  1. The show was pretty average compered to TMNT - especially the villains were lackluster. Greasepit makes Bebop and Rocksteady look like geniuses. The 2006 continuation was an improvement in that regard. But at any rate, glad that Carbine finally got a toy - back in the 90ies she had no chance, being a female character in an action cartoon.
  2. Makes no bloody point that they actually finally make new molds and new characters who are not Batman, and then make them exclusive... Even Hasbro learned that lesson when they made Cosmos or tape mode Soundwave a Walmart exclusive and are now releasing them in the mainline. I never heard of Effigy, I am guessing he is a Kyle Ryner villain? Those weren't particularly memorable. Wish they made the original Shining Knight. Never cared for the female one who had the weird backstory where some creepy faeries destroyed Camelot instead of Mordred and Morgan LeFay as per Etrigan/Jason's backstory. Question is nice, but as people said, he should come with a swappable maskless face. And maybe some weapon. Also, his hat just feels too small for his head.
  3. Posed figures? Last I checked, these are called statues... If they made figures from The Adventures of Puss in Boots (a spinoff show much better than its origin), maybe I'd be interested, but I hated Shrek.
  4. Looking forward to this. Gotham was a whole show where Batman only appears in the very last episode. And it worked. These characters are interesting enough to hold the interest of the watcher on their own. I am especially trusting Farrel after having watched Sugar this year.
  5. Well this is annoying. Unlike most DC based live action shows, this was pretty good. Is Sandman S2 even happening, then?
  6. I think most of them can stand on their own, except poor Zatanna who has no heels. The rest can be made to stand up, even if it is tough to keep them balanced.
  7. I gotta question why some of you guys are so dismissive of the "Ohh I gotta buy these figures for the build-a-figure" when Hasbro has been doing that with Marvel Legends for a decade now. Also, 25$ is amazing value for most of these figures, even with truncated accessories, when you consider that it is downright impossible to get the late wave DC Collectibles versions for a good price anymore. I know, I have tried for years. I was sadly, late to collecting them, as at the time I made a pact with myself to sell all my old Kenner DCAU toys before I started collecting another toyline next to Transformers and D&D minis... That sadly resulted in me only managing to get the last wave from BBTS and a few exclusives like the Batman Beyond set and the Batmobile with Batsignal. From this lineup alone - TAS Two-Face is probably the most expensive figure from the DC Collectibles line alongside TAS Scarecrow. I have never seen one go under 200$, especially when MOSC, but even loose ones go for 180-200$. TAS Batgirl is also super rare, while you can grab TNBA Batgirl for around 40-50$, TAS Batgirl goes for 120$ usually. Christmas Joker isn't as rare as the others, but he too is an 50-60$ value figure. Overall, even if you have the original figures, you can just sell them and keep the build-a-figure parts. I have so far, sold all my surplus ones but Jim Gordon, each for 26$. (I only needed Scarecrow from wave 1 and Blind as a Bat Batman and trenchcoat Phantasm movie Joker from wave 2. )
