can't say i'm a big nascar fan, but guess i should support the army/joe car. it's good to see joe getting some mainstream type press for a sport that's really on the rise.

i am not going to pick sides on this one. i'm going to buy whatever i'm looking for, wherever i might find it. the only way i'll go for the cheaper wal-mart is if it has the exact same product that tru does. even then, tru has had several specials on their joe line, and they have a much better selection. anyway, wherever i find my joes, i'll lay down my money.

this will be my own custom Sand Scorpion. i'd pick him over dusty any day. you'll see soon. i am borrowing a camera tonight, and should be clicking away tomorrow. so, in the next few days there should be something to show you.

Not sure if he can shoot terrorists. seems those Cobra guys (not to mention the Joes) never could hit anything in the old cartoons. But if he can't get the job done, my custom Alley Viper Commandoes are readying themselves for battle.

As some of you may know, I am currently serving my country in Baghdad right now. What you may not know, is that one of my custom Sand Scorpion figures was able to sneak aboard the plane with me. Although he serves the ranks of Cobra, it seems he has a dislike for the oppression of the Iraqi people as well. I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in seeing some pics of my Sand Scorpion serving over here in Iraq? If you would, I will do my best to acquire a digital camera (seems everyone around here has one), and I will get to work. Well, back to work for me. #US1#

yeah, good point. i guess they haven't really messed up the classic stuff yet. just seeing the new bazooka and leatherneck is still kinda baffling to me. great molds, just took me by surprise to see a clean shaven leatherneck.

i hope you're right tazzzman. i like the idea about serpentor. i've been wanting to do that for a while now. yes, my serpentor will be brought back to life. they should do that in the comics ... oh wait ... uh ... yeah.

i just wish hasbro would quit taking completely new looking molds and saying this is bazooka. or this is Zap. i feel it's kind of a slap in the face to it's older collectors.

thanx guys, it's good to see some supportive folks out there. maybe i can make it to the next one. this is my third summer deployed, so maybe next summer i can finally get to see the shock and awe of the joe convention.

well guys, i was supposed to be at the convention rebuilding my collection and visiting relatives. However, Uncle Sam had different plans for me, and i ended up in Iraq instead of Orlando. #US1# just doing my job i guess. but i'll be missing all those great deals i was going to take advantage of. well, everyone enjoy, and maybe i'll see ya at the next con. any clue where it will be next year?
