Only if someone PAYS me to see it...and buys me some popcorn.

I held out on it for a few reasons: The figure is awful, I am not supporting the movie AT ALL, and the figure was awful. Sigh.

I wonder how much more it would cost if he came with a pose-able Timber. That would be TOO awesome.

It's funny how people try and defend this movie by saying everyone thought Transformers was gonna suck and it didn't.
I think it's a pretty accurate comparison...people have been bemoaning the translations of costumes the exact same way they did for say, X-Men, or the chracter designs of the TF movie characters. Both of those movies turned out just fine. I'm sure this is a trend that will continue for this movie. For simple stills, I think the characters look pretty cool...a touch of realism and a touch of stylization.
As I said about the TF movie, as long as the heart of the characters are intact, the movie will be fine.
actually.. no. those movies were crap.
and they certainly aren't better than anything that tried to stay true to the source material... maybe.. Spiderman, Batman, Superman??? all kick X-men's ass big time. and TF too.
this movie is not a GiJoe movie. it has GiJoe in the title.. and thats it.
You are RIGHT. #US1#

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....tears...hahahahahaha! Hoo-boy. This movie looks like cosplay convention folk got a decent budget and a script from someone who works for...ah...all I got to say is "meh."

There is also an episode of "Webster" where he has a Cobra Rattler sitting on his dresser.
-
Valkyrie is pretty cool. The rest...we shall see when they are on the pegs.
-
That is a nice collection...my all time favorite MARVEL character.

I got my version 2 Snake Eyes today by accident. I walked into Sears Essentials looking for ML She-Hulk, and came across SE instead. He was the only one left btw. Anyhoo, the only thing that I am dissapointed about is that there is no place for his long sword to be stored. That and the sword is a bit plain, and not as cool as the original. But that's my two cents. Overall score: A solid 8 out of 10.

Ahhh...no wonder they didn't look right to me...it's their scale in relation to the original Legends line. Ho-hum.

Back in my Star Wars collecting days, I used to love love LOVE niubniubsuniverse.com He builds AWESOME Star Wars 3-3/4" scale (or near enough) Dioramas and shows very detailed how-to's AND provides printable photoshop decals so that you can make them just like he did. Also, when ToyBiz' Lord of the Rings were out there were a bunch of CRAZY fans who made some awesome Dioramas, you can see a bunch at thegd.com Now, maybe Dioramas are different than Playsets? But, it would be great to get either for our little Marvel guys!
Cool link man! Thanks! This will be one of my summer projects!

Not bad...can't wait to really see these in person!

you know what MEETING is pushed back time wise.
UFC 71 is on the 16th but it starts at NOON, so Im going to the bar to watch it.
So the meeting is now at 3-4 whatever time the UFC PPV is over.
Sounds good.

I agree. This one should be the exclusive!

I am seeing them pop up very randomly here in San Diego. So far only Quiksilver, Juggernaut, and Jean Grey. I guess it's all about being patient. HML 1 are warming the pegs at Toys R Us. They aren't budging one bit.
-
Hmmm! I hope to find an extra one of these and give it a shot! Nice work!
-
I really don't care actually. As long as the sculpt is good, it's ALL good.
-
They were on sale at TARGET??? I went a couple of days ago, and they were still 20 bucks. I need to check again...I want Doc Doom.
-
Cool! Thanks for the pic. It's fine, as long as there is documentation of the final product!

This society is simply out of control. Too much power in the wrong hands. Like you said, gas is too high, we have edged nearer to World War III, and the media here is worried about a statue?! W-T-F.

Does "working a second summer job part time for the San Diego Comic Con ONLY," count???
-
I'll try to pick one up!
-
Damn! I never had a chance to check out CVS or Walgreens in my area. Good luck!

Knowing our luck it will be 24.99. Dammit. It's pretty cool though!
