  1. Other than the combo red/green Hulk have any other exclusives been announced for NYCC 2011?
  2. Love me some DC toys

  3. I have gone to the websites for both San Diego and WWChicago, but I KNOW there will be other creators that aren't listed on the websites. The websites list the BIG stars and the Artist Alley guys, but usually DC (and Marvel) have creators that do signings at their booths. That's the list I'm looking for. I am sure as we get closer to the cons, there will be lists made available, but I won't be near my collection immediately before. Has anyone seen a list anywhere of who will be appearing. If anyone sees anything, could you let me know? Post it here??? Thanks!
  4. I'm on my way to WWChicago. I'm not expecting much, toy wise, but I hope it'll be fun! The only toy(s) that I'll be picking up for sure are the Tonner exclusives Harleen Quinzel and MAYBE the new Tonner doll that will be premiered there. They are keeping her a secret, but they've dropped hints. The hints seem to indicate that it will be Lara Croft (?), so maybe I'll pick her up.
  5. Thanks for the info, jjlecaros. Is it easy to park in the parking garage? Any idea how much it costs? In Chicago it's $11 for the day to park. What time do you arrive at the con?
  6. This will be my first time at SDCC. I have a question for those of you who have been there before. Is there a place to check bags at the convention center? My concern is how I'm going to carry my "loot" around with me for the entire day. Plus, I'll be bringing a bag full of books to have signed. At NYCC, there is a bag check. This weekend in Philly I only brought a backpack, and luckily some friends of mine who had a booth were willing to hold some stuff for me at their booth. When I go to Chicago, my friend always drives and we are able to park at the convention center so we can make a trip to the car if we have too much stuff. I don't know about the parking at SDCC, but I hear it's not necessarily easy. Any advice/knowledge is appreciated.
  7. I just bought my ticket. Can't wait! I was so bummed about the fact that the Mattel exclusives wouldn't be available at WWC this year, but I just decided it would be worth it to attend San Diego! It's my first time there and I'll be attending by myself. I had a friend who backed out on me last week. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to afford the plane ticket, the hotel room and the rental car, BUT fate intervened! My dad has a friend out there who offered me a place to stay and I found out I could use my travel miles through my airline (on the days I wanted no less!) and so my round trip ticket from New Jersey to San Diego was only $69!
  8. Hasbro is really screwing the pooch with Comic Cons. They weren't at WWChicago last year either. I think they only do San Diego and then sell stuff on their website store. Mattel always has a nice showing at the cons. I personally am looking forward to the Mattel panel tomorrow AM.
